I had a brilliant experience with re-glazing my old frames
I had a brilliant experience with Optically. My prescription has changed a lot recently and so I decided to get my old frames re-glazed with my latest prescription. It was much cheaper to do this with Optically that it was at my local opticians (I shopped around). The Optically process was simple and their communication was great. I am happier with my re-glazed glasses from Optically than I am with my ones from Specsavers and OPSM. As such, I am planning to get some of my other old frames re-glazed with Optically :)
I'm ordering a second pair as I'm very happy
I'm ordering a second pair of multifocal glasses as I'm very happy with my first pair. The customer service, prompt fitting and fast supply were appreciated, and I'd recommend Optically.com.au to my friends.
Some challenges but happy overall!
The glasses are perfect and I found the website easy to navigate and use. The one problem was that because I have a higher prescription they had to contact me afterwards to pay more which was at first quite off-putting. However the customer service team has been friendly and responsive, and I'm happy to order with them again.
Do not use them
Ordered glasses online and immediately problems began. The time frame promised never eventuated. The frames I ordered wre not actually available. I had a time frame I needed the glasses by which their website promised was within the required timeframe.
After repeated emails questioning where my glasses were I received mail that frames had to be changed to meet the deadline. I changed the frames, ordered the lenses and that's when the real problems began. The glasses arrived an hour before I had to leave for my flight. Trying the glasses on there was obviously problems with the lenses. I felt dizzy and couldnt get the glasses to focus without moving my head substantially.
I contacted them to send the glasses back for a refund to which they agreed. I had the glasses sent back. No refund. I had thankfully paid by Paypal and lodged a dispute to which they agreed to refund. I attached tracking information via paypal so knew when they had been delivered
I then received email saying seeing as though there was a dispute via paypal they could not refund until I closed the dispute. Not being stupid I refused as if you close a dispute you cannot go back and reopen it. They started with "oh, whats the tracking number" despite me advising them of tracking by email and via paypal.
This is a bunch of shonky operators. Ive purchased glasses online before from others without a problem. Avoid these people
This has gone from bad to worse with these people. They write nice emails about how much they care and want to help. Reality?? All lies. I am working through Paypal to get my funds released. Id suggest of you want to buy glasses of any kind to shop elsewhere
Your response has you bigger liars than you already are. The Tracking number was not only emailed to you it was sent to you via Paypal. The Tracking shows the goods as delivered. Now lets deal with some more of your lies shall we??

Soo you are processing a refund without the glasses back?? You are a liar. Whats worse is your demand to close the Paypal case. To the uninitiated, if the case is closed there is no recourse via paypal to re open the case.
These people are liars, cheats, charlatans and not to be trusted one iota.
You have received the glasses. Dont think i am going away as your nightmare has just begun.

Value for money
I had my glasses reglazed with multifocal, high index thin lenses with transitioning, and I am very happy with the product. The pricing is most reasonable for what I can find online. The service is also very good.
Brilliant service
Brilliant service, great communication. Second time using Optically and both times have been a wonderful experience. Great staff, great prices, great choices.
Would never buy from them again
Purchased a pair of glasses from optically .com.au. no communication from them during the whole process.Used to view the website to see what stage my glasses were at, it said processing for a week then in quality control also for a week then finally said they had been dispatched,after a week of them not showing up I go back to the website and check and it says in quality check. I finally rang them to see what was going on with my order. The contact number on their website would answer and say optically .com.au then just hang up. Tried the mobile number for eye appointments and finally got to speak to someone. Told me they would be dispatched in the next couple of days and that didn't happen. Rang back several days later and was told they would be dispatched the next day, which they were and they finally sent me a tracking no for the glasses.Glasses were ok but did not come with the carrera case just some cheap case with optically stamped on it. Overall I would rate there customer service as very poor and I certainly have no intention of ever buying from there again. This whole process took over a month from when I ordered ☹️☹️☹️

I did a lot of research on looking for glasses as they would be my first pair and I wanted to make sure I had the right type for me. A friend suggested I try the optically website and I was so glad I did. I had not only a wide selection to choose from but the support I got over the phone with concerns or queries were professionally addressed so I was very comfortable in the end with my decision. Highly recommend their product and service.

I placed an urgent order at the beginning of the week but on Thursday Joy contacted me to say they wouldn’t be able to complete the order because my chosen frames were out of stock. I explained that we were desperate and any simple black frame would do. Joy responded so quickly with 2 available options and organised to have them completed as quickly as possible. I picked them up the following night, from david at the lab, who stayed open later for me just so I could collect them!! The service optically provided was amazing! Both Joy and David were extremely professional and went above and beyond for us! We got the glasses just in time for my partner to use for a best man speech and will definitely order from optically again! They are the best and I can’t rate them high enough!!
Glasses arrived eventually — several downsides
I ordered glasses that were supposed to dispatch in 3 business days.
It had now been 7.
I ordered from optically.com.au for the speed of dispatching (vs a local optometrist).
Update: the glasses came. Based on the reply from optically, it looks like I selected glasses that did not include 3 day dispatch (I followed a Google ad with the 3 day claim — better website copy could be used to differentiate the glasses that are 3 day dispatch and those that aren’t).
The glasses are ok. They’re what you would expect for $50. They arrived after 3+ weeks from order (based on my AusPost tracking alerts, I don’t believe they were dispatched in 5 business days).
My review was flagged by Optically as non-genuine, which is not correct. It’s ironic considering they replied confirming I did have an order. I have supplied trustpilot with a proof of purchase.
Overall, happy I got the glasses, but a pretty poor experience overall (and very dodgy to flag my review optically).

I've bought a couple of pairs now, and as soon as I get my new prescription I plan to get another.
Glasses are good quality (I didn't get the cheapest frames though) and delivery was prompt.

Have been using them for a few years now. Good service. Quality work on the glasses. Prices are very value for money. My last set of glasses came in a cloth sleeve, no box. This is new and probably to do with cutting costs. Overall, much much better than the Optical stores selling overpriced generic glasses with no design! Go for Optically.

My glasses finally arrived today, from HK to Germany to UK
To be fair for £29 they are nice reading glasses, but the delay in delivery meant i had bought two pairs from my local optician for a lot more.
Yes i am happy and upgraded your star rating, but please be honest about the time scales, we need glasses for day to day tasks, so quoting five days to win an order when in fact is five weeks is unfair and unrealistic.
