No words! Moribund!

There are no words to describe the delivery driver we had. No words. Clearly had no people skills and took his anger out on a female all caught on ring doorbell. He was only asked ‘are you leaving it there’ by a builder on site at our home (all caught on ring doorbell) and all hell broke loose! My 7 year old daughter heard it all and was upset as some one was shouting at her mum. Refused to give his name and was abrasive and clearly just wanted an argument. ‘I’m not of afraid of any one he quipped! ‘…

After reading many reviews it isn’t a surprise that this behaviour is generally the norm. If the company don’t hold their staff accountable for their actions customers will continue to suffer the same poor service. Very sad in this day and age!

Unpredictable & Rude

They were supposed to deliver my gravel order on April 6th. However by 16:30 I still hadnt received the order. I called the gravel company who then contacted palletforce. Palletforce didnt contact the gravel company to inform of non delivery. I them had to take another day of work so that I was in to take receipt of the deliver the following day. I was informed that is delivery would arrive between 8am to 10am. However again it didnt arrive. It finally arrived at 12:39, when I questioned the driver he was very rude.

A big thank you for going above and…

A big thank you for going above and beyond my expectations. The manual handling of a pallet of garden supplies would have been very hard for me to manage. However without hesitation the delivery driver offered to place the pallet exactly where I needed it to be, manoeuvring his trolley carefully and considerately. Ref. CED0898

Shocking business

Shocking business. I made multiple claim for damages goods in transit in Sep and Nov last year and they're still not resolved despite multiple emails and phone calls. I've been passed around multiple people and have chased and chased for answers. In my experience, they also seem to have turnover of staff too. Avoid at all costs until they improve.

The driver who delivered a ton of…cotswold cream

The driver who delivered a ton of cotswold cream to me thursday 19/2/2026 was a proper gentleman ,he was so friendly and accommodating ,he put the gravel exactly where we wanted it with a smile and a chat ,its really nice to meet such people thankyou

Worried at First, but Palletforce Delivered a Great Experience

I was a bit worried about using Palletforce at first. My delivery was late, so I came to Trustpilot to check reviews and, honestly, reading some of them made me nervous — people mentioned rude customer service, lost parcels, and delays lasting weeks. Because of that, I decided to call them myself to find out what was going on.

I expected the call to be difficult or unhelpful, but it was actually the complete opposite. My call was answered within seconds, and the customer service team were friendly, professional, and reassuring. They clearly explained that my delivery would arrive slightly later than expected and confirmed everything was still on schedule.

Shortly after the call, the driver contacted me directly and said he would arrive within 15 minutes — which he did. The driver was very friendly and delivered the pallet exactly where I asked. He explained that he had been delayed at a commercial delivery earlier because he had to wait for access keys to different locations, which took over an hour and a half for a single drop.

My parcel arrived in perfect condition, thanks both to the careful handling and the sender’s excellent packaging — the wooden frame and plastic wrapping kept everything very secure.

Overall, despite the initial delay and my concerns after reading reviews, my personal experience with Palletforce turned out to be very positive. Friendly customer service, a helpful driver, and a safe delivery made all the difference.

Delivery of bulk bag of pebbles

Pallet force delivered a bulk bag of pebbles to my home. Customer service was able to advise me of the time of arrival, and the courier was both polite and accommodating, placing the pallet where I wanted it.

Brilliant service, other reviews had me seriously worried

I was worried having read previous reviews but need not have been. Bath was delivered securely wrapped early this morning. 3rd party courier was friendy and helpful despite negotiating very busy road and parked cars and was able to trolley bath on pallet to just outside front door thank you!

Gas Fire Delivery …

On 23/1/26 we were awaiting a delivery of an expensive gas fire. I telephone the fire company on the morning of the 23rd asking would it be possible to have an eta either morning or afternoon. The lady said it had left the depot and the driver would call with a time window. This was not forthcoming. At 2.30 pm a wagon came down the road and parked at the top of the drive. Our intention was,once we knew the time, to move the cars off the drive. My husband spoke to him and said, we didn’t know when you were coming. His reply, I have between 3-6 so I’m early that’s ok isn’t it. My husband’s reply, no not really as we don’t have that information. The driver lowered the heavy fire from the wagon on a trolly, which he proceeded to bring to the top of our long drive. He said I can’t get it down for the cars. My husband said I’ll move the car. While he was moving it out watched by the driver I might add. He put the trolly back on the wagon closed the back and drove off. We were left with no other option, but the two of us to try and fathom out a way of getting this down the drive. When I say this was extremely heavy is an understatement. We found a round thing on casters that we use to move plant pots. I don’t know how we did it, and to make things worse it had a wooden pallet screwed to the base. We were terrified it was going to fall off and break it cost us £4,000. Eventually after about half hour unboxing it on the steep we lifted it in. I’ve got to say without a doubt this is the worse service I have ever encountered. I rang the fire supplier straight away they couldn’t believe what had happened, but more to the point we hadn’t been informed of the time window. I’m afraid if they are going to carry on using this complaint there will be a lot of unhappy customers. I actually didn’t even want to give this a star rating as it isn’t worthy of one at all

Driver said he was arriving between…

Driver said he was arriving between 3-4pm arrived at 4:40pm and decides to park half way down the street and walk up an oncoming traffic road at the start of rush hour pushing a pallet with 18 packs of flooring on it instead of just parking directly out front the door and making it easier and safer for himself and the drivers, was quite rude when phoned to ask where he was at 4:10 after him phoning me and 2:30 to say he would be there between 3-4pm

Forklift drivers talk to drivers like dirt

At the Burton-on-Trent hub, the attitude of several forklift drivers towards HGV drivers is genuinely shocking. The way they speak to people is rude, patronising and completely unnecessary. There is also no direction or proper control from the moment you enter the premises — drivers are being sent into the wrong lanes, stuck there for an hour, then told to move again because someone finally realises they’re in the wrong place. It’s chaotic and badly managed.

This place is one of the few that genuinely makes me consider leaving the industry. Other drivers feel exactly the same. Some are having to bite their tongue to avoid reacting when they’re spoken to like dirt. You keep talking to lorry drivers like that and one day you’ll mouth off to the wrong person — especially if you come across an ex-soldier HGV driver or a feisty polish Eastern European Bloke who won’t take that kind of behaviour from anyone.

All people want is to be spoken to like human beings, not barked at in a patronising, aggressive manner by someone who clearly can’t manage the queue properly or communicate basic instructions.

Tonight, the only member of staff who acted professionally was the young lad managing the queue near bay D6 — polite, respectful, helpful and giving clear direction. Credit where it’s due: he was the only one doing his job properly.

On the other hand, the forklift driver running the opposite queue was the exact opposite — aggressive, confrontational and trying to act like the school bully. That “steroid-freak” attitude doesn’t make you look tough. Big bully types always fall the hardest. Perhaps some remedial training on how to speak and respect people and communicate proper would be a good idea 👍 bad management

I had a pallet of Engineered Wood…

I had a pallet of Engineered Wood flooring delivered with visible damage to the flooring. The driver did not ask for any signature or give me any paperwork but stated he would advise his company that damage was visible.
I then contacted the supplier who lambasted me that I had not signed stating damage and as such would not accept the damage!!
So much for common decency

One of the worst companies

One of the worst companies I have had the misfortune to use . I purchased an item through eBay . No notification of intended delivery day either through their tracking website (not updated) or text or email etc. instead the driver called while he was on my drive with the item . Unfortunately no one was at home - as there was no notification of delivery day . I called pallet force that evening and was told sender would be charged for re delivery (about £100!) and redelivery would be made next day between 9am and 5pm . I phoned at 4pm and was told item was not being delivered that today . No contact call or text for the whole day , tracking website still shows as “out for delivery”. due to the mess around I am now asking for a refund of item from seller. Too much inconvenience to deal with pallet force .

Top class service

Just had a bulk bag of cotswold chippings delivered by palletforce from gravel Master. Well what a fantastic service. Ordered the night before and arrived mid day the next day. Andy the driver went above and beyond bringing the pallet as close to house as possible. As the driveway is around 250 ft to the house. Thanks again palletforce. Top class service 👏

Un-palletable performance

The delivery driver was unhelpful, condescending and constantly referred to me as his friend, even though his tone suggested he knew that he wasn't. He refused to help me unload the pallet and left it in the street. Once I had removed the statues from the pallet he finally realised that he would be in trouble leaving it in the road so took it with him but he left the packing material strewn across the road. The online tracking says that I signed for the consignment but I definitely didn't so I assume that my signature was forged. Awful experience from start to finish.

Avoid any company that uses Palletforce!!!!

Palletforce are rubbish, specifically the depot in South Wales. Customer services cannot get hold of them half the time & when they do they give nonsense guarantees, which they won’t deliver. Days wasted waiting around for these cowboys.

Completely unreliable

Unfortunately we had a very poor experience. Delivery was supposed to be between 9am and 12pm and the three pallets finally turned up at 2.30pm, completely ruining our day. When the depot was contacted at 11.15am we were told that the driver was held up at his current call and that delivery would be between 1pm and 3pm which
we knew meant it would be closer to 3pm. When the driver turned up we asked him if he had been held up and he had no idea what we were talking about. So not only do they provide an unreliable service but they also lie to cover their tracks so unfortunately this is the first and the last time we will be using their services.

Typical ........

As so often happens with courier companies the reviews largely are a result of the reviewers' experience with the driver. Having read the reviews after being advised by Sloane & Sons that the garden bench which had been on order for 4 months was finally due for delivery by Pallet Force I was somewhat fearful, particularly as our location is at the end of a fairly narrow driveway in a small coastal village in Cornwall. To hopefully aid and assist I provided comprensive location details as well as advising that a small delivery vehicle would be necessary. Typically these details were ignored and the driver was sent off in an 18 ton lorry which even his despatcher said would be impossible to get down the drive... but off you go...tick a box...dump the pallet somewhere perhaps??.....fortunately however the driver was a five star Cornishman, determined to complete his mission and following his telephone call to me for more location details (as none of the information already provided had been passed to him ) he succesfully made the delivery. Fortunately everything was intact & undamaged but it does beg the question as to why established professional suppliers such as Sloane & Sons continue to use hopelessly inefficient careless clueless disinterested couriers..... do they not read the reviews....or don't they care???
