Likely massive problems behind closed doors. Last time I experienced problems accessing funds that were lodged into account was post 08, quick research shows that not alone unable to access the money even they show on the account. Add this to buggy or non working app, I would be worried to keep any decent amount or for business purposes as not dependable when needed.

For anyone thinking of opening a PTSB account, things you should know as I have gotten caught out badly today. The maximum transaction value on a PTSB Visa debit card in €2500. I have tried to buy some parts in the UK and cant make payment.
I then tried to set them up as a Payee but because they are in the UK, I have to drive 45 minutes into Galway to set the Payee up in the branch and 45 minutes back. I CANT BELIEVE IN 2025 THAT THIS IS HAPPENING WITH AN ONLINE BANKING SERVICE. PTSB, ARE YOU FOR REAL??????

Shocking service. Tried to call them regarding a suspicious transaction on my account and was waiting for almost an hour before I had to hang up. Calling them a second time now, and it seems it may be the same scenario. Pity about them having to do their job and answer the phone.

I keep getting an error 400 for a few days now I tried ringing the open24 number kept getting told please have your no to hand nearly drove me insane no one answered if the lines are not manned on a bank holiday the automated service should say that instead you are left on hold either that or all the staff have their feet up today while in work no one answering calls

In USA and for 10 days have not been able to access my accounts either through app or website. Not good enough when I still have banking responsibilities to take care of.

If I could give it zero I would. Genuinely the worst app ever constantly breaks down

5 stars for whoever I spoke to today. Not only did she get my PTSB app working, she also fixed all the issues I was having with my phone! So knowledgeable, patient and kind. I hope the rest of the company can follow suit.

Again. Their PTSB App fails to load and has again let me down when I needed to use it quiet urgently..Cannot depend on it . Very unreliable and also PTSB have the highest Variable Mortgage rates in the country and unlike other lenders ,they seem to be not coming down anytime soon as they should...A sham of a bank.

Extremely poor service. I'm unable to log in to online banking through both the app and the website browser for a week now. I am overseas currently. This level of unreliability is unacceptable for a bank. I strongly advise others to report this to the Financial Ombudsman, as the bank is failing to meet its service obligations—despite customers paying monthly fees for access.

This app is shocking, cannot log on 80% of the time, you have to keep trying. Cannot rely on this app particularly if you are out and about and want to check balance or make transfer.

Where would you start, website will not connect - ever..!. The App works once in a while and will crash once connected. The IT infrastructure must be literally falling apart. My wifes card was blocked while away and they answer was to use the Website chat, which she cannot do because ----- the website is not reachable. Only that our mortgage is with these cowboy's, Id be gone in a shot.

App is always down, usually at the time your trying to make payments. Codes don't get sent half the time to make online payments. And you can't submit an online complaint without error messages coming up, overall a very expensive bank for poor service.

It is ridiculous,i just want to talk customer service or incharge of mortgage regarding my mortgage statement certificate. Its been a month no response in email, no access. I can’t fly due to my condition after stroke. No staff can help you.its all online and AI nobody can talk if you need help and you are outsideIreland. The system needs true person that can help.

This is the second long weekend that I cant log into my online banking to even transfer money across. It's a disgrace I had to leave all my messages in tesco at the checkout.
So embarrassing and then today had to leave my items in penny's.
Not good enough. And it makes you think it's a error in your own phone connection

Outdated, never works never answers the phone.

WEBSITE NEVER WORKS!!!! I cannot log in to download a statement for over 3 weeks, it is constantly down. I can't even check if i have been paid today.

Joke of a bank. Cant get credit due to spending. Like i cant spend my earned money. Earning 60k a year 10 years banking with them dont have access to 10k credit. Switching bank asap.

The PTSB app is terrible. Ongoing issues with not being able to log-in and constantly getting "Timeout Error" messages when there is no scheduled maintenance. Also unable to access the website to try log-in online. Very frustrating, and slightly worrying that we are unable to access our money when we need to. No updates from staff which is incredibly unhelpful. Would not recommend this bank or the app - avoid!

It's been 2 days now since I cannot log in to my account, the app and website is down.. I didnt get any email or notice saying it'd happen, I need to access my account asap!
