NCF Living Poor customer care

I have completed trustpilot previously and scored NCF with a two due to really poor customer service and leaving me with a damaged couch from when the item was delivered. Three months on they replied by have not took accountability for the damage. I would score this company as a zero if I could and we will never use NCF living again for any furniture

Simmy at Gateshead

We went to the Gateshead store today for a look around/inspiration for our new home and were met by Simmy who was amazing from start to finish!
Very friendly and knowledgeable nothing was too much for him (or too heavy to move) he made myself and partner feel very comfortable and managed to help us find the perfect sofa and dining room table!
Will be recommending to friends and family and will most definitely be back in the future.

Delivery Date

We have been trying to contact the store via email and telephone with no response regarding a delivery date for order number GAOM4500
I have had to come onto this forum just to try an get a response . What a terrible service , whish i could cancel this order will never buy again from this store

Awful experience using this company.

Awful experience using this company.

Ordered a dining table and chairs in August and was told delivery would not be until mid/end November. We were happy to wait as it was, on the face of it, a good deal. November came and went with no updates from NCF, until i got in touch to ask for one. Was told they didn't have it in stock and wouldn't have one until the 10th December, when the delivery company would get in touch. That date came and went, i again had to request an update, was told they still didn't have it and would be approx 15th December. Again this came and went. I asked for another update. Finally heard from the delivery company asking to deliver on 23rd December. They delivered a damaged table, however the entire company had shut down for Christmas by this point so had no way of speaking to anyone til after Christmas. They took the table back and when NCF finally got back in touch we were told it would be February when they could replace it. We asked for a refund and was told we couldn't have one, and our options were to have a new table or cancel the order and they keep our money!

We finally took possession of the table and chairs on Monday, however there was an issue with the extending mechanism on the table.

Absolutely dreadful company. It took 6 months, two deliveries and one damaged table before we got our order. A ridiculous amount of time. We have kept the substandard table just because we don't have the energy to deal with this dreadful company anymore. We have made NCF aware but obviously no response.

Will never use again or recommend.

AWFUL COMPANY

AWFUL COMPANY - DO NOT USE

We purchased a dining tables and chairs which was delivered 23rd December 2025. The table and chairs were delivered DAMAGED. We reported this immediately and are STILL WAITING for a resolution or replacement.
Customer service is AWFUL - they do not reply or answer calls. We have been to the store who have said they cannot help.
Please do not use this company.

The people in the shop are fantastic…

The people in the shop are fantastic and lovely it’s the depo I paid well over 2k for a sofa in November with the promise it would be held for me untill I moved house in December now I’ve moved the depo won’t give me my sofa without £400 holding charge which the shop has confirmed they shouldn’t be doing I still do not have my sofa and I can’t get an awnser from anyone are you joking ???????

Customer services is hopeless

Customer services is hopeless. We had a problem with our order (wrongly sent item) Telephone line will not be answered and Customer service email is not responded to. We had to travel back to the store to sort out problem. No problem with the quality of the goods , eventually , however Customer service needs to be improved.

Andy, you are well deserved

Andy, a gentleman there. He explain the buying process and confirme all information gently, make me relax, no pressure, not every staff can do this, this 5 star is not my willingness, because I want to give Andy 6 to 7 stars instead of 5 only. He is well deserved. Not because he gave me any surprises or energetic service, but a pease and smooth experience, which is what I want and what is lacking from the commercial world. Love it .
