I had a transplant in 2016 in Hungary.
I was told by them that I had to wait up to a year for the transplant to see the results. I waited two years to no avail as the hair did not grow at all !!

I found Dr Thomas on the Internet while searching for a second opinion on why the surgery had failed.
After a professional opinion Dr Thomas undertook the work and it was a success.!!
I am presently now back for further work with full trust in Dr Thomas.

I fully trust Dr Thomas and recommend him to others.

Awful experience with this clinic. He has left scarring and wasted a large amount of donor hair. I will have to see another clinic to repair the damage. Two procedures done in the last 3 years. Wish I hadn't!

He will probably reply to this, saying that he has never heard of me. This is what he does when he makes a mistake. Very unpleasant man to deal with.

I found Dr Thomas Mantse from Prohair Clinic in Hungary, on the internet and I had a hair transplant with him over a year ago and I am real happy to have found him. I arrived from Spain and he organized everything for me. I followed his advice from day - 7 to day 365. Also we kept in touch weekly by WhatsApp until the hairs fell, then monthly till full growth. Hair growth is non-existent, particularly in the crown area after three years (may 2021). I choose the clinic after positive personal exchanges with the doctor.
It is immensely disappointing and disheartening, especially considering the time and trust I invested.
I attended hair surgery in 2021 and have not seen any significant hair growth.

I have little hope for positive results from a second procedure at Prohair.hu. ; even if the treatment offered for free.
Regrettably, I cannot recommend this service at all.

I have just returned home from my hair transplant with Dr.Thomas Mantse. This was my 2nd hair transplant after i had my 1st hair transplant done in Turkey. I wanted to give a review on my experience and difference between the 2.

Firstly my experience in Turkey (highly rated on TrustAdvisor) was a disappointing one and i will list the reasons why :
- I was led to believe that they would be able to cover more than what was actually done, therefore selling me an unachievable goal.

Before I got my hair transplant done , I thoroughly searched the internet and reading upon Dr Thomas Mantse impeccable reviews which seemed extremely genuine , I decided to go with Dr Mantse and never had any regrets .There were no third party intermediaries and I got to talk to the Dr himself regarding the work that had to be done and now that's its completed, I can contact him directly if I have any queries post transplant. Dr Thomas Mantse is a master of his craft and unquestionably is one of the best hair transplant doctors in the world . I was a Norwood 6 and now its completed you would have not known I got a transplant due to the natural finish , Dr Mantse has give my hair line .Thank you again Dr Mantse for your work , you have given me my confidence back and I will always be indebted to you

It has been 1 year now and my results are amazing. The process is a long process, however if you consider that it will last a lifetime, 1 year is nothing.

I had my FUE hair transplant in September of 2019 with had my FUE hair transplant in September of 2019 with Dr. Mantse and I couldn’t be happier with the results. It’s been almost two years since the surgery and my results are life changing. I look back on pictures from before the transplant and I’m shocked at how great my hairline looks now.

The surgery was over a three day period, as I got just over 3000 hairs transplanted. I arrived in Budapest a few days early to enjoy the city and get acclimated, as I had just flown in from the USA. Over the three days, I arrived early in the morning and left around 3-4pm each day.

Dr. Mantse and his assistant were very kind and explained everything in detail, as I was quite nervous. The only uncomfortable part is getting the injections of numbing medication in the transplant area. Besides that, you sit back, relax and sit in the chair watching TV as the doctor does his magic.

Dr. Mantse definitely met all of my expectations and I’m thinking of going back in another year or two to get a second surgery with him. I’m very happy with my results and I can’t wait to see what another few thousand hairs looks like. Thank you Dr. Mantse for your hard work and look forward to seeing you sometime in the future.

I visited Tomas in Nov 19, I was nervous but as soon as I landed I was picked up and taken to the hotel. Tomas called me in the car and talked me through the process, Hotel was comfortable. Tomas called a few times that night to check on me. At the surgery, very strict protocol for keeping the place sterile, it was immaculate.
He reassured me, even though I don’t like needles he did everything he could to ensure I was fine, pain free and at ease.
Two days for 2000 grafts, I flew home the same evening. No bleeding, I went to woke after a week - I work in Construction.
Small scabbing, it has been 6 months now and I have hair. It needs to thicken but I believe now is the time when this will start over the next 6 months. My friends and family can not believe it.

When I attended my first appointment to see Dr Thomas at his Prohair Klinika, I was struck by the sheer professionalism of the atmosphere in the clinic.

Being met by a smiling and friendly Dr Thomas was very reassuring. After I was asked to wear clinic-supplied footwear upon entering the clinic, the lengths to which the doctor goes to “ensure we maintain a completely sterile and germ-free environment”, could not fail to impress. That certainly impressed me, and my first impressions (compared with visits to other clinics) was one of confidence and that I had just found the place and the person who strikes all the right chords.

This looked positive!

After Dr Thomas had sat with me and discussed my particular case and assured me of what he could do for me (which was more than others had achieved) I was ready to book my appointments. Dr Thomas' manner and knowledge was very encouraging and informative.

I left our first meeting knowing the what, the when, the where and the how of my forthcoming hair ”operation”, which also had the added benefit of representing better value.

Results with the Prohair Klinika transplant became very obvious when the transplanted follicles produced the “new” hair. As the doctor's placement of the transplants is meticulously carried out, this ensured that the “new” hair growth looked completely natural and in fact he's done such an excellent job that I defy even Dr Thomas to locate the transplanted hair.

For those left wondering, yes I am going back, from the UK, to Dr Thomas to have him repeat the excellent outcome of my first transplant experience with him.

Would I recommend a transplant from Prohair Klinika and Dr Thomas? Absolutely – I'm going back for more, aren't I?!

Oh, and before I forget, Thomas' English is excellent, which really helps if you don't speak Hungarian!

Dr Mantse is a real hair artist - he is doing all himself and with passion. I have been with him 3 times and all looks natural. Atmosphere is friendly and calm. I really recommend him but still hope that he stays an insider tip.

I had a hair transplant with Thomas 12 months ago now. Started to see results after 6 months, gradually getting thicker by 8 and 10 months. After 12 months there is a massive improvement in my hair.

Having very recently returned to the UK from Budapest after having receiving an FUE hair Transplant from Dr Mantse I can honestly say I could not have been happier with the whole process. Thomas is a highly skilled and passionate practitioner. Not only this he is a very nice and warm Man. Having worked in the health care field for many years I can assure you this is not always the case! His clinic is great and he sorted everything from start to finish, the hotel was near to the clinic and very comfortable. The procedure was over 2 days with 1000 FUE grafts extracted and implanted over each of these days. I was made to feel comfortable throughout and Dr Mantse explained everything throughout and chatted easily which was very reassuring. One of the most important aspects is that he performs the whole procedure himself (his lovely, qualified wife does assists with the extraction), they chatted away in Hungarian and I almost fell asleep a few times as it was so relaxing listening to them, but apart from that Thomas works to the highest standards and completes all aspects of the transplant and is very precise. Following the procedure I felt virtually no discomfort and did not have any swelling at all, I even ventured out to a large mall near to the hotel both evenings after the procedures. As I had the “no look HT” I can confirm that this is just as advertised. You can hardly see the graft site at the front and I’m sure in a week or so the back will be very hard to see. My hair at the back is not that thick so if yours is it will be completely invisible immediately following the procedure. This is further testament to the skill of Dr Thomas! If you are looking to get a Hair Transplant at half the cost but with twice the results of U.K clinics look no further. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Thomas and if need be will return again!

Exceptional service and results. First of all, I have to start by saying that the staff is hard working professionals with a big sense of humor and empathy. I felt very welcome. I even had some problems with my AirBnb (I recommend that you to let Klinika book the hotel for you with a good track record, my AirBnb host had accidentally forgotten to give me the keys so I couldn't open one of the doors to get outside of the building, so I was stuck) - and came in much later for the procedure than we had decided to have our initial appointment and transplant. These people were willing to flex their schedule for me, even though I had mismanaged this situation, and they did it with grace. No complaints or extra fees from their side. They worked their asses for about 8 hours non-stop. The next day we continued again and I felt very calm and assured that I had picked the right place. I have to say that if I could give them 6 stars, I would.

I started the process as a Norwood 7 so I didn't expect to get much coverage. I have now had three procedures over 2 years with Thomas at Klinika Prohair (he recommended the treatment in stages due to the trauma of such a big transplant process), and can honestly say I am delighted with the results.
