We have been using Nomi (was Nomisma before) for around 3 years. We've tried various other accountancy and bookkeeping software.
We've found the level of service and communication as well as support the best in the industry. There's even a WhatsApp support group which is very responsive.
It's also very affordable with 'pay as you go' prices so great for anyone starting out new to try Nomi rather than paying hefty annual fees.
The other great thing about Nomi is that it is an end to end system which means from moment lead comes in to quote, contract, KYC, company secretarial, bookkeeping, payroll, pensions, VAT, CIS contractor returns, final accounts to CH and HMRC as well as SA/Partnerships can all be done in one place. Easier to reconcile everything.
Not come across anything else like it, especially with level of service and taking on improvement recommendations from customers and developing them. Great job, keep up the good work Team Nomi.

Nomi's software has proven to be consistently glitchy over the past three years, with frequent issues such as lag and an inability to work seamlessly. Despite infrequent use, the software has never operated smoothly. Additionally, Nomi recently removed access to its mail server for sending emails, exacerbating the user experience.
The documentation provided for setting up the SMTP server is outdated, and attempts to seek further assistance were unfruitful. The support team, while genuinely willing to help, could only attribute the issues to Microsoft permissions, despite my account holding the Global Admin role in Office 365.
Regrettably, it appears that Nomi/Nomisma has prioritized rebranding efforts over enhancing software functionality. Despite the initial potential the platform showed, it's evident that significant time and resources have been allocated to rebranding rather than addressing software shortcomings.
After three years of encountering persistent issues and witnessing a lack of commitment to improving the platform, I have decided to close my account. This decision is disappointing, given the platform's promising start.
I have been hesitant to provide my negative experience, but I believe it's important to share my experience.
In approximately 90% of cases, it is challenging to reach the helpline, and when urgent assistance is needed, it becomes even more difficult to find someone available.
The software frequently experiences lag, and unfortunately, it tends to happen when time-sensitive submissions are required. While I understand it's cloud-based, it would greatly benefit from improved speed rather than the constant spinning wheel.
The "validate CT600" process often feels like a gimmick, as it took around 5 hours the last time, and it only cleared after multiple follow-up emails.
There is also a recurring issue with rounding errors in the balance sheet, despite my efforts to address it through multiple emails.
I want to emphasize that the team is excellent, but there is room for significant improvement in the product.
Nomi has consistently amazed me with its continual introduction of user-friendly features, and the most recent addition, "Auto KYC," has had a profound positive impact on our customer relations.
Managing a clientele of over 6000 individuals poses challenges in keeping track of their identification documents and KYC renewals, which occur every few years.
Nomi has brilliantly addressed this issue by incorporating an Auto KYC feature directly into our CRM. This innovative tool automatically sends out reminder emails to our customers as their KYC expiration dates approach. These reminders prompt customers to renew their KYC information independently. Upon receiving these reminder emails, clients can seamlessly update their KYC documents and upload them directly into our system using personalized credentials.
This revolutionary feature not only minimizes the need for extensive email exchanges between clients and our data management team but also significantly reduces the time and effort required to collect and store customer KYC documents within our CRM.
Kudos to the Nomi team for introducing such brilliant features!

This is a very good software, it can be understood by anyone very quickly. Moreover, the support team also responds very fast.
Absolutely love using Nomi, the support is tremendous from the team.
The initial signing up process was quick and easy. Verification was quick and the set up was completed within 2 days.
The feedback from my client was that it was easy to make payment by card using the link within the invoice.
Once payment had been received the bookkeeping side was done automatically through Nomisma. It successfully marked that invoice paid and posted the relevant charges and the amount deposited to the account accurately.
I can see this feature as a great benefit to small business owners who want a hassle free way of taking card payments.
I am looking forward to the addition of direct debits as this will add another great feature to NomiPay.
Overall I am very impressed with the feature and can see that it will help businesses get paid quicker.
