Delighted with rear wheel carrier
Saw the ORE wheel carrier in Land Rover Weekly and having done a bit more research it quickly became clear it was the best solution around. It’s pricing but there is a reason for that - it’s a high quality product.
The fitting was a bit daunting, but in reality it turned out to be very straightforward. Just took my time and also watched the video by Boris The Defender on YouTube and that was very helpful.
All in all, extremely pleased with the outcome and a worthwhile investment - over time I’m sure my door / hinges would have given up.

Amazing lights
I’ve got a 1985 defender 110 and got no rear lights so I wanted to be able to see behind myself. And I got 2 work lights with a wiring loom and it’s amazing!

ORE spare wheel carrier.
Great piece of kit, looks like it'll outlast the rest of the Landy. Excellent customer service as well. Not cheap but well worth it.

Great piece of kit (wheel Carrier) but you must read the instructions completely.Delivered well packaged, great finish to the product and I guess you get what you pay for so it won’t be needing any cosmetic attention for a number of years.

Top Quality
Ordered the wheel carrier via the website, it arrived promptly and very well packaged. The quality of the parts and fixings are first class. The instructions are clear and there's videos on the web to help too. The carrier is fixed via existing holes in the rear cross member. It takes a while to line everything up and you really need two people, one to hold it in place the other to tighten the fixings. My Defender has the TMD rear door hinges and the ORE wheel carrier fits with these OK.

Quality of the highest standard
I have bought many a product from ORE and am yet to be disappointed! The quality of the products is at a level that I haven’t yet seen in other land rover products and most notably, the quality of the fixings meets this standard which many manufacturers forget about. The designs in my opinion are some of the best on the market and the powder coating is really as good as the website says it is. I would 100% recommend ORE products as they are worth the price and the fact they are British and offer great customer service just seals the deal for me.

I can still see the lights when I close my eyes
Fitted a light bar and x2 reverse lights to the Defender.
Used an ORE wiring loom for the light bar and made my own for the reverse lights so that they worked on both reverse and also on their own with a 3 way on-off-on switch.
Really fantastic quality and so bright! Reverse lights are very discreet.
