Normie acted as the agent for the house we purchased in Whitefield. Right from the initial viewing to completion, myself and my partner have had a fantastic experience with Normie. Nicole the sales progression was absolutely on-it, when it came to chasing our (pretty poor) solicitors and was always incredibly helpful, quick to respond and understanding throughout. We also got a lovely framed picture showing our viewing, contract exchange and completion date from them when we came to collect keys. Thank you to the entire team for making a stressful experience, much less traumatic!

Nigel was very knowledgable on the local housing market and provide a realistic valuation which led to a quick sale. Nicole assisted with the completion keeping me up to date with the progress of the sale and dealing with issues that arose in a professional manner.

Normie were great to deal with throughout the entire process, from valuing the property to completion. They were approachable and helpful every time - both Nigel who took care of the sale and Nicole who saw to the practicalities through to completion.

We are first time buyers so came into this process not really knowing what to expect (other than house buying supposedly being one of the most stressful things you can do). And we’re so pleased Normie were our estate agents!! Jaymes and Nicole were brilliant right from the first viewing up until the day of completion. Nicole had both, what seemed like, ours and the sellers back as we dealt with a few mishaps with solicitors and further up the chain, and we’re so grateful for everything they did to get us in our first ever home! I used Normie for my recent house sale and from start to finish they were amazing. Natalie and Jaymes arranged the viewings and got me the right buyer. Nicole progressed the sale, and was always contactable , updated me on the progression ,and so friendly. Due to my onward chain, and my buyers using an online agency which were awful, the process was quite stressful but Nicole was absolutely brilliant at progressing the sale and reassuring me!She went above and beyond her role, and liaised with all parties to ensure the sale went through. Normie Estate Agents have been incredible, right from the day that Josh came to value my late sister in law's house until today when completion finally took place after a very long and drawn out probate situation. Nicole who is the most amazing person was with us every step of the way, communicating with both sets of solicitors in order to keep us informed. Our solicitors turned out to be totally inadequate so without Nicole we would have not known what was happening most of the time. She made what was a most stressful situation, more tolerable. I would highly recommend anybody needing an estate agent, to choose Normie.

Absolute p*** take. They expect full employment history, salary, pension details, contact details, information on current rent, emergency contact details, personal information (incl. nationality), full details of current landlord and current property BEFORE BEING ALLOWED TO VIEW A PROPERTY. This has to be repeated for every tenant. I am very happy to fill in a few details about myself before a viewing. But expecting people to take half an hour + to fill out this form before even being allowed to arrange a viewing is just ridiculous. Bunch of cowboys.

Over the past 12 years in Manchester we have dealt with a number of Estate Agencies and can honestly say that Normie & Co based in Prestwich are by far the best. They have been extremely responsive and supportive for the 2 years we have dealt with them whilst in our current rented property. They have also approached the current market inflation and knock on effect of rent increases sensitively and fairly. Caroline Sherwin in particular is an amazing asset to the company and the reason why we would recommend this agency to landlords and tenants alike. We can't thank her enough for her support over the years and her personable manner. Nothing is too much of an ask for her and we look forward to continuing in our tenancy for the next 2 years. From start to finish Nigel and Nicole were superheroes and went well over and above any estate agent I know in the industry. There is no way it would have got done without Nigel at the beginning and Nicole post sale all the way to completion. No hurdle was too high for them to get over and we won’t forget how much they helped us.

Nicole Bradburn was fantastic throughout the purchase of our first home and was instrumental in us getting the transaction over the line less than 2 months after our offer was accepted. We could not have asked for better and will certainly be seeking her services in the future.

When choosing which properties to view, the information provided is clear and easy to judge if we were wasting our time. The videos in particular made us smile while giving a good view of the property.
When looking for a property, their team including James were quick to get a judge of what we wanted, what we could afford and let us know what the sellers were looking for. This led to a buying process that was smooth with everyone feeling like they got a good deal.
When we switched from a competitor to them after a sale fell through, the sales team, especially Josh, bent over backwards to get our house on the market and sold as soon as possible and for the price we were looking for.
Their progression liaison service with Nicole is outstanding and is what makes this company better than the competitors in the area.
There was a chain, multiple levels of solicitors, estate agents and buyers/sellers to communicate with. Where as other companies wait to see what will happen, chasing things once per week maybe, Nicole is on top of it all. Especially as my husband and I are busy with full on jobs, to us she was worth her weight in gold.

I have to say my experience with Normie and Co. has been one of the best so far based on all the estate agents Iv previously used in the Prestwich and Whitefield area of North Manchester. From the initial viewing with Jaymes Magid it was clear the company wanted to provide the very best service possible for both the buyer and the seller, this alone felt very reassuring. Once my offer was accepted I was assigned ti a lady called Nicole Bradburn who is a sales progression specialist. Nicole was fantastic from start to finish of the entire conveyancing process. She was on hand to answer any questions I had, which helped put my mind at ease and on a couple of occasions arranged to let me into an additional viewing so i could take some floor plan measurements.

I don’t normally write reviews but on this occasion I thought it necessary.

I highly recommend Normie and Co if you are thinking of using an estate agent in the area. The staff are second to none.

Couldn't recommend Normie & Co enough. It was myself and my partners first house purchase so we were a bit overwhelmed and lacking in experience/knowledge when it came to buying a house and what to expect. After a number of viewings we found our house which we had completed a viewing for on a weekend. It wasn't allowing us to put an offer in on the online service so we were panicking we would miss out if we waited until the offices reopened on Monday. We reached out to Nigel and he went out of his way to respond to messages out of hours and to put through our offer for us to ensure we didn't miss out and kept communication going back and forward throughout the first few stages to ensure we knew what was needed which was brilliant and made things so simple. Nicole took over once the offer was accepted and solicitors info had been exchanged and her attention to detail, persistence in chasing up both parties solicitors to make sure everything was completed in a timely manner as well as the time she took to constantly keep us updated and in the loop as well as explain things that otherwise we wouldn't have known about was beyond what we could have asked for. Nothing was ever too much for anyone at Normie and it made our first purchase the least stressful it could be. Everyone was so friendly and eager to help and you could feel the genuine happiness they shared with us once the sale completed and they handed over the keys. They welcomed us with a lovely card, keep sake and a welcome box which was a beautiful little extra touch.

So glad we chose you guys and I would highly recommend anyone to choose them

Excellent service from Josh and the team. I'd never heard of a Sales Progressor before but what a fantastic idea. We nearly pulled out of this sale at one point but Nicole (Sales Progressor), was the reason this sale finally happened, keeping all parties informed and chasing slowing processes.

Would definitely deal with Normie again.
