To all PCO drivers out there before you take a car frpm otto car make sure you check if it is working properly and check pervious damage history. If not they will charge you for any repairs and time you had a broken car. They just took £1400 from my card and now i am on the vergr of being homeless as i am beind on all my bills. Terrible company and service. I suggest going to Hertz or Splend.

I was served by Abu today at the Streatham branch when collecting my vehicle. I want to say he has excellent patience and demeanour with my situation. I am Deaf and need time when being dealt with. He was patient and understand. He was helpful and professional. He explained everything to me clearly and still gave me additional advice as I am a new private hire driver. This is an absolute joke of a company, hired a vehicle short term on a part time basis, vehicle had its MOT and Vehicle inspection due during this period.

As I was on an allowance of 400 weekly, this was part time basis, to take the car to one of their test centres which are in London and me being in Luton they said to me that it will be deducted from my weekly allowance.

They said get it done locally and we will reimburse you the amount which was £50. Now they are saying we only give up to £40 if you had it done from another garage.

It’s taken about 20 calls to get my deposit back and 3 weeks of going back and forth.

You will be making the biggest mistake for taking a vehicle off them believe me when I say that and you’ll be thanking me later

Otto car pricing is wonderfully competitive and good value BUT that is where the plaudits end ..
I have a damaged boot glass that I can only contact service through email that has me in a 48 HR queue before a response. When they eventually did respond the email TOLD ME THE SITUATION WAS RESOLVED???? Any news there queries should be emailed no doubt for another 48hr response to their lack of response and action on the initial broken book glass. I am losing money over this issue as a Bolt driver and there is no doubt there will be NO DELAY WHEN OTTO ASK FOR THEIR HIRE FEE FOR THE WEEK..
Another time before the MG I got had an electrical fault on a Sunday around 1am and no one answered the Emergency Service until after 5am then taking 1hr 30 min to get to me.
Basically... GO ELSEWHERE FOR A BETTER SERVICE BECAUSE THATS HOW THEY ROPE YOU IN FROM THE CHEAP PRICING.

Very bad customer service, was ill for a few weeks, asked for some leeway, but nope. No one to talk to in credit department. Just automated messages on WhatsApp. Zero help and very unclear.

I have been with otto for 3 years and they used to be a great company but since getting bigger their level of service has drastically gone down. It's hard to reach the customer services & it's nearly impossible to reach accounts they have to call u.
They have lost that personal touch they had now they have staff in a different country picking up the calls

They deactivate drivers without any prior notice from the uber platform.

Otto car he has rubbish customer service the guy there is a rubbish. Ask me to pay £700 because I scratched the wheel after two years. I keep the car and change my contract. I suggest no one take Car.from Otto
