Extremely Poor Experience with Nurul Umrah Travels / Al Raheem Travels LLC

I had one of the worst Umrah experiences in my life due to the mismanagement and dishonesty of Nurul Umrah Travels and Al Raheem Travels LLC. Here is a breakdown of the issues I faced:

Hotel Scam in Madinah: They promised a specific hotel in Madinah during booking, but upon arrival, they switched to a completely different, lower-quality accommodation without prior notice or consent.

Fraudulent Vaccination Certificate: They tried to scam us by offering a fake Yellow Fever vaccination certificate for $150 each, without any actual vaccination. This is highly unethical and

Extra Hotel Charges: They charged an additional $170 for an "extra night" because our flight arrived at 4 AM and we checked into the hotel at 7 AM—something that should have been pre-planned by a professional agent.

Cancelled Hotel Booking in Madinah: They canceled the Madinah hotel booking and claimed they arranged a replacement at an extra cost—again, without informing or consulting us beforehand.

Train Ticket Cancelled & Transport Lies: Our high-speed train tickets were canceled, and instead of providing two cars as promised for two families, they sent one overcrowded coaster van. This caused extreme inconvenience and discomfort.

Final Thoughts: Everything they promised, they failed to deliver. This agency is completely unprofessional, dishonest, and unethical. I strongly advise others to avoid Nurul Umrah Travels and Al Raheem Travels LLC to prevent your sacred journey from turning into a nightmare.

My name is Abdul Quddus, and I strongly advise others to exercise caution when dealing with Noor ul Umrah Travel.

Based on my experience, they present themselves as a U.S.-based company, but in reality, they appear to operate from outside the United States. The address listed on their website seems to be a virtual mailing address, which is misleading.

They also claim to be registered with the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah; however, I was unable to verify this, which raises serious concerns about their legitimacy.

Our group of 17 people booked a luxury Umrah package with them, but the experience was far from what was promised. We were charged an additional $4,500 on top of the original package under the name of “penalties,” without proper justification.

They initially promised first-row hotels near Masjid an-Nabawi, but just one day before arrival, the hotel was changed to a location much farther away. Additionally, our stay duration in Madinah was altered without our consent.

Several promised services were not provided, including:

No tour guide for Madinah and Makkah Ziyarah
No male or female Umrah guide, despite being promised
No Jeddah tour, which was part of the package

On top of that, tickets for three members of our group from Jeddah to Islamabad were never issued. Despite repeated calls and messages, the company did not respond or resolve the issue.

Communication and professionalism were extremely poor throughout. In particular, Mr. Qasim, who appears to be a key contact, was unprofessional, unresponsive, and difficult to deal with.

Overall, this was a very disappointing and stressful experience, especially considering the amount paid. I strongly recommend that others verify all claims, documentation, and services in writing before making any payments.

Very Bad Experience – Not Trustworthy
Booked Umrah for my family group of 20 people through Nurul Umrah. They charged us full package price, including flight tickets, but failed to provide proper arrangements.
At the last moment, I had to buy my tickets again out of my own pocket despite already paying them. There was no clear communication, no accountability, and no support—only excuses.
This caused unnecessary stress during a spiritual journey. Very unprofessional service.
Be careful before trusting this company.

Terrible experience. They did not deliver the promised services and seem to be scamming people using religious events for money.

My experience with nur ul umrah was truly excellent. Their team is highly professional , cooperative,and responsible. From booking to the entire journey, everything was managed very smoothly, the hotels ,transport, and ziyarat arrangements were all well organized.
I would highly recommend nur ul umrah to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy umrah service.😃

My Umrah experience was truly smooth and memorable thanks to Brother Ibrahim and Brother Abdullah. From the very beginning, they were extremely supportive, knowledgeable, and always willing to help. This company took my 70-year-old mother's money, deceived her about going on Umrah (minor pilgrimage), and then canceled the trip. They still haven't returned the money they took. May God hold them accountable.

The company collect money for services in the US and it makes pay again for the Same services in Saudi during Umrah. When you talk to their customer service group, they promised a refund on its way. They promise, they lie to you in your face and use Muslims greeting so you can believe them. They are so far from Islam and Muslim behaviors.
They are scamming people. Do not use them

Do not trust this Umrah travel agency. I could not find any physical office in Colorado. They took money and then stopped responding to calls and text messages. This experience has been very disappointing and unprofessional. Based on what I’ve seen, I would strongly advise others to be extremely cautious before booking.

Alhamdulilah I just by back from my umrah trip and this entire trip was amazing. Thank you to the entire team of Nurulumrah for making our sacred journey smooth. Transportation , hotels, ziyarats everything was great as promised. This was my 2nd time going with Nurulumrah and I will recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a stress free experience at the holy place. There is no compromise on comfort when we travel together as a family. We don't see the money ready to pay more and we did but with nurul umrah our experience was horrible. We always move together and try to get best hotel rooms as kids are with us. These ppl are not men of their words. After a long travel u want to get best room as possible but unfortunately it was totally against it. Room are small and not what we were expecting. We try to call them and got reply oh u got what u paid. Okkkkk. Then ziarah wasn't that places which we had promise. We paid more to get other rooms. I will never recommend Nurul Umrah company to travel for umrah. We as a family are very disappointed. No more business with this company.

I regret choosing this company. What was promised did not match reality at all. The accommodation was far below standard, and customer concerns were handled poorly.

Please do not trust this company at all. I made a huge mistake to trust them even seeing some bad reviews and they blamed it on the customers when i brought this up to them. Worst experience ever dirty nasty rooms when promised 5* hotel. Please do not trust anything they say.

This company have to be careful and tell the people the truth what the people want, and what they'll prepare for them during a travel, for example booking ticket date and time, how long stay during return and departure time as well as it should be clear how faraway the reservation hotel, how many people will be stay during the night at one room and what is the procedure for every day cleaning.
trust me there were a lot of people during the night in one bedroom and I never ever seen the cleaning, change the bed sheet. As well as the bed room had so bed smell, It isn't a bedroom looks like for human. I mean they didn't present any good service for us.

Allhumdolillah i returned safely from my umrah trip. You guys were always in my prayers during my umrah because you all take care about everything very smoothly. Whole team is supportive, professional and friendly. They always pick up my call whenever i need a guidance. They handled all tha logistics, allowing me to focus on my worship. The experience guides made our visit to the holy sites more meaningful. I had a spiritually uplifting experience.Thanks to thie all arrangements and services.
