I took my ipad in for a screen repair. When I got home I found that they had damaged the touch control. After taking the ipad back into Newcastle they advised that this could not be repaired and gave a refund. However I was still left with a damaged ipad! The issue was escalated to the manager who promised many things and has never returned any calls despite me calling the shop multiple times. Very disappointing customer service and I would not recommend using this company.

Took an iPhone screen in to be replaced in the Whetstone branch after this company was on the approved nationwide insurance list. Phone now constantly freezes and crashes with a warning that the repair hasn’t been completed. I’d rather have the damaged screen back and wish I’d read the other reviews before taking it anywhere near this shop.

My iPhone SE had broken down where both the cameras and torches wouldn’t work.
I took it to my nearest Apple Store who couldn’t fix my phone.
I put a claim on my insurance brought my phone to Pocket Geek Glasgow.
Was warmly greeted by Ali who managed to fix my phone for me within one hour.

I was locked out of my whatsapp after purchasing a new phone from Ali.
No one could get my data out of my old phone Ali spent almost 2 or 3 days but managed to get all my data onto the new phone.

Marissa was so amazing and helpful in helping me out with my phone - I would really recommend this store.

I phone the central HQ (not a local number) and was told that they have the screen in stock for my phone at the Chertsey branch and it would be £150 for a Third-party screen or £290 for a genuine screen. They book me in immediately and I go to the location, that's when things start to get suspicious.

I tell the guy at the store it’s the screen as I can still connect the phone to my computer and it sees it and it charges and I can still call it from another phone and it rings.

3 times he mentions that they will run a diagnostic to see if it’s anything else. He also wants my password to the phone ‘to check if its working’. Think about the amazon, eBay, PayPal apps you have on the phone and why the password is on the phone in the first place.

I ask what the replacement screen would cost and he tells me £340 and I told him the quote from HQ. Reluctantly he honours it.
I leave it with him, returning to the store 30minutes later only to be told he didn’t have a connector. Remember when HQ said he had the screen in Stock….. Nope he would have to order it Monday but wanted paying now.

This store is a scam.

The staff were very kind and amiable. I felt welcoming.

Went in to pocket geek Glasgow, my email was not working.
Staff are knowledgeable and very polite know what they are doing.
Service was quick and cheerful.

Contacted Pocket geek in Solihull as was having issues with my iMac compute, had gone in to ask for something to save my data on. After explain the problem they said you should not really need to save the data for the problem I was discribing.
Anyway as I had already booked a slot with Apple to investigate the problem I came away.
Apple told me is was a Hard drive issue and regrettably they would not be able too help me as the screen would need to removed to replace the part needed. Up until this point Apple had done all they could to fix the problem on line.
At this point I went back to Pocket geek and they were able to fix my iMac in 3/5 days replacing the part and speeding up the iMac immensely. This was done for under £300 which in my opinion well worth the money.
I would recommend Pocket geek in Solihull to anyone who is having problems with their tech equipment, very helpful.

I put up a notice warning people about pocket geek, Park street, Bristol, some weeks ago. I felt it I'd been seriously overcharged and was given a bill that wasn't itemised. Also, nothing had a price tag on. Pocket geek then put up a post acknowledging these problems and told me to take the goods back, not to worry about packaging, for a full refund.
I was pleased to feel listened to and looked after. When I went back to the shop I was told he couldn't refund me as he didn't have the number for the card machine (?) and to come back next week. When I went back I was refused any refund, point blank, and told they don't do that. It seems pocket geek are putting up posts to make it seem like they are looking after customers when doing no such thing. Not impressed. Be warned.
