Northern Lights Flight

I was excited to book this Northern Lights viewing flight from Birmingham for my partner and I. Pre- booking we were not made aware we had to first attend the pre-flight presentation at a hotel in Honiley, Kenilworth (and not at Birmingham International as we had presumed) and then make our own way to Birmingham airport from there afterwards. This means this excursion is not suitable unless you have someone to drive you!
A souvenir guidebook was offered for the price of £6 extra, but not being told to bring cash we were unable to get one.
We had to pre-book a carpark at the airport with a discounted booking code which was not explained properly as you were unable to input the correct exit time, this then mean't several phone calls to Omega to get this resolved.
On the actual flight you sit in darkness and have to rotate seats between 3 people taking turns to be able to view outside the plane from the window seat. We observed the stars one at a time, being clearly told to move seats after each person. We were not told to move seats again and patiently waited our turns to sit at the window to see the auora. The first person sat for ages until we heard the commentary that three views had been done, WE HAD NOT BEEN TOLD TO MOVE SEATS, and my partner and I had not seen out of the window as the same person had been sat there this whole time. We were told that luckily we were going round some more! so we got the person by the window to switch seats, we moved and my partner had a quick view, followed by myself. When I got to the window it just looked foggy, there was nothing more to see, I did not know what I was looking at or looking for and I was very, very disappointed.
On the way back were refreshments, I don't drink tea or coffee so was unable to get a drink, and the cheese sandwich I couldn't eat being wheat intolerant. Don't waste your money, it cost £500 for this flight for the two of us just to sit in a dark plane.

Our Northern Lights flights have been operating for a number of years now and are hugely popular. in all my time of working here - which is over 7 years - I have never read a review like this or had feedback about this tour in this way. if you would be happy to share your booking reference that would help me investigate your complaint a little more. I don't know who booked your trip to help me understand why information was / was not given at point of sale so any further information would be appreciated. The feeder bus was fab

The feeder bus was fab
Bus too london was ok not alot of space
Driver was going to fast on the motorway and far too close to cars infront
Commuication not great

Long travelling time to London

I enjoyed the time in London. However, the journey time from Leeds was too long. It involved 5 pickups from various small cities plus 1 40 minute break at a service station. The travelling time should have been much shorter!!!!

Glad you had a good time but we are sorry you gelt the journey time was too long. Coach travel can take a lot longer than normal car journeys, due to the pickups as you mention, along with our obligation to ensure legal driver breaks and time for customers to stretch their legs. We do hope you will give us another try. Great hotel, helpful staff. Albert Hall was awesome and despite restricted view seats we could see everything

Hotel at Stamford Bridge was…

Hotel at Stamford Bridge was excellent,good service and excellent breakfast.Only downside was that it wasn’t easy to access via public transport

Hotel room fine

Hotel room fine, breakfast good but parking too expensive to use. Seats for performance too far from the action, but luckily we were upgraded to nearer ones by the venue.

Seating was good

Seating was good, although last year's were better. Hotel is also good, clean, and the staff are very professional and attentive.
All in all another good experience with your company.
Have recommended you to friends and acquaintances.

Worth waiting to book on telephone
