Exactly what I wanted: a diet template based on my genetic data.
I've tried several other companies, including insidertracker and DNAfit; if your primary concern is diet then I would absolutely recommend Gene Food as the best of the bunch.
The report you get is nuanced, readable and actionable. And their customer service is great!

My husband has been diagnosed with…
My husband has Early Onset Alzheimer's Disease. I had been told by my husband's neurologist to let him eat whatever he wanted because, in the end, it didn't matter. Friends and family members were recommending that he should be eating "this" diet or "that" diet. The many voices were so conflicting and confusing. All I wanted to do was whatever would be best for him, so I began my research. That research began 3 years ago and then recently, I found "My Gene Food" and it has been life-changing. Finally, a gene-specific recommendation of my husband's personal-best nutrition plan for both macro and micronutrients. This has been a game-changer for us. My husband feels better and is more clear-minded and less tired during the day. And those many voices telling me that we should be doing "this" or "that" do not influence me like they used to because, now I know what is best, and why. Also, a side note, I have had nothing but good interactions with the company. I called with a question and John O'Connor promptly picked up my call. He patiently took time with me and even included Dr. Aaron Gardner, their geneticist and involved their team right there on the spot. Thank you "My Gene Food" you have changed our lives for the better!

I first became interested in Gene Food because of their blog, which I've found to be one of the most interesting and non-ideological nutrition blogs on the web. I then got their personalized nutrition report, which was well worth the money even though I've had a serious interest in nutrition for almost four decades now. I also found their customer support to be very good as well.
