Over promise and under deliver
NY State Solar is located in Hicksville NY. Although many solar companies are struggling in what is now a hostile federal government toward renewable energies, I found NY state exaggerates solar production. Salesmen pitch 25 year leases with figures that will never offset 100% PSEG electric bill. I have 12 years experience. Too many north side facing solar panels will never produce what they say.
I worked there 5 weeks, 3 weeks in sales, and was part of many meetings. The VP bragged how he made so many jokes that folks would sign up while laughing for a 25 year lease and never knew the monthly rate they would be charged.
When I asked too many direct questions asking about company accountability I was fired. They don’t like being challenged or questioned.
I doubt they survive much longer.
