Very helpful service from Knika making it easier to book our holiday

Bought a Wowcher holiday with advertised dates that turned out to be unavailable when booking through Prime Holidays. I was then bounced back and forth between both Wowcher and asking for flexibility for NEXT YEAR they couldn’t honour the selected dates and kept deflecting responsibility back to Wowcher. Not trustworthy.. — be cautious with these holiday vouchers.

Purchased a 3 night Amsterdam break through Wowcher. Was offered flights that gave us less than the allotted time at the location. Called back discuss options and couldn't even get a written itinerary from them for what I'd paid for, only a ton of upsell options. After being ignored I called back the next day to be told "Standard Package is not available now" and I now have to go through WOWcher for a refund.
Awful experience, waste of time and money. Can reiterate what everyone else has said on these review, avoid like the plague and just book your own flights and hotels.
UPDATE [18 Nov 2025]: FULL REFUND SECURED. After being ignored for weeks and told no refund was possible, I secured a 100% refund from the retailer (Wowcher) within 24 hours by exposing the truth about this merchant.
WARNING TO OTHER CUSTOMERS: My investigation revealed that "Prime Holidays" (ATOL 3928) appears to be trading using the address and details of a company (PTC Travel Ltd) that was legally dissolved in 2016.
They are effectively trading on a dead corporate identity. I presented this evidence to the retailer's CEO and filed a report with the CAA. If you are being ignored by this company, do not waste time on the phone. Check their legal status on Companies House and report them to the authorities immediately. That is how I won.
I have still not had a single response via email from this merchant.
Original review below...
AVOID. Total bait-and-switch and coercive upsell.
Booked a package holiday (via Wowcher) which Prime Holidays failed to honour. The advertised deal guaranteed a "Minimum 60 hours" and a "Central Hotel".
What they offered was 5 hours and 20 minutes short of the guaranteed time and a hotel 20 minutes by public transport from the centre.
Then came the classic pressure tactic: they demanded an additional £149 per person just to get the holiday I had already paid for. This is a coercive upsell, plain and simple.
Since I (lawfully) rejected their non-compliant offer, they have completely ignored all my emails and complaints. Zero response. Agent on the phone told me it wasn't possible to speak anyone senior, and even that it was not possible to speak to their customer services department on the phone - total disregard for customer support.
This company (ATOL 3928) does not honour its advertised deals and their customer service is non-existent. Wowcher customer service is no better and I am still without a refund despite having not booked a holiday.
UPDATE - 20th Nov 2025 still no response from Wowcher. Will be reporting both businesses to CAA and trading standards.
I booked a Wowcher Amsterdam holiday fulfilled by Prime Holidays and my experience has been extremely disappointing and disgusting.
After purchasing two vouchers, I was only offered flight options that arrived in Amsterdam at 1 a.m. and departed around 8 a.m., leaving less than two full days at the destination. When I asked about alternatives, communication was slow, and due to this, I was later told only one seat was left and that I would need to pay extra for both of us to get on a flight at a different time. After looking around online, there actually is no flight to Amsterdam at 11:50pm 1st March 2026 anyway so it was all fake.
The staff I spoke to were unhelpful and dismissive, and it became clear that the advertised “from” price was not genuinely available or even existed, let alone 'sold out'.
It is clear to see the only positive reviews are fake. Please avoid at all costs.

We booked a 2-night hotel and flight package through Wowcher, who then passed us on to Prime Holidays. What should have been a simple weekend break turned into a mess. I feel misled and falsely advertised.
The outbound flight they offered was a late one to Eindhoven — over two hours away by train from our hotel in Amsterdam — and the return flight was so early that we’d effectively only get one full day there. After several back-and-forth messages with Prime Holidays, they eventually offered flights to Schiphol on different dates, but then claimed this new offer only included flights and that we’d have to arrange our own hotel.
We paid £300 for what was advertised as a full holiday — I genuinely don’t understand how this can be marketed as one. To make things worse, Wowcher have offered zero support despite being the company I actually purchased the 'deal' through. Even though I contacted them just the day after booking, both Wowcher and Prime Holidays refused a refund or any accountability.
This setup feels misleading and unethical. Prime Holidays are even running two separate Trustpilot pages — one with over 260 one-star reviews! I don’t know how they’re still operating. There's even a Facebook group that was started a year ago, urging people to AVOID this scam company, yet they're still allowed to operate.
Booking directly would’ve cost half the price, so how Wowcher are allowing this company to operate as a 'deal' package holiday doesn't make sense to me. Save yourself the stress and avoid at all costs.
No booking has been made with the airline or hotel; we would like to cancel this deal. Why a refund isn't being given is due to complete GREED!
I recently purchased 3 vouchers for a 2 night trip the Oslo via Wowcher and Prime Holidays were the merchant responsible for organising the trip. Originally the trip was supposed to cost us £89pp but once I had selected the dates that I wanted and had them in my basket, the price increased to £119pp. I went ahead with the purchase anyway as I thought that for flights and a hotel that was still an ok price. The following day I received an email with my flight options. Option 1 was to fly out from Luton and return via Gatwick. Option 2 was to fly out from Stansted and return via Stansted, however I would have to pay an additional £59pp. Both options required me to spend more money, as I would have to get a taxi from Gatwick back to Luton just to retrieve my car.
I explained that I would need to cancel the booking because the travel options were both unsuitable and I was told that I wouldn't receive a refund for that.
I have contacted both Wowcher and Prime Holidays (the later I still haven't had a response from) Wowcher has told me to seek a refund through Prime Holidays, and Prime Holidays are ignoring me.
Dont bother. Booked through Wowcher - dont bother! Still not sorted out.
Asked for a refund but i doubt that will happen.
It appears if you book directly with them they are 'amazing'. Through a voucher, you are screwed!
Phil was very quick to find the best deals available for us and was quick to sort booking

Look at these scammers setting up a new trust pilot account when their shenanigans became apparent on the old one. Do not trust this abysmal company with your money. See the other account, that they previously claimed and then "un-claimed" for an honest bunch of reviews.
Seems a tale as old as time. Bought a Wowcher, it auto-redeemed, nobody contacted me so I made some calls. Offered a shorter holiday than the voucher we booked, or the holiday itself for an extra 50% "supplemental payment". Told them this wasn't acceptable, wanted my money back, they stopped responding to my emails. Use your credit cards with Wowcher or Prime Holidays, use their guarantees. I'll be making a chargeback and escalating a complaint through every possible avenue.
EDIT: Yes, I did eventually receive the refund, but they literally begged me to remove this review. It looks like they're paying for 5 star reviews now, accounts in the US saying "no hidden costs" just smacks of it. I was going to increase this to 2 stars, but seeing this now I just won't. These guys need shutting down.

Absolutely horrible experience! I feel scammed
Absolutely horrible experience. I feel completely scammed. I bought a trip to Vienna and Budapest via Wowcher for my mom and grandmother hoping it was going to be easier for them to have everything planned and booked but the whole thing is just such a complicated process.
It took days for Prime Holiday to call me. When I contact them directly, they are always busy and say they’ll call back in an hour. They never do, they kept me waiting for a call for almost 2 hours.
When I finally got a hold of them, they say they flight is set to leave from Manchester which is simple crazy… I never selected that. In fact, Wowcher’s website never gave me the option to select what airport to leave from. I assumed this was sorted with the holiday provider. I’m sorry but wowcher’s website is so terribly designed that it’s impossible to understand things.
Lastly, the agent calls me and tells me that the flight is set to leave at 10pm, which is also crazy. They would arrive there in the middle of the night and are supposed to get to a hotel, two older women on their own. Also, it’s really unfair and unethical to promote this trip as a 4 night, 5 days trip when I literally miss the whole first day. We only actually get to enjoy the trip and the cities for 3 days and that’s it. How am I supposed to visit Vienna and Budapest in three days, considering there is also a travel day between the two? 5 days would be enough, and that's what they promote it as, but that's not the reality.
Prime Holidays are terrible, so not helpful, and their system of having to call is just ridiculous. So time consuming… Why not email? It’s easier communication, easier to understand each other, and if I need something I can call… It feels like to me that they don’t want to email so there is no written proof of the things they say and do. I emailed to ask for the full itinerary before deciding to cancel, and didn’t hear back. ZOE WILLIAMS is the agent who talked to me and she has ignored every email I sent, so forget any written proof of anything, they only talk on the phone. She completely switched her manner and posture when I asked about cancelling, after I got frustrated about the flight from Manchester, the late flight, and waiting for hours for a call.
Now I contacted Wowcher, and it's this back and forth between Wowcher and Prime Holidays customer service, where they tell me to contact the other for any refunds. I just want my money back and never speak of either of these companies again.
Phil was really helpful thank you Phil

Shocking rip off
Make believe flights so you pay extra to get what you originally brought as they tell you no refunds
Avoid avoid avoid
Ruined my suprise gift with no conscious at all
They will show £69 voucher with flight, hotel and tour. Airport will be hours away from you. Hotel will be in the middle of nowhere and flight will be 11pm. What a joke! Then then will keep asking money for adjustments. They wont allow refund as apparently you claimed the voucher but you didnt claim anything. Misleading and false advertisement. This is why you got negative reviews everywhere. I hope you are proud of what you do.
Trying to Book a wowcher deal with these guys as been nothing but disappointment and still nothing booked.
Phil called me sunday 5/10 thinking he was going to make everything right. He talked the talk but when he got stuck he said he was going to call me back. I think he must have loss my number or his mind cause I'm still waiting.
Somebody else tried to call me on Wednesday but i was unable to answer but i called back and was told that Zoe would return my call. I guess she's still on break. They even text and emailed to say they tried to contact me and i responded back.
At this time I can only agree with previous reviews to say this must be a scam so I'm left with no choice but to report it to my credit card provider.
Avoid Prime Holidays at all costs.
Their customer service is absolutely diabolical. I was passed to them by Wowcher after booking a £1200 Disneyland Paris holiday for my family. From the moment I tried to confirm the booking, it was chaos. I was told there were only two seats left on the flight—despite booking for four people—and they offered no help, no alternatives, and no accountability.
After days of chasing, they flat-out told me I would not be receiving a refund, no matter what I did. They refused to guide me, refused to escalate the issue, and refused to even tell me who I could speak to for help. It’s as if they’ve taken my money and vanished.
This company operates with zero transparency and zero care for customers. I’m now £1200 down, with no holiday and no support. Prime Holidays should not be trusted with anyone’s travel plans.
I really wish I’d never bothered booking through Wowcher. What was meant to be a special 20th wedding anniversary trip has turned into nothing but stress and disappointment.
I followed all the steps exactly — purchased the holiday voucher, redeemed it (because you have to redeem it before the travel company even contacts you), and then found out the “deal” wasn’t actually available. Instead, I was offered alternative flights at extra cost.
I had no choice but to book new flights and accommodation myself, meaning more money out of my own pocket. Wowcher’s terms say you can get a refund if the voucher isn’t redeemed, but you can’t even get the flight details without redeeming it — the system is completely flawed.
The communication between Wowcher and Prime Holidays has been confusing and unhelpful — I’m now dealing with both on WhatsApp, and they clearly see each other’s messages, yet neither takes proper responsibility.
I’ve now had to request a refund through Clearpay since Wowcher and Prime Holidays keep passing the blame. I sincerely hope they do the right thing and process the refund.
Please think twice before booking a holiday through Wowcher — it’s just not worth the risk or frustration.
Absolutely disgusting treatment booked a trip to Disneyland Paris 3 nights our first day the flight gets in at midnight then we have to find our own transport from the airport to the hotel which is 2 hours away I priced this up at over 400 pounds both ways they offered us different flights to a closer airport for an extra 180 pounds but with a different hotel then on the last day we have to be up at 4 o'clock in the morning to get to the airport we tried to get our money back on the first week when we realized this but they said we had already redeemed the voucher but they do it for you after 48 hours where is the 14 day cooling off period that they tell you about them prime and wowcher probably the same company each say you need to speak to the other you just go round in circles please don't fall for these so called cheap prices go to love holidays instead
