I love Pure Portugal, I’ve been using it for over ten years and bought three properties through it.

First a €10,000 plot in central Portugal to test off-grid life with a caravan. Then a 15-hectare farm with three stone houses to rebuild. Now a stone house on the Rio Águeda where I live today.

Three completely different chapters of my life, all found on the same website.

What sets it apart is the search.
You can filter by region, district, land size, property type — riverside, farmland, village house, ruin, quinta. Set your budget and only see what’s actually relevant. No wading through thousands of city flats to find the rural gems.

And it’s the only place I’ve found that combines agent listings and private owner listings in one search. That matters.

The river house I’m in now was a direct owner listing — I offered well below asking as a dream bid and the seller accepted. No middleman, no commission pressure, just two people talking.
