I found navupdates & purchased the BMW Road Map Europe MOVE 2019 + FSC Code at £29.99. The map download link was sent immediately with easy to follow instructions on how to install the map. A note was attached explaining the FSC code was generated manually and would take from 30 mins to 2 hours to be processed.
Two hours passed and I had not received the code, in the meantime I found all the negative reviews and thought dam it I have been had. I used the contact form on their website to say 3 hours have passed since I paid for your service, sorry to say this but after seeing the reviews on Trustpilot I doubt you will send an activation code.
Well it turns out I was wrong they responded within 15 mins & apologised for the delay they explained they had a technical issue and the code would be sent to me within 30 mins. True to their word I received the code.
My old map was from 2016 there are quite a few new roads nearby that were not on the old map but they are on this updated one. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the delay in receiving the code. I will use the company again.

I have added some tips to help others
Make sure your maps can be updated via a USB the map should have an icon with a tick in the bottom left corner if not you cannot update your map via the USB.
To check the map version go to your iDrive navigation view, open the settings menu and scroll down to Navigation system version. You will see the region, map version and year of your current map.
Make sure you order the correct map type for your system.
Make sure you give them the correct last 6 digits from your chassis number.
Make sure you have a good quality USB stick (16gb or more) formatted to FAT32.
Follow the instructions exactly as they say.
The map can take a long time to install.

Just updated my 2013 BMW X5 with East and West Europe maps.
easy to download. code works perfectly.
make sure to use not more than 32GB pendrive. my BMW X5 could not recognize maps update... but once i downloaded maps update to 32GB after inserting USB to glove box, after few seconds system updated itself stright away. took about 40minutes to update all. can recommend to anyone.

Bought 2020 Motion maps for my 3 series yesterday and received code within 2 hours. Followed instructions and copied contents to a blank 32gb Fat32 USB. Installed in car and came up instantly. Drove approx 15 miles to fully install the update and working perfectly.

The only thing I can see isn't on the instructions was how to check the % of install which is Nav-options-Navigation system update. Then just drive until 100%

Do not use! Wish I’d seen this review site before using these scammers. 6 days, many messages sent without reply and no FSC code ever received. Opened a dispute with PayPal

As an update, I got my money back through PayPal! If you are in the position myself and others have been in pursue this with PayPal, don’t let them keep your money for poor or no service

Bought nav update for 3 series £39.99 which looks like being a no show. Got an email reply from guy called Ibraheem when I asked for update on postage. Now gone quiet so like everyone else’s reviews been scammed out of cash

The map update I purchased would not install in my car, despite following the instructions exactly. No technical support was provided and the crook who runs the site ignored all requests for a refund. Avoid this company at all costs.

Thieves! Stole my money, won't refund me! Told me some crap about the map I was advised to buy is the wrong one!

I have also been let down by this supplier. So-called "simple"instructions were impossible to follow and requests for refunds because of dissatisfaction have been ignored, despite the website's assurance of a money-back guarantee. And don't expect to be able to get your money back through PayPal, unless you are prepared to hold the line for hours.

Downloaded what was sent on to a memory stick followed the instructions to the letter but car would not recognise it
No phone number to ring emailed them but no response complained to pay who say they would investigate but have paid them anyway so thats goodbye to that then

Don't be duped by the site, the man is a criminal. So called "instant online help" is a lie. There will be no response AND messaging via website facility ignored.
No name, no address so unless you used Paypal or a credit card he's shafted you.
A little digging and I found a court case actioned by BMW against Balog Francisc Sebastian. He also offers a tuning service which is likely a scam also. Watch out for this crook as he keeps reinventing his addresses.
Just goes to show you that being on page one of Google doesn't mean the 'business' is reputable and not run by a criminal.

Still waiting for the code, no reply to communications.
Avoid at all costs

I have ordered the update for map for bmw 5 series but it didn’t work. I have asked for a refund but they are not giving , trying to not reply to the emails. Waste of money and time aswell. Don’t buy from this site !!!!

Bought from 'Nav updates.co.uk' a supposedly new map update for my 2011 bmw 5 series... like the last bad review, it didn't work, cost me £29.99 and there advert promises a full refund if not happy!
They don't reply to your e mails even though there is a template on their web page to e mIl them directly, the company shows a 'LEX MEDIA' company once you have paid, this is a different company in Hong Kong when you google it!

I paid with pay pal and apparently according to my colleague at work they will chase this up for you!?... we shall see! SO 😡 ANGRY... AVOID AVOID AVOID!!! Let's hope Karma comes knocking!!!

I bought a download for 2019 map updates for my 2012 X5 prior to going over to France.
The update didn't work and 3 separate attempts to contact for support and then when no response requested a refund - still no response.
My advice would be steer well clear.
Waste of £30.
