Can't contact them. They fitted "smart" meters that don't work. They sent me an email, asking for meter readings to be sent to them on the 29th of July to avoid having an estimated bill, but have taken the payment (which must have been estimated) on the 27th....WHY??
I'm going to stop payments next month, and wait for them to contact me.
Poor service
Don’t expect any form of customer service - the only way to contact them is via Facebook and they may simply ignore you, as they are doing with me. I’ve asked them not to renew my contract when it ends, and they are uninterested in talking about it.
With out doubt the worst customer service I have ever encountered
Total lack of communication, its taken me 7 months to get them to admit that they had used incorrect data to estimate a final bill.
Eon took 16 mins on the phone, you cant phone PP they don't reply to e-mails ,they don't check facts, they are probably the worst company i have ever dealt with ever.
They even say that 85% of customers aprovre of them on Trustpilot I don't think so!
Bloody dreadful
Bloody dreadful. I thought energy suppliers were regulated by the government. Pure planet over charged me £400 in a year then hired a debt collecting agency,
"Reach Out" to chase me for £14.75 they said I still owed them.

You only realise how good a company is when there is a problem, I am paying 2 energy providers for the last 6 months even though I had an email to say my switch was completed. When I go to query what's going on,they have no customer service telephone line and the only method is to message them. You'll be lucky to get a response in a timely fashion I can assure you. The resolution they offered was to refund some money that I had paid. No chance your paying compensation my sweets and if not it's going to the ombudsman. I will never ever go with a company that doesn't have a telephone number to contact again.

Ridiculously expensive
Ridiculously expensive. Looking at our new daily readings from Eon now we've moved house, I am shocked to see how different they are. Love the idea but charging far too much.

High price for useless communication. They are trying to charge me 3 times my normal full months billing for the first 2 weeks when I moved into a new house. Taken 2 months to respond to my email they are an utter joke.

Considering these guys are largely working from home they have been fine with their communication with me and have gone over and above in locating instructions for new meter that was fitted by an engineer with my last energy supplier but with no instruction left on how to get meter readings! Now at least I should be able to get an accurate reading to them.
IHD do not switch…
If you are on a smart meter do not switch to Pure Planet. We did and after a power cut Pure Planet do not want that our In Home Display (IHD) no longer is registering any gas usage. Wish I had never switched for what I save with these charlatans. Oh and they didn't even get my opening readings correct.
Appalling communication - still waiting
Here we go again, trying and failing to communicate with this dreadful outfit.
Unfortunately, this is my second appalling experience with pure planet.
As the Landlord of a property which has just changed tenants, I have a very small bill of £8.91 to pay.
After failing to get any response to my messages via Facebook and email for weeks, eventually they respond and the bill is sent.
However, there is no contact for paying the bill and again my messages ignored and emails returned as server could not deliver.
All I want is a phone number to pay this bill.
This is stressful, frustrating and appalling service.

I had great difficulty contacting Pure Planet about an accounting query, and I am glad to say that, having eventually found their text number, they responded very quickly and the matter has been resolved. So thank you for dealing with it promptly. The original issue was actually a problem with logging in to my account, but this seems to have been sorted too.

I switched to this mob 6 months ago, huge mistake. They said it was a simple process , 2 minutes to do it and a few weeks later it'd all be sorted. Six months later I can't submit a reading,even though I shouldn't have to as I have a smart meter anyway. Today they text me asking for a reading saying we know you have a smart meter but we are not smart enough to read it...

Avoid this company at all costs. No customer service, if you have issues you are told they will make note but have no power to help you. I wonder if this is not a well organised scam. I did not and never would choose company where you can not speak to customer service adviser my last tenant did. NOTHING PURE ABOUT THIS COMPANY
Mean well but are very limited in what they can deliver
They mean well,I think, but their systems are rubbish (e.g. you can have only one account per username) and they have almost no customer support unless you chase them.
To be fair, though, when you finally get through to someone they actually try to help.
So I'm upgrading my original 1-star review to 3 stars to reflect that person's support despite the huge limitations of dealing with Pure Planet.

Shocking customer service. Impossible to speak to anyone. Confusing bills. They have held on to £250.00 of our money since November. Still waiting. They don't return texts.. Just standard response saying someone will be in touch... Don't go near them.

I have been asking for months to review my account as I have credit with them they kept saying we will but they never did ,at the moment I have moved home and got a new supplier been sending pure plant emails to refund my money but is the same no reply .it’s a rubbish customer service no phone number to ring I don’t advice anyone to go with them
Demand extra payments, no customer services
This company have sent me a demand for extra payment and put up my monthly charge. It is impossible to get hold of them for a discussion or any explanation of their aggressive demands for increases to the payments. There is no customer service, it's all app based with no way to get help.Thinking of switching to this? DON'T.
