Long lines at exit and hidden fees

It is quite confusing the first time you use this service. We have noticed this entire year that there are a lot of people that aren't getting their information into the system prior to leaving the garage (likely because they are confused or worried about getting their validation applied properly). This is causing huge delays to exit the garage. It seems to me that you could do better at educating how to use the new parking tool and how to apply validations, etc. I suspect this will get better over time as more people get their information into the system. In addition, we saw a $1 increase in fees for the garage this year and then found out we have another $1 processing fee through parking.com. I suspect that parking.com is charging the garage owners $1/car to run their service and then charging the customers an additional $1/car for the service. I'm sorry, but there is no way that the software you developed warrants a $2 increase per person using the garage. We don't have any other ways to pay for the parking than through your service, so this seems really disingenuous. When you take into account that it takes anywhere from 30 min to 1.5 hours to exit the garage now, the service you are providing doesn't warrant the additional cost.

The worst parking experience ever.

This was the worst parking experience ever.

I was parked on the 4th floor of the garage. After a theatre performance, we expected to have a bit of a wait, because there were many cars who needed to pay and leave. We did not expect to have to wait more than 90 minutes to depart. The problem appeared to be some patrons' understandable difficulty in navigating the ridiculously complicated technology needed to make payment.

Once we finally reached the two exit booths, the car in front of us spent another 10 minutes -- with an employee -- trying to make the tech work. Multiply that delay by dozens, and you see the problem.

There was a complete lack of common sense. Just take the $11 in cash or via simple credit card -- better than forcing scores of cars to sit in frustration for so long.

I will never park again at that facility.

First and last time using this.

Company Wouldn't Respond

I had a paid SpotHero reservation, but the scanner at the parking garage wouldn't register the QR code. The attendant told me that texting the number on the scanner would work. I had to do that going in and out and a few days later, I got another bill for parking from this company. I tried to contact the company, but no one responded.

Vandalism while parked in the garage

I unfortunately experienced car vandalism while parked at this location. I parked for 18 hours. Upon leaving, I noticed that the rear passenger wheel had been tampered with. I called to try to locate a person and was not able to do so until late that night, I was told there was nothing that they could do. I also still paid the full price for parking.

Expensive and Long wait times to exit

Way too expensive and takes excessive time to get through exit, both times I used the lot, it required the attendant to get online and took at least 5-10 mins. Unfortunately, its the closest public parking at the Grand Hyatt, use Valet if you have the option and avoid this garage

I have been receiving text messages…

I have been receiving text messages since being forced to use this system to exit the parking garage about unpaid parking despite having charges on my credit card statement. Further more, clicking on the link and going to the site to find someone to contact is not user friendly. This system is trying to scam people!

Charged $51 for 30min parked…

I parked for 30min in the parking garage and was charged $51 when I left. I called customer support and they didn’t seem to be able to answer why I was charged so much. They said they would refer my information to a different department who would contact me the following day. It’s been 4 days and I have not been contacted regarding the issue.

Advance payment is convenient

It was very convenient to pay in advance and get a little discount. Having the QR code made entering and leaving very quick. I was concerned about estimating entry times because incidents on the ferries and bridges in the Puget sound area of WA can complicate travel time to Seattle. But all worked out well.
