Seem to be yet another person caught up in the "tell customers their item is delayed until its too late for a refund" scam these guys are running. Multiple emails promising the item is coming soon, then nothing.

I made a preorder a while ago, product finally released this year,I contacted Jason and paid remaining amount as everything seemed ok…
Never received an update or and answer from both of their emails shop/gmail and even on Facebook and left my message as seen.
After few attempts I decided to contact my bank, it took less than a day to get my money back(still haven’t heard back from nerdtoysuk), ordered the product from somewhere else and very happy with it.
My advice for the store at least keep in touch with your customers…
Advice for the customers, don’t buy from this store

Bought an item for £260 was told it was going to be dispatched in December 2022, Jason told me it was UK bound so I waited it is now May 2023 and I still haven’t received the item. Luckily after a back a forward I managed to get a refund after asking for one for 4 months.

My best advice is to keep emailing and contacting them until they give in.

Worst company I’ve ever dealt with I can’t stress enough, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

Don't buy from them. Pre Ordered an item with them, item kept getting delayed to the point it 10 months later and still not received item. Asked for refund which they agreed now still waiting for refund and they ignoring emails.

Ordered my items back in January (one was in stock, another one was a pre-order), zero communication about possible shipping dates, nothing. Eventually contacted them on Facebook after receiving zero updates for 3 months (I must've sent about 4 emails in the meantime, hoping to get some kinda update), was told that the stock will be in 7 days and then the items will be shipped, obviously nothing was actually shipped. I've received an email about the new updated email address with some generic excuses about difficulties in running the business and promises that the ordered items will be shipped out ASAP, and here we are, nearly 2 months later and I've not even received a reply to a request to cancel the order and process the refund, so I had to raise a dispute through Klarna and thankfully I'll be receiving a refund. Avoid this "company" like the plague , complete waste of time.

Had pre-orders due in January & April, Jason replied to my messages at first but now nothing ! Was told at the beginning of April he would have my order dispatched within 7 days still nothing and no communication through email or social media now

Paid in full for a preorder last year, 2 months after the approximate date and no item has arrived, no update and several emails have not been responded to. Nearly £70 paid and as it's over the 180 days I cannot report this scam.

Avoid, this company has effectively stolen from me.

Been waiting since December for a pre-order. There was email communication at the beginning, and I gave Jason the benefit of the doubt but he is no longer responding to emails which is incredibly frustrating. I will be taking this further.

I placed an order back last year, I paid on a payment plan , after 20 plus emails to see where my order was Jason made contact and called me, this was after I left a review on trust pilot,
He seemed very genuine and said he would give me a refund, I said all I want is my figures, he said he would get them sent out and give me a figure for all the trouble,
He asked me about my 1st review and asked if I could sort it out, so I believed him when he said he would send my figures and took it down.
This was on the 21/4/23
I am still waiting for my figures
I have sent several more emails to him and got no response.
This is the first and last time I will use his company.
I am sad to leave this review you seemed a nice genuine guy, maybe I am just to gullible and trust people.
I myself have had family issues and don’t have loads of money, I Chose to spend what I had with you.
If my figures do not arrive by the end of the week I will be contacting trading standards.

I have just reported this company to my bank who will contact nerd toys to try and get my money back.
I am now reporting them to trading standards.
Everyone who has been let down by this company needs to do the same and stop others getting scammed.

I have received most of my money back via my bank apart from one payment which is still being looked into.
The first and only time I spoke to Jason he was looking into opening another website for horror so everyone BEWARE .
Hopefully Trading standards will shut him down, for those who cannot get their money back though the bank try the small claims court, if enough people stands up to this company maybe something can be done to protect others.

Yep i`m done too, to be fair he offered a refund 2 weeks ago and i held out in hope he would send the figures.
as a collector i dont want to miss out and other online stores have them.
have sent a few emails but no reply although this was over the bank holiday but still.
will contact trading standards and the company i paid to get these on payment plan

After contacting my bank they have temporarily put the money back into my account until further investigation is done, they are asking Nerd toys if this a legtimate charge back, so here`s hoping he tells the truth about not sending goods so i get to keep my refund

Pre order was made December 2021 and due to be delivered June 2022. I made contact with nerd toys after June (when there was still a phone number) and was informed there was a delay. Some months passed and I emailed checking the status of the item, I was as informed that contact would be made when this had been looked into. Since then I have written a number of emails and attempted contact via Facebook to which the has been zero response. We’re now in may 2023, still with no response to any attempt containing rewriting an update or refund. Extremely poor customer service, may as well have thrown money away. I would not recommend purchasing from this company, feel as if I’ve been robbed.

Trying to contact Jason when my order will arrive but I don't get any response

I bought a figure in installments with them, finished paying, and contacted them through the old e-mail to get more information about the shipping date, etc. Jason replied to me saying the fig wasn't released yet, but it was because I was seeing people reselling it after buying from UK stores. That was July 2022. Contacted them multiple times in 2023 on FB to get an update, and got some replies saying that anytime they would ship the figure, but nothing until now. I am disappointed in seeing so many with the same issue and afraid I will lose the money and never get the figure... The guys from the store seem nice, but everyone has problems in life so they should be more professional.

Great experience. Delivered in 48 hours.

Constantly chasing Jason up with no response absolutely appalling customer service
Doesn't reply to emails or messages
Finally got a response promising that he would cancel pre orders and refund but didn't materialise

Ordered 5 Marvel Legends figures from this website on 1 October 2022. Totally no updates on the status of the figures. Sent several emails to request refund or send the figures that shop have. However, until today, no refund or any toys received.

This is horrible experience for order the toys for more than half an year and got no response from that toy shop at all. Never buy from this shop again and will be blacklisted forever.

Awful experience, pre ordered in April 22 with expected delivery March 23. I have contacted Jason Mcquade the director to get an update, received a reply and offered a refund. However weeks later no refund, emails not sending, I have also used the new email with no response and Facebook messages seen and ignored. SCAMMERS.

To people in the same boat, I have done some research and you will need to report them to trading standards. Just google “report online trading standards”. It doesn’t take long and will hopefully stop further people being scammed.

The only thing they deliver is excuses, empty promises and false hope.
After a few trouble free orders at great prices back in 2021 i thought the company could do no wrong, putting my faith in them i ordered a set of Neca shadow warriors on december 2021 (a pre-order for june 2022) time rolls on and several more pre-orders later I begin to question where my orders are, December 2022 I start messaging about my missing orders, each time getting told "I will get them shipped out next week" each time nothing would be done, I have been promised that my orders would be dispatched at least five times now and I have been received nothing but excuses of illnesses and delays.
giving them the benifit of the doubt I have continued to be patient with them, promised that my orders will be shipped with 'something extra' and that part of my order will be refunded.. all being delay tactics.
It is now the 4th may 2023, three different orders are still unfulfilled and I have three differant email addresses from the company, no reply from any of them and most of my emails are now bouncing back as undelivered.
Do not shop with Nerd Toys, do not even consider it, their low prices are nothing but bait as you will never recieve your order.
All I wish for now is my money back and for others to avoid this company.

0 contact from any of their now numerous emails, tried the bank and was told its past the 110 days timeframe to issue a chargeback so I contacted citizens advice and trading standards and have issued nerd toys with a final 14 day deadline to respond

I ordered on the 5th of Feb 23. At 1st he would email. I understand mine was a preorder and I'm doing the partial payment. Almost paid off now just starting to worry my £279 order may not be fulfilled. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt as I understand he has had some health issues and this can be very stressful. I'm hoping to hear back at some point will update. At later date.

Update spoke to Jason. Understand he's going through some struggles. Seemed a genuine guy who's fallen on hard times. Said I will receive a call tomorrow to update my order. Hope he gets back on his feet

Update had nice conversation with Jason seems like a sound bloke. We're all human an go through bad times. he gave me my update and now I'm happy

Despite being told at least twice that my order has been posted, I've still received nothing. My item was supposedly in their warehouse at the start of March and was definitely, positively going to be posted next day delivery, still nothing on the 3rd of May. Being charitable, this outfit is completely incompetent. The more cynical would say that they take your money, give false promises and then refuse to respond to emails.

I can completely understand the difficulties that the company have faced recently, but to lie regarding stock availability and postage at least twice is absolutely beyond the pale. I thought that I'd give a small company a chance (I order an ungodly amount of Star Wars ephemera), but I certainly won't make the same mistake again.

Update: still no response, so I've reported them to Trading Standards.

Update #2: Jason eventually got in touch with the usual excuses and said that he'd definitely, positively pay me the refund yesterday. Surprisingly, it never materialised. Luckily, on the same day, I received an email from trading standards asking for more details regarding my claim against the scammer.

Update #3: Another email, another excuse, another promise to send the refund definitely, positively as soon as he gets home. Unless he lives in Hong Kong, he's lying again.
