Bags rejected upon arrival without reason

The process was good to try to sell.
I sent in my bags to sell, and they were rejected upon receipt, but without explanation.
I also had to sign up and pay an annual membership fee to sell to Rebag, but it seems like a waste.

Major damage not disclosed

The bag has a major crease and looks like it was practically folded in half. This was not disclosed in the description. Customer service seemed more interested in taunting me than acknowledging their error.

I would like to respectfully share my…

I would like to respectfully share my concern regarding the membership process. It feels uncomfortable when customers are required to pay the $50 membership fee if they are not interested. I believe it would be better to allow people to decide freely without feeling pressured. Regarding the purse, it was okay, but I was not completely satisfied with it. I also feel that the price was a bit too high for that particular item.

Item unacceptable and integrity questionable

Offered $325 buy back but only received $215 credit for a wallet I never used because the quality was far from “good.” Multiple contacts with customer service only to be cut off because of a shipping error on the part of ReBag and in spite of providing many emails proving my wallet had been received and processed. Now I’m stuck with a $500+ loss and a credit I will most likely never use because I do not trust their estimates of value nor the integrity of their employees.

OK experience

I met with a Rebag representative from Bloomingdale's. She gave me a range for my items. I made my decision and did the rest online. I feel that the whole process was not explained to me in its entirety. The website not obvious either.

consignment and buyouts

Based on consignment and buyouts - Too long wait. Not great communication. Constantly changing operations and extending payout to their advantage. Charges you 3% to pull your money after set agreement. Do not recommend.

Rebag Sells Fakes

Currently awaiting my return to be processed as I received a fake bag. And not nearly a good fake. It was disgustingly obvious and it pains me that this company did not pick up on them selling such a fake Louis. I received my purchase and was instantly horrified. The speedy 20 was a fake. I’ve bought many LV handbags from lv and other resellers I know my brand. And I sold my real speedy 20 to them so I was well aware what a real bag is! Insane. I regret selling my bag. I regret doing a trade. I regret ever purchasing. Now I will have rebag credit that I don’t even want since I’ve experienced Rebag selling a fake bag. I cannot wait until this nightmare is over. It’s been horrible since I started the trade. I took my speedy into my nearest store only for it to be labeled as something else and the trade value going down. I made a call and fixed that. But since then I have regretted ever shopping with Rebag

Great Rebag experience!

I had a great 1st experience with Rebag! I had been trying to find a specific Gucci bag and I finally found one on the site! The ordering process was simple, it shipped quickly and the condition (lightly used) exceeded my expectations. Made the price totally worth it! I’m thrilled with my purchase.

Terrible Experience

I used to like working with them before they were not like other resellers— who have shady business policies and do not inform sellers of these unethical policies. I’ve sold with this company and purchased. I was told as a Rebag+ member I am locked into a certain payout quota that would not change. There was no prior notice about drastic price decreases. If I had known about this, I would have not brought my business elsewhere. The only reason I resold through them again was due to this product being purchase originally from them. They also have not notified me that my item sold, I have had to check the app almost everyday to be updated. When I went in store I was told to call. When I called I was also given vague answers to my questions. Everything is shady within this company, and the shift is evident in the last 4 years. I still have no idea how much my item has sold for. On top of the fact that it takes 40 days for the item being sold and then another 15 on top to receive the pay out.

Be Prepared to Wait — and Take a Risk

Rebag used to be a great platform for buying and selling, but my experience over the past year has been extremely disappointing.

For sellers, the turnaround time has become quite long. It can take 3–4 weeks just for items to be processed, followed by up to 30 business days to receive payment. On top of that, there’s a 3% cash-out fee to access your funds. I also ran into repeated issues with the payout system, receiving “failed cash out” errors that delayed payment even further. Altogether, the process can stretch to 3-4 months before you actually receive your money.

On the buying side, item descriptions don’t always feel reliable. The photos and written details sometimes fail to accurately reflect the condition, which makes the experience unpredictable. Some items exceed expectations, while others fall far short.

Customer service is another mixed area. Some representatives are extremely helpful and go out of their way to resolve issues, while others provide generic responses and are less than helpful in addressing concerns.

Overall, while Rebag still has potential, the current experience feels inconsistent and scammy. I would recommend taking your business to Fashionphile, Bag Borrow or Steal, or other independent sellers.
