Terrible
Terrible! It’s a long review but worth the read. I would not have gone here if anyone put a review up with this and there is so much more I could have put but these are some of main things. First they rescheduled my delivery date 3 different times. The coffee table arrived damaged and broken 2 times. Not to mention they were going to take my old couch and leave me with just an ottoman because they couldn’t deliver the new couch there until after Easter. Then when they came to deliver the ottoman it was the WRONG COUCH!! I needed the furniture before Easter ( ordered in Feb ) then after going back and forth they were finally going to get it to me the 4th right before Easter which is a date that somehow just popped up and wasn’t available for a weeks! I spent over $5000 for nothing but headaches and I returned everything the day I got the ottoman I had it! I went to Ashley got what I wanted that day delivered most of it the next day and only spent $3200!! Don’t waste your time on Bobs furniture they don’t keep their word and don’t care.
Best prices and good service!
Nicolette was my sale associate in Bob’s furniture the location on Riverdale. She was very helpful and knowledgeable of the merchandise and the financing offers. Treated me with courtesy and respect. I felt good about my purchase definitely will be revisiting the store for future purchases. I will look out for Nicolette to be my sales associate again.
Good old fashion customer service
My husband and I stopped in just to look at sofas. Guest experience specialist (Ed) greeted us and walk us through the selection. We asked questions and he provided us with the best options.
We ended up buying a sofa set and we are very happy with that decision. The delivery was a great experience as well. They were polite and courteous. They were on time and very respectful. I felt at ease with both of them and they cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely use them again and recommend the as well.

They get 1 star because I can't give 0 stars. We got delivered our sofa on September 2025 and right away sofa cushing start sinking and we called them, a service rep come and told "production issues and weed to replace foam cushings". This was on November 2025 and according to them we should receive the cushings foams December. I called them every single month since December and they say the same "in end of the month they arrive" but now we are in April and still nothing arrived. Stay away from this "scammers" and spend your money somewhere else.
Unreliable Delivery and Customer Service
Was told a delivery date that wasn't even possible to begin with. (When I ordered March 26th, it said it would be delivered March 29th, when I talked to the agent, I was told the delivery team doesn't even work on Sundays.)
I asked the agent for shipping confirmation and all that was sent was a copy of my receipt. Not a single section of the delivery date. I was told April 2nd, then got an email two days ago, the delivery would be April 1st, only to be sent another email that it would be April 2nd, 10:30-2:50 and just minutes ago, the update was moved to 530-730PM. I have now had to cancel three plans because of this. One was a train trip. I cannot risk not being here for the delivery. This is absolutely unfathomable how it's affecting my life so dramatically.
I am not even getting the mattress topper at the same time! That is coming, apparently, on April 6th, but I am going to assume that date is incorrect as well.
I would ultimately cancel it, but that would mean further interacting with Bob's Discount Furniture. This is the first and last time I ever do business at this company.

Beautiful furniture at a great price!
This place is so great, I don’t even think of going anywhere else. They have great furniture and the prices are so reasonable! I’ve referred my friends to Bob’s Discount Furniture and they bought a beautiful couch for their living room. I’m back for the 3rd time and I’m so in love with the chairs I bought to go with my couch ( bought at Bobs) . I won’t shop anywhere else! Also the staff are so so nice, they treat you like family. Thanks Bob’s for being such a great furniture store!!

I would have given a five if the following didn't happen.
When I walked in the store there were two sales people (women) sitting in the middle area where they sit waiting on customers to come in. Neither of them greeted me or asked if I needed help. To make sure they saw me I walked in their direction and still nothing. They watched me walk around indecisive and a little confused. I started to leave but James Wong came out of nowhere, greeted me and asked if I needed help, that made me stay and make my purchase. James was very helpful, he answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable about my purchase. I left a Happy Customer. Thank you James

Our sales associate, Erin, made the entire experience even better. She was incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. What we appreciated most was that she never pressured us. She took her time, answered every question we had, and made sure we felt confident in our choices. It’s rare to find someone who combines expertise with such a relaxed, friendly approach.

Rude Customer Service
The original salesman said if the furniture came in early, we could get it earlier than the anticipated delivery date. I called Customer Service regarding delivery and the man on the phone was so rude and sarcastic, explaining the delivery was "locked". I asked to speak with the salesman and was told, with an attitude, "I don't even know if he's here". Completely inappropriate Customer Service.

Shoutout to Andrew and Carlos for an outstanding delivery experience in Brooklyn! These two guys were absolutely amazing from start to finish.
The delivery did not include carrying the couch up to the third floor, and they did it anyway, without hesitation, without complaint, just with a smile. That kind of effort is rare, and it honestly made my day.
That is the type of service that turns a one-time customer into a loyal one. Big thanks to both of them. If you get Andrew and Carlos on your delivery, consider yourself lucky!

Never ever order furniture from Bob's…
Never ever order furniture from Bob's Furniture ! They delivered broken furniture and I had to wait almost a week for it to be exchanged and was set for tomorrow am. I just got a notice they are delivering it now tomorrow afternoon and there is "nothing that can be done" . So.now I have to rearrange my entire day!! Never again!
Damage to Corner of Table…
The table was damaged in one corner and we contacted an agent who said they would reach out by text regarding the damage and we never received a text or call regarding our damaged table.
