Hi Elaina,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. We’d like to clarify that Pawidols is not a scam. Our contests have clearly defined prize structures, and prizes are awarded according to the final results and the applicable Global or regional ranking. Cash prizes are awarded based on the Global ranking, while regional placements receive bonus votes that can be used in future contests. These rewards and the prize structure are displayed on the contest page so participants can see what each placement is eligible to receive. We understand that the difference between Global and regional rankings can sometimes cause confusion. If anything about your ranking, prizes, or the contest rules is unclear, please reach out to our support team. We’ll be happy to review your specific situation and provide clarification.

Helps feed shelter or homeless dogs!
I enter a picture of my dog in the ‘26-27 calendar photo contest and he won! My dog, Cash, is now Mr February! No purchase was necessary to enter the contest. I did end up buying one anyway and the calendar was promptly delivered which was great. Now Cashew is in the dog photo contest, at this point he in #1 in Alabama and #52 globally. Keep my fingers crossed that he will win some prize in this contest! This is a fun thing to do and any money spent goes to feeding shelter dogs which is great! I’ll keep playing the contest hoping my boy will be a winner!

I had never even heard of the contest…
I had never even heard of the contest until my daughter entered her pup, Harley and my grand daughter entered her puppy Chloe. I thought it was kinda fun watching my baby Fritzy move up in the ranks. My grandson even entered his pup Rocky. We had fun voting for each other's dogs. I even voted for some dogs that didn't have any votes and they ended up with just the one vote I gave them. I tried to let their owners know they could vote for them but it didn't work. Anyway I am going to enter her again and hope she makes it to the top once again. Thanks for the fun and competition for this old 75 year old woman. I can't afford to buy her votes so she has to get them legitimately but we'll try again anyway.

Hi Sue,
Thank you so much for sharing your story with us! It truly made us smile to read about your whole family getting involved—from Harley and Chloe to Rocky, and of course, sweet Fritzy. Moments like these are exactly what make our community so special. We're so glad the contest brought your family together for some fun, friendly competition, and it was especially heartwarming to hear that you even took the time to vote for pets who hadn't received any votes yet. That kindness says so much about you. We can't wait to see Fritzy back in another contest, and we'll be cheering her on every step of the way. Thank you for being part of the Pawidols family, and for making our community brighter with your kindness and enthusiasm.

Interesting that Sandra Kay Johnson’s pup is January 2027 pet of the month. The calendar layout I received shows my Doberman, Roman, as January 2027 pet for the month. Looks like a scam of sorts to me!

Hi Lyn,
Thank you for taking the time to share your concern. We completely understand why this might seem confusing at first, but don't worry, this definitely isn't a scam. There are only 12 months in a calendar, while we select more pets than there are available months from the thousands of wonderful submissions we receive. Because of that, it's completely normal for different calendar editions to feature different pets in the same month. Roman's selection is genuine and isn't affected by another selected pet appearing in January in a different edition. Congratulations again on Roman's achievement, and thank you for being part of Pawidols!
