STAY AWAY. DON'T BOTHER. SCAM?

Item ordered on the 5th of July, with 10 working day shipping. On the 17th I'm starting to get worried as my order is still pending but Jennifer Turner reassures me that my "order is due to leave us today". By the 20th I get fed up and start ringing them; they never answer the phone BTW. So I process a refund through PayPal. Today is the 23rd and I had to ask them to reply to the PayPal claim and get a message from Tim Turner, "This order was cancelled on 20.07.20 by a PayPal refund request.

"Useless" would be the word I'd use to describe this website and service as in "they cannot do the one thing they are advertising they can do". Zero communication until you chase them. Website is likely a scam. They keep this up and the sheer amount of PayPal refunds will have their account closed.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. I ordered a tshirt using my own design. Paid for the order expecting a 2 week delivery. After almost 2 weeks I'd heard nothing sent them an email to chase the order and was told they couldn't print it due to copyright infringement. Why they couldn't tell me this sooner I have no idea. I asked for more info on this as it was my own design and was ignored. I've sent the question 3 times and had no answer. Finally got a refund 19 days later. Avoid!!

I made an order at the beginning of May…

I made an order at the beginning of May 2020, expecting a return of my order within a two week window, only to find myself still waiting. What is even more worrying is that i made another order on May 29th for a second order, which i have also yet to receive. That's a total spent of over 100 quid. I've been trying to contact them by phone and email but no luck whatsoever. I made an order previously which was also delayed, but the quality of the tshirts was really good. The only problem with this company at the moment is the customer service, and turnaround time.

Could you please help, any sort of contacts would be much appreciated.

Appalling customer service

I placed an order on 3/5/20 and after waiting the suggested 2 week delivery date, I started contacting via phone and email.

It was 2 weeks before anyone responded and I received an email to say they hadn't received my garment, never mind sending it to print.

I requested to cancel my order and receive a refund on 4/6/20. It was confirmed I would receive the refund the following day 5/6/20.

I am still waiting...

I can't comment on the product provided by MPC but the customer service has been appalling.

Extremely unsatisfied with everything.

Order took weeks to arrive despite adding more items to my basket (worth over £50) to earn the free shipping option. When the items arrived, the print was much larger than what I’d customised and been shown on the order confirmation. Returned the item as requested by them to receive my refund, which I’m still waiting for two weeks from the date that they received my parcel and promised me my money back, plus the additional shipping costs that I had to pay that the company said they would cover.

Getting a reply from them via e-mail is impossible, nobody will answer my messages and they don’t pickup the phones either.

Used this company before (years ago) and have been happy with them, but this order has been anything but easy.

Would really appreciate somebody contacting me regarding this order.

Pleasantly surprised

I saw some good reviews about this company on Fifo so I decided to order my boyfriend a personalise hoody for his birthday. I ordered on the 4th April 2020. I wanted to know when it would arrive so I called them and emailed but got no response and after a couple of weeks I hadn't heard anything so I started to worry. I went on trustpilot and panicked even more. However, I received my product on 28th April and was really pleased with the final result! The hoody and print were great quality, which is surprising considering the low star rating on other peoples' comments on this site. My boyfriend said the hoody is really comfortable. I would definitely order from here again, even my boyfriend wants another personalised item! I would say the downside is not being able to communicate with this company and being left fairly in the dark until the product finally arrives. The product did take longer than expected to arrive but with Covid-19, that's understandable. Also I'd advise to check your junk/spam email as mine got put there.

This is the worst company I have ever…

This is the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I order 10 hoodies for a set of students in November. I actually received the hoodies in March. Initially the advisor I was dealing with (Johnny) was very helpful, that is until he received payment for the hoodies. After this he did not respond to emails, despite emailing me chasing up payments before this. After placing the initial order, 2 pupils failed to pay so I emailed Johnny and got a new invoice for the two less hoodies, and I informed him of the two that were no longer needed. Three weeks went by and nothing. I emailed Johnny (twice) no response. I ended up getting in touch with them on online chat. When questioned about where my hoodies were, I was informed that Jonny was waiting for a response from me after two of the colours were not in stock (he had never emailed me to inform me of this). I changed my order and was promised the hoodies would go straight into production. Another 3 weeks passed. I got an email from Johnny, asking where my payment was and what my amended choice of colours were. I forwarded Johnny the email that I had sent to him with this information on (sent in January). No apology, no response. Another 3 weeks passed. I got in touch with someone on online chat again to catch up on my order. Sorry we have ran out of two of the colours. Again no one had informed me of this. I amended my order again and was promised the hoodies would go straight into production and be with me in a few days. A week passed, the hoodies finally arrived. Thin, and poor quality. I can't even be bothered to go through the process of complaining as I know I may as bang my head on a brick wall. Please do not cause yourself the stress of using this company. I had some very disappointed children, who wanted their hoodies for a school visit, which had long passed by the time they actually arrived.

Do not use this company for bespoke clothing

Ordered 12 sweatshirts from this company and spent over £200. 6 jumpers did not match the colours that I ordered which meant that the artwork I designed was not visible. In the preview it looked fine and you could see the artwork well.
I then got in touch with customer support via the chat (I called the phone number but no answer after 3 times on a Monday at 14:30). An agent called Ollie first tried to decieve me by saying the colour I ordered was not that one. Then he said there was nothing they could do and that I should order a new one in another colour. I asked to file a complaint and he said that was not possilbe because they "fulfilled the order". Then he ended the chat. I think this says it all.

Illegal Terms and Conditions

Terrible. I ordered a t-shirt, but didn't look right when it was delivered so I checked back against my order, they'd sent a completely different t-shirt (it was Fruit of the Loom which was the major tip-off the shirt wasn't right, I hate Fruit of the Loom t-shirts, I would never have ordered one), and the colour wasn't right either, I'd wanted a deep jade, I'd been sent a bright teal.
I contacted the company to tell them they'd sent the wrong shirt and was told that what I'd ordered was out of stock so it was substituted for something else in the closest colour (without informing me) to "keep their turnaround perameters". This is apparently stated in their Ts&Cs but unfortunately you can't disclaim whatever you want, if a customer has ordered something, and you can't provide it, you contact them to ask if they'd like a replacement, and what that replacement should be, or whether they'd like to cancel the order, you don't get to send them whatever you want. I was far more bothered about the type of t-shirt, I actually looked at 5 different websites before settling on this one, the colour was just one I liked, I'd much rather have changed the colour and kept the same t-shirt, the receipient will absolutely just not wear this one, it's awful (tight ribbed neck, different cut on the arms, just not at all something he'd wear, this is FAR more important than the colour).

They said I'd have to pay to order a new one myself! But they'd 'generously' offer a 20% discount. I of course said this was completely unacceptable: I was not consulted, I was sent something I hadn't ordered, this is illegal regardless of what it says in the Ts&Cs, precisely because if you could say that you could abuse it all day to send people whatever you want, get rid of stock etc, and then double your money on replacement orders.

They actually said they'd send a free replacement after this, and we agreed a different colour in the original t-shirt that was confirmed in stock. I waited. It never arrived. I contacted again, same conversation. They said the replacement order had been put through but there didn't seem to be a dispatch note so they'll put in through again. I waited. Still no t-shirt. I think they've been fobbing me off to get me to go away. I will not go away.

I have highlighted the relevent sections of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 that this is in legal breach of:
- Section 11 (goods must be as described), drawing attention to subsections 1 (must match description), 4 (any detail provided by seller is part of that contract) and 5 (changes made after the contract has been made without express agreement from the consumer are void)
- Section 19 (right to enforce terms) drawing attention to subsection 1a (right applies if conforming to terms in Section 11)
- Section 23 (right to repair or replacement) drawing attention to subsections 1 (right applies if conforming to terms in section 19), and 2a, 2b and 2c (if repair or replacement required, seller must do so in reasonable time and at their own cost)
- Section 24 (right to price reduction/final rejection) drawing attention to subsection 5a (price reduction only applies if the seller has already supplied a repair or replacement that also broke contract) 5b (price reduction only applies if consumer doesn't require repair or replacement) and 5c (price reduction only applies if repair/replacement was not provided in reasonable time).

You cannot have Ts&Cs against the law. If I do not receive a satisfactory replacement by 11th January, I will report you to trading standards. This is not an empty threat.

Poor fit / stitching. Bad customer service.

I bought several 'fur-lined' hoodies from this company. The photos and wording was misleading as only the the literal hood was lined with fur, that's my least serious complaint. The cut of the clothes were undersized so that they felt tight around the arms. The hood is undersized so when you put it over your head you get lift in the shoulders and it looks ...silly. One item was okay, spacious even, but the other one had loose threads on the outside of the sleeves. Naturally I contacted support about the poor cut/sizing and the stitching and attached photos of how the shoulders ride up and the loose stitches They didn't respond so I sent a chaser email. They still didn't respond so I ended up having to phone up and they then found my email which they claimed that they thought someone had dealt with and they said they'd contact me. I later got an email back that the loose stitching was normal on the INSIDE of the clothing, even though the photos clearly showed the outside and they made no comment on the poor fit.

They said they'd had no previous problems (like that matters to me) and offered to receive the items back so they could send them off and IF they found a problem (like the fact I'd sent them actual photos of defects wasn't good enough) then they'd issue a refund. They only offered to cover the cost of return postage IF they found a fault, even though you could plainly see the problem in the photos.

At this point I felt that giving them the benefit of the doubt would be fruitless since they literally ignore photo evidence, and I'd end up just wasting postage.

Avoid like the plague

We purchased 3 fruit of the loom hoodies from my personalised clothing. After one wash (according to the clothing label) the print began to peel and the hoodie had faded. Not only this but the logos were positioned wrong and obscured by the hoodie strings. We returned the hoodies after receiving a generic reply. Despite being told we would hear back within 3 days we waited 9 before I called and asked about the return, after managing to get through to somebody on the phone it was admitted the hoodies were peeling and in a poor state however we were refused a refund as "you didn't contact us within 5 days of receiving the product", the staff on the phone were rude and delivered poor customer service. When asked about the incorrect positioning of the hoodies they were oblivious, they assured us they would investigate this and get back to us. We received no call back, eventually they agreed to refund 1 hoodie and send back 2 faulty hoodies after ignoring 50+ calls and emails over 1 month.
