This is just a money driven contest
In reply to Pawidols answer. I did send an email on your app and informed you, I got no reply and nothing was done until I posted my review.
This is just a money driven contest. You need to make large purchases for votes. The company running the contest do not verify the pets are in their right demographics such as the cat at #1 in Nevada lives in Nebraska. The owner posted the info in the comments and the officials have done not changed it. Many times there have been pets with more than one entry which is against the rules. I will no longer enter my pets into this contest.

Hi Teresa,
Thank you for telling us. You're right that a pet should compete in the state where it lives. The owner mentioned their real state only in a comment on the pet's page, and we missed it. The listing is now in the correct state. If you spot a pet in the wrong state or entered more than once, please email the links to contact@pawidols.com. Our team sees every email, while comments on entry pages can easily slip past us. Vote packages are always optional, and free votes are open to everyone every day. We're sorry this has put you off, and we'd welcome the chance to make it right.

Top winners have horrible pictures
Many of the top people have pictures barely visible. That's sad that people would spend money to win a small amount more. I looked at the top 3 and you can barely see the cat. This is a scam and really? What morons would spend that kind of money just for a cat vote for their worst pic of their cat? This is such a scam and so ridiculously pathetic.

Hi Danielle,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand that everyone has different opinions when it comes to the photos submitted, and we appreciate you taking the time to share yours. Participants choose and submit their own pet photos, so photo quality can vary. What’s important is that the photo features their actual pet and follows our rules, including our policy against AI-generated images. A photo doesn’t need to be professionally taken to participate or receive votes. Purchasing votes is also completely optional, with free voting available throughout the contest. We appreciate your concern and wish all of our wonderful pets the best of luck.

Hi Elieen,
Thanks for bringing this up! Some participants may use filters or effects on their photos, which is okay as long as the photo still shows their real pet and natural appearance. Completely AI-generated photos, however, are not allowed. If you ever have any concerns about a photo, feel free to reach out to our support team, and they’ll be happy to look into it and take care of it. We appreciate you helping us keep the contest fun and fair for everyone!
