We had a bathroom refit from Quickfix last year and couldn’t recommend them more! With little experience in renovations ourselves, Gary’s advice and help was invaluable. From the very first meeting right through to completion everything went smoothly, and communication was clear and regular.

The quality of work was excellent, and we’re thrilled with the final result. Overall, we were very impressed with the speed of the work, how any problems and surprises that came up were handled, how Gary worked hard to keep things within our budget, and for the advice and support in choosing everything. We couldn’t be happier with the bathroom and absolutely would recommend this company to anyone.

We have just had a complete bathroom make-over done by Quick Fix and are delighted with the result. The workmanship is of a high quality, with as little disruption to us as possible. Wes was professional, courteous and cleaned up after himself before leaving each day.

I've used this company several times over the past couple of years for a whole variety of jobs, both small and big jobs, internally & externally of the property and, no matter who they employ to do the job, I've never had cause to complain about the quality of the work. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Quickfix. Electrician Andy did a great tidy job with the electrics (new sockets inside and out), and beautiful plastering and skirting by Wes. Both were friendly and professional. Lizz in the office was also great, though she was slightly let down by the system not sending her emails to me! All in all we are very happy customers.

Gary and his team did an absolutely brilliant job converting a neglected space off our kitchen into a lovely utility / downstairs toilet. They are very hard workers and I would recommend to anyone. Thank you!

Created a new cloakroom and under stair storage. Work was completed to a high standard.

Purchased a bathroom via Wickes and was allocated Quickfix as the bathroom fitter. Informed by Quickfix that the bathroom would be fitted on the 17th July. It is now the 9th October and bathroom has still not been fitted despite the old bathroom being taken out and a new bathroom provided by Wickes sitting in the spare room waiting to be fitted. Given several new installation dates since the 17th July but no communication from Quickfix at any point as to why the bathroom has not been installed on the given dates. I had to phone myself to find out if the installation had gone ahead. Checked today to find out latest progress only to be informed that Qucikfx have effectively washed their hands and it has been passed back to Wickes. Two months rental income has been lost due to the delay.

I couldn't recommend Quickfix more highly. Gary was a perfectionist who made an excellent job of a fiddly repair, over the weekend, at a cost that was more than reasonable. I'd certainly use them again.

We recently had our en suite shower replaced. Booking an appointment was easy and everyone I spoke to was so helpful. Callum replaced the shower, he was polite did a great job and left the room clean and tidy. I have no hesitation in recommending Quick Fix

After several months of contacting Wickes about a kitchen extractor that they failed to secure to the wall correctly, and constantly being fobbed off by them, it’s the last time I will spend 12 thousand pounds on a new kitchen from them. I contacted Quick fix in York, after only a few days the gentleman came to my house, assessed the job and said he could easily fix it and would be back in a day or so, he came last Saturday and within an hour he had replaced the 2 one inch plasterboard screws that Wickes had used and replaced them with a more robust securing, all done in a friendly manner and he also cleaned up as he went along, brilliant job well done.
The people on the end of the phone were very friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. This is a great company to deal with, I wish I had known them years ago, and will certainly be my first port of call for future work.

Would definitely use Quick Fix again. Everyone concerned was helpful and friendly. Callum did a fantastic job, we would recommend him to anyone needing work done.

Callum came to tile part of the porch and put cladding on the top and upper half of the walls and his attention to detail was fantastic. The result is an entrance to my house that I love. The communication from Quick-fix was great, Karen answered my queries promptly and kept me up to date. I recommend this company for their excellent work.

We needed an urgent total refurbishment of a downstairs utility and wet room due to severe water damage to the floor and sub floor. Gary and his team responded quicker than anybody we contacted. He also came up with ideas to effectively rebuild the area better than anybody else. We felt prioritised throughout the rebuilding process. We are extremely pleased with the end result. Clare and Karen in Customer Services never failed to pick up the phone when we called and help answer any questions we had. I can’t recommend highly enough this team based on my experience.

We had two people from Quick fix help us with our summer turn around and both of the team members they sent were very friendly and helpful! Callum managed to get every single thing done that we asked him to do in the 2 weeks he worked with us and even came in on the Saturday as extra to support with any final bits that needed doing

I had a roof tile that was broken and needed replacing as it had created a hole in the roof. Being just a small job I didn't know who to contact but having received an advert through the door for Quick-Fix I gave them a call. I found the call pleasant and helpful. The job was assessed the following day. A reasonably priced quote was received promptly after. I rang to confirm the job and I received a time and day very quickly. The job was done very quickly and efficiently. The whole process took just 7 days. I am very pleased with the Quick - Fix operation. Brian W. Haxby
