I purchased the Primera LX4000 Color Label Printer with Dye Ink. I discovered this printer through ChatGPT while looking for high DPI print quality alternatives to my old QL-120 Astro Nova printer. I really appreciate how simplistic and easy to use this printer is in comparison with a lower ink cost per print, no need to purchase maintenance cartridges, and no 30-minute startup process that wastes a crazy amount of ink and maintenance cartridge space. The best part: a new LX4000 was half the price of a new Astro Nova printer. Thank you for listening to the customer's needs Primera! Well done!

Thank you for your feedback, and I’m sorry for any frustration caused by the timing of your order.

When your printer was purchased, the quoted lead time was 3–4 weeks. I’m happy to let you know that your unit is scheduled to ship tomorrow or Thursday, which is still within the original lead time we provided.

I also wanted to offer some context regarding our current backorders: our sub-assemblies are manufactured in Jamaica, and we’ve experienced ongoing delays due to the continuing effects of the devastating hurricane there last year. This has unfortunately impacted production timelines across several product lines, including your printer.

Regarding the review request you received: our review emails are automatically scheduled to send about one month after purchase. That is why it arrived before your printer was delivered. Since the printer hasn’t arrived yet, your current review doesn’t reflect the product’s actual performance. It would be wonderful if you could remove it for now, and then, once your printer arrives, you could provide a fair review based on your experience with it.

We ended up returning this computer. The cutter quit working within 2 weeks and the printer would not print.. I felt the blacks on our stickers were never truly black
