Damaged goods

I have read your reply and I agree with you. You did act promptly. I have reflected this in a change of rating. It is good to see companies like yours reacting to reviews in a polite and accurate manner. As I sat on our Rattanpark garden furniture we purchased a few years ago last night, I recommended you to my step-son. The quality, when arriving undamaged is very good.

Unfortunately, the product I bought arrived broken. It was the last pair of sun loungers they had that matched the set that I have.
It comes wrapped in a pallet. When they came to retrieve it, I had to repack it, which was a bit of an ask as the box was pretty much destroyed.
They get the one star for repaying me within a few days of it being picked up.

We would, however, like to politely address the final remark included in your review. Upon receiving your email regarding the damaged delivery, our team contacted you as quickly as possible—within a matter of minutes. Our customer service team then spoke with you by phone to discuss the situation and agree on a convenient collection date.

As communicated, we confirmed that the refund would be processed promptly once the goods had been collected. This is exactly what was done—the refund was issued immediately after collection. At the same time, we informed you that, depending on banking and system processes, the funds may take 2–4 working days to appear in your account.

In light of the above, we feel that the final part of the review may not fully reflect the course of events or the level of support provided by our team. We always strive to respond quickly and to support our customers at every stage of the process.

Cambridge corner sofa with fire pit

We received our Cambridge corner sofa with fire pit last week. Can only say Wow!! We love it. Fits our gazebo perfectly!!
Unfortunately we were short of the corner brackets for the screen to the fire pit. One email to rattan park with a phone call back from Dan and replacements were DHL'd to us the same day!!
We bought the weather covers too. These are amazing quality, good thick waterproof material with drawstring bottoms and clip ties to secure.
Only criticism if I had one would be the courier company that delivered. I had to chase them 3 times to secure a delivery slot over 2 weeks after purchase, a little disappointing. But once slot was secured it arrived on the day and in the desired time slot. Because of this I had to go 4* rather than 5.

Highly recommend - Excellent quality

Bought my furniture from here, the quality is great, communication was great and quick delivery. 6 months later I bought the covers and again fast delivery and high quality. Always a worry ordering on line but do not hesitate to use this company, they are a fraction of the price of in store furniture sets.

Excellent quality garden furniture and service

I recently purchased garden furniture from Rattan Park and the whole experience was excellent. The order process was straightforward, delivery was on time, and everything arrived very well packaged. The furniture itself feels solid and well made, looks great in the garden, and was easy to assemble with clear instructions. Communication from the company was friendly and professional throughout, and I appreciated the personal note and request for honest feedback. Overall I’m very happy with both the product and the service, and would happily recommend Rattan Park to others.

Arm chair cover ordered but does not…

Arm chair cover ordered but did not cover chair to the ground - other covers ordered all cover furniture to the ground so not sure why armchair one was not made to same spec ! Company has since come back and advised cover was not manufactured at factory to correct spec and given full refund so have now adjusted review - ideal would be get product 100% correct first time.

Rain covers

I ordered rain covers , but didn’t check sizes , just looked at photo, so it didn’t fit my sofa. I could use the covers for the chairs & table, so I asked if I could buy an individual cover for a 3 seater sofa , you don’t do this so I had to go elsewhere .

Radio silence about a complaint and no phone number!!

Good morning.

Thank you for your reply.

I would like to point out that my review is fair and factual and has detailed, at length, the journey I have gone through with your company in trying to obtain the correct item.

If you read the initial review back you will see that I have no issue with the furniture you have supplied and have gone to lengths to clarify that.

Firstly, I am not disagreeing with the offer made and the discount received, that is not the issue.

The problem is that you have not sent a LHF cover as you have stated in your response, you have sent a RHF cover and this is where the confusion has occurred.

You offered to send a LHF cover by your own definition but have in fact sent a RHF cover. For reference, here is your definition from your own email, "We’ve checked the cover you received, and we can confirm that it is indeed a left-hand facing configuration. The longer section (the “chaise”) is on the left side when you are standing and looking at the sofa, which defines it as left-hand facing."

So, you correctly identified my sofa as a left hand sofa (again, by your own definition - the longer side being on the left) and you've sent me a right hand cover (which you have labelled incorrectly as left hand). This was confirmed to you after you requested numerous photographs from me of the product for clarification, which I emailed to you.

I hope you now can finally understand my issue. If you had a phone number for customers to call and discuss these discrepancies with this could have been resolved instead of having to waste time on sending multiple emails which haven't been understood/read correctly/responded to, hence a one star review for providing an incorrect item and not responding appropriately to resolve the issue.

The one star isn't for the main product (a corner sofa and table with stools) it's for the furniture cover which was subsequently delivered late. The lateness wasn't the issue - even though it arrived a good few weeks after the initial order (we received a 50% discount for the inconvenience) it was the poor attitude and behaviour which followed.
The cover was ordered using Rattan Park's own directions in terms of a 'right or left hand sided' cover for the corner sofa. Unfortunately the labelling is inconsistent!
Upon receiving it we found it to be incorrect and advised Rattan Park accordingly. Our method of ordering right v left was queried until we pointed out that we had used their guide.
We were then asked to jump through various hoops, i.e. take a picture of the furniture, take a picture of the cover next to the furniture and take a picture of my partner next to the furniture. We provided everything as requested.
After this process they agreed to send the correct cover. However, they were only prepared to do this if we sent the original item back first, provided as it had been upon receipt and also in the original packaging it had arrived in - both pretty much impossible tasks (which is why they probably gave them out as terms to accept the return!). The packaging was a black plastic wrapper, not designed for multiple uses nor was it labelled to open carefully for use should the item need to be returned, and have you tried to refold a corner sofa cover once it's been completely opened????
We advised them that it would be difficult to fulfil their request but if they sent a replacement cover we would do our best to repackage the initial item in the packaging for the replacement but this would prove very challenging due to the fact that we had now had to use the product inside out to protect the furniture due to the issue taking so long to resolve!
We received the following email "Please be informed that we have already clarified all matters regarding this case in our previous correspondence".
After this they haven't responded to further emails nor have they been prepared to have a telephone conversation about the situation. In fact, they don't even have a telephone number published for the company. After trying to locate a number the one registered to them belongs to a pallet company that they used to store their product with a few years ago.
Beware the company that doesn't publish a phone number.
We welcome a response as publishing this may be the only way that we get one!

For full clarity of this case:

On 18 July 2025 at 09:38, we informed you that the Rain Cover FSZ-007-R had a manufacturing defect. We offered you a 50% refund together with the option of sending you the alternative model FSZ-007-L LHF.

On 19 July 2025 at 20:23, we received an email from Mr. Steve confirming your agreement:
“Yes, please despatch a left hand cover and refund 50%. Many thanks.”

The very next day, the FSZ-007-L LHF cover was dispatched from our warehouse and delivered by DHL.

It is important to note that the distinction between LHF (Left Hand Facing) and RHF (Right Hand Facing) is clearly explained in our ordering guide. In this case, the issue arose due to the customer not differentiating between LHF and RHF. Nevertheless, as a responsible and fair company, we went beyond our obligations by sending the correct cover, applying a 50% discount, and even offering a full refund with collection of the item should you wish to return it.

We believe this demonstrates that Rattan Park has acted transparently, fairly, and in good faith at every stage of this process. Our aim has always been – and will always be – to resolve any issues quickly and ensure our customers are satisfied.

Rattan garden corner unit

Could not contact the company by phone but did it by email as we wanted to order garden furniture but delay delivery until after the 6th October and was told this was ok. We ordered the furniture online and requested delivery for after the 6th October, then a few days after placing the order we received a phone call from a local carrier to say that they had the furniture from Rattanpark and wanted to arrange delivery which we did. When the carrier arrived he was very helpful and everything seems to be ok as we had to store it in the garage for now until we clear the area in the garden for the furniture to go. This would have been 5 stars if they had delayed our order as requested and if it was possible to contact them by phone.
