Very Helpful

I spoke to Sue- Outstanding customer service!

I spoke to Sue- she was extremely kind, courteous and knowledgeable and could not have been more helpfull. This type of customer service is an outstanding asset to PRA Group UK. I can recommend with the highest recommendation.

Always so reassuring and calm

I have just finished talking to Sarah who lad a lovely and calm Scottish accent; it was for one of my 6 month reviews and I have to say that each time I have these review calls, this company are alway so understanding and it’s impressive how they put mine and my families well being first in assessing my financial situation. I’m a believer in paying my dues but have never been pressured to do anything that would put my family in a critical position. They seem to genuinely care and are polite and understand that things go wrong in life and that they are there to help get things back on track. Thank you Sarah for the call and for leaving me at ease.

Very professional and reassuring service

I have spoken to Sue today

I have spoken to Sue today, so far she has provided me the best customer service. Sue was very friendly, helpful, and patient. She was so understanding and went the extra mile to help me solve my issue by making everything suitable to my needs.❤️❤️❤️❤️

I would strongly advise anyone to avoid…

I would strongly advise anyone to avoid dealing with PRA Group if possible.

Despite clear evidence that a default already registered by Barclaycard has been duplicated by PRA Group on my credit file — which is a clear breach of UK credit reporting laws and FCA regulations — they have refused to take action.

After speaking with two representatives (Nieve and her line manager Jean), I explained in detail that their default was a duplicate entry for the same debt, which is not only misleading, but also illegal under data protection laws and FCA rules. Yet, they completely dismissed my concerns and refused to remove the entry.

Their customer service was unhelpful, dismissive, and uninformed, and they failed to acknowledge even the basic legal standards around credit reporting. I’ve now had to escalate the issue to the Financial Ombudsman Service because PRA Group has failed to treat my complaint seriously or fairly.

Unhelpful and poor communication

I explained clearly to PRA Group that I am unemployed and unable to pay, but they continued to pursue me and even pushed for court action on a small debt. They ignored token payments I offered in the past and now send replies in email formats I can’t even open. Very stressful and unhelpful experience — communication is poor and not customer-friendly.

Got a call from sue who was lovely

Got a call from sue who was lovely, professional and non judgmental. She was very warm and made me feel instantly comfortable in what can be an uncomfortable and awkward conversation, she spoke through all my options and found a solution that worked best for me.
