Ordered an xbox controller from a branch, 1st issue was i was charged twice for the item via paypal. had to open a case to get that refunded.

item did not show up within the time frame had to chase the branch up for tracking which was then shown to have been sent to the wrong area completely, messaged them countless times only to get one reply and ignored. Which forced me to then open another paypal case to get my money back, all in all terrible.

i have ordered other items from branches and they have been as advertised so a blip on an otherwise decent experience.

Went to use this site but they've gotten rid of paypal. I cannot really recommend this site without some form of protection for when things go wrong (Because unfortunately, they do a lot with this website.) There have been times when I would have been out of luck had Paypal not intervened and rectified the situation. While some of their stores (Barry being a good one) are decent, honest stores. There are many who take no effort in testing the items they buy and then sell onwards, leaving you with faulty or even completely wrong products. Their customer service is like their testing team - non existent, or are quick to put the blame on you, no matter how much proof you send them that they're at fault. So without these additional protections of Paypal, you would be left contacting your bank should things go wrong, and from my own personal experiences, I can promise you it happens more often than it should. It's a shame that I can no longer trust this website, as I felt they were competitive and fair with their pricing, but without that extra layer of protection, the bad actors that OWN4Less continue to allow to sell on their site will rip you off and leave you high and dry when things go wrong.

Website constantly down technical team need replaced if it takes them from Friday to Tuesday and still don't fix basic check out issue Lauren that replies is unhelpful and just says no problem when you want to complain no help at all lies about when it will be fixed having to go through my bank via chargeback as they take money then disabled the check out so no more payments can be made meaning the purchase is never complete avoid this company it's gone down hill definitely won't be use it again if I could give a no stars rating I would.

Excellent service. I ordered a Yamaha RGX A2 guitar using Own 4 Less, (from Regenerate, Barry) It arrived VERY quickly, extremely well packaged and as described. I'll definitely purchase through Own 4 Less again

New website sucks. They have also taken away the option to pay with PayPal. Safe to say, I will no longer be using this website.

EDIT: For clarity, getting rid of Paypal is a huge red flag. I've used OWN4Less enough to know that some of their stores are bad actors. Do not test items and will happily ship a broken item out and then blame the customer for it. While not every store, this was common enough to the point I had to get PayPal involved quite a few times. Without that, I would have had to file multiple cashback requests with my banking institution, which I know for some would not be worth the effort. I do fully believe this is perhaps why OWN4LESS has removed their PayPal option, that, or PayPal had enough claims against OWN4Less that they removed themselves from them personally. But either way, this is a huge red flag, and given my own experiences, I can no longer support this business without those added protections.

I purchased a power tool from then which stopped working after it's third use. The tool was £300.

I called to tell them and they said it's out of warranty. There was no offer of goodwill or help offered.

I regret not purchasing the tool brand new from a shop that has a little customer service or at least one years warranty on electricals.

Purchase date 7th may. First use was the beginning of July and it broke on 10th or July.

Excellent product and at a bargain price! Ordered a PS5 Slim form the Hereford store, was exactly as described, works a dream and unlike other companies (like the DREADED CEX!), it was at a reasonable price!

What is wrong with companies these days? I placed an order for Crisis Core Final Fantasy Reunion, it should have arrived Monday, its now Wednesday with the order nowhere in sight. Going to the Own4less website and clicking on the "Contact Us" link just leads to a broken page with no contact information at all so I can't even try to chase the order up and when using the provided 48hr tracking number on the Royal Mail website all I get is "We're expecting it" followed by "The sender has advised they have despatched your item to Royal Mail. More information will be available once we have received your item and scanned it into our network." If this doesn't arrive by tomorrow I'm filing a claim with Paypal. Absolutely not using these people again and considering reporting them to Trading Standards. Would strongly advise against anyone else using these people.

EDIT: I have since been refunded after doing some manual legwork to find a support email for own4less which is; support[at]own4less[dot]co[dot]uk, however the broken "Contact Us" page on their website still does not set a good impression. I adjusted my score accordingly.

I've used the site OWN4LESS a few times but i feel most of the stores on their are very misleading, they seem to use old stock photos of products in good condition, but send any old junk they have insotck at the point of order? regardless of the condition being inline with what you believe your actually buying?

I ordered 3 items, but was faulty and doesn't work! Not has advertised, as in good working order! I cant get a response direct from the store, Which i will be escalating tomorrow.

item number 2 canalled refunded, no explanation!

the 3rd item faulty cracked headset broke sensor, NOTHING like what was advertised in the picture, actually very well packed, but of course blame "Damage in transit" Even though their was no damage to the box and a lot of bubble wrap was used! I've had a response but all i get is.. Explain yourself! I think I've already done that, don't you! Clearly this is not going to be an easy return, so I'm not wasting anymore time with your store Regenerate Kidderminster. Legally escalated!

So out of the 5 items I purchased, 3 have serious problems. That is 60% problems out of my total order.

Extremely pleased with my Robocop Trilogy Blu-ray. It was less expensive than elsewhere, in excellent condition, arrived speedily and had the name of the person who packed it. A nice touch. I would use Own4Less again and recommend them to others.

I was hoping to get the Bradford Exchange Ford Capri watch but they seem to be no longer taking on new sales. I was disappointed and no one seemed to be selling it. A google search suggested Own4Less. The listing was detailed and pointed out 'minor' blemishes.
Payment was easy, linking to the seller and cheaper than expected. Other sellers on other sites do try to bump up the price.
Delivered by return of post and well packed.
Very Happy. I am already looking at what else might be available.

I ordered some Sunagor Zoom Binoculars and the retail at much more than I paid I was over the moon with my purchase but I got the item next day so I am very happy with my purchase.

Ordered a Orskey S900 dashcam from them arrived in perfect condition and two days early. I only really needed the suction mount but Orskey absolutely useless for Customer service nothing but broken promises. So I now have a new suction mount and backup camera.
