Poor customer service

Poor customer service. Do not get involved in this company. They have no phone number to talk to a live person. Very slow in responding to emails. We are having a major issue and there is literally NO HELP

Comments section in purgatory?

Just wondering if there is a way to get the comments sections back. I learned so much from those. I have over 70 “keep forever” classes and seem to have lost all the vital information I gleaned over my own comments and others’ comments with the instructors’ feedback blocks that ran under the videos. Is all that information lost forever? When I review my own comments they are saved under my settings profile, but the instructor’s reply is unfortunately not there. Which is a huge bummer to say the least. Is there a way to retrieve? Am I looking in the wrong spot?
Also I wish there were dates associated w the comments. So you can track the timeline.
Also, what happened to the ability to download classes? Please help! Would love to have all comments reinstalled!

UGH.

UGH. While attempting to write this review stating how disappointed I am with Bluprint (please, why this ridiculous name??), I popped over to Bluprint to see how many classes I'd purchased from Craftsy- 93! And my browser crashed. Which is a continuing problem. Either crashing or freezing. I have to dial down the quality setting just to get videos to play. The new website is also just frankly ugly, and difficult / not at all intuitive to navigate. Its takes searching around to find my classes, and then watching them, as mentioned above, is never smooth. I don't know if this is because the new platform is just shoddily built, or if this is an attempt to push people to subscribe for smoother service? But I have already purchased 93 classes and I am not giving more $$ to this really unpleasant site. I just hope they fix what they broke. (Also, annoyed in advance for the perky response surely on its way.)

When it was 'craftsy' I bought a couple…

When it was 'craftsy' I bought a couple of classes. They were wonderful. I am mainly into scrapbooking, art journaling, photography and junk journaling. Since NBC bought Craftsy and turned it into Blueprint (what the hell does that mean?)...the make it yourself channel has gone down the tubes...No new classes on paper crafting and most of the good instructors walked away. Not worth the price AT ALL for monthly membership

What a waste of money...

I joined Bluprint for the great classes that Craftsy used to offer. I tried to start watching one last night. After three times of the site hanging, I gave up. I also received a free coupon which I thought I would use on a dvd of one of the classes (if the app doesn't work, at least I can watch it from a dvd, right?). The store app applied the coupon, but it did not change the price. Why would I want the service if I cannot use the coupon on classes? I sent in a support email, and while they still have time to respond in their "normal window" of time, my impressions of the site and service are soured. 1 star is generous, folks...

The classes and instructors are great but

BluPrint has ruined Craftsy, which I loved. The classes and instructors are great. The app sucks. Working on an iPad mini, it freezes, wont’t print and the materials and other links often won’t open. I have wasted too much time on this. I can not often fast forward a video or back-track it. So done. Better things to do,

Very happy with Bluprint

I was a big fan of Craftsy and when I read all the reviews about Bluprint, I hesitated. There were so many negative comments. So I started with just paying per month. I have NO TROUBLES AT ALL!
All my Craftsy course are still in my account. There is nothing that didn't work, so I don't know what went wrong with all the other people, but I am very happy that I am on Bluprint.

So disappointed

I want to say my quilt box was great and the classes I have watched were very good. That's all the good I can say about Bluprint. Initially I was sent a family box instead of a quilt box, took 3 weeks for this to be resolved from the non- people, non- existant customer service. They did not respond as stated within 24 hours. It took 11 days before I heard anything. I go to use my Forever coupon codes and they won't work. It's been 2 days since I sent off that email request. Still waiting on a reply. I tried the robot chat, not helpful, just said it did not understand. I think the concept of all online business is a thought, just not a good one. The customers are people and should be helped by real people.

Here ia an example of how a business…

Here ia an example of how a business should NOT be run. The switch from Craftsy to Bluprint could not have been worse. Bluprint has an unbelievably confusing website, terrible customer service - and the pricing is out-of-control. On Craftsy you could take a class for $25; now I have to shell out many times that much for stuff I don't need. There is no sense of community and one gets robotic answers for everything in a nauseatingly fake cheerful tone. If anyone wants to start up another truly Craftsy-style website, I'd be behind them 100%!

I'm still happy

Wow. Didn't expect to see such a line of unhappy people when I clicked this button.

My Bluprint subscription seems to be working just fine. Still got my 'Forever' purchases. And I have just checked that each one still plays .... and they all do.

At the moment I am working through a pattern design course which is fabulous and teaching me loads. So no complaints about the content of the site either.

In fact I only arrived here because I was looking for an answer to a question. Just wanted to know what the shipping costs to the UK are for purchases from the Bluprint shop. Seems a shame if you can only afford to purchase stuff if you live in the USA.

But perhaps I'll just go back to the Bluprint site and ask directly .... Hopefully, I'll get some nice, helpful answer from the customer support team. Reserving my last star for that!

Boycott bluprint

Bluprint is a mess, and I’m not the only one saying that. Scroll through the reviews. The 5-star reviews are for Craftsy, not Bluprint. And there are others that are obviously for some other “site”; e.g., someone talked about a physical place to visit. I have attempted to watch my Craftsy-purchased classes, amd first, found it nearly impossibleto find them; and second, once I happened upon them, they NEVER downloaded. That is, I was left in swirling circle HELL.

Quilting/sewing instructors unite, and create a startup!

Bluprint is a disaster

I loved craftsy, and the subscription was awesome until the whole site became bluprint. Now I don't get any reaction from the instructors in the comments and when I asked customer service about this, I received the following reply:

Well, a lot of time has passed since my earlier comments (below) and nothing over there at Bluprint.com has improved. It's even gotten worse. Now I can't even sign in. The page goes blank and freezes up.

Yes, I have an older computer, but the agreement when I spent a bunch of money on "Forever Classes" was "Forever" not IF i purchased a new computer every three years. Foreever means FOREVER with no additional conditions applied. In my last entry I couldn't access any of my Forever Classes because they just wouldn't load and run. NOW, I can't even sign on the site at all.

I really would like to get my money back because they definitely have not lived up to the contract. If I could find there location I would definitely pursue it legally, but they are really entrenched into the anonymity behind the veil of the internet. A bunch of cowardly operators to be sure.

HEY YOU OVER AT BLUPRINT.COM why don't you have a REAL customer service system that works instead of the mess of a website that just runs one in circles and going nowhere? Why not come out a admit that you royally screwed up by changing the website into garbage?

When it was Craftsy there was a way to communicate. Now there is just a frustrating spinning carousel of pages that accomplish nothing.

So people, don't get caught up in the spiderweb net over at Bluprint.com because you will get screwed and eaten up by this unscrupulous bunch of thieves. So my rating is still, and it will continue to be, negative 5 stars until I get a refund. Then I will raise it to negative 4 stars. The one star above is only because you can't write a comment without giving at least one star. It's rigged that way. So, again, I say negative 5 stars so you won't think I am endorsing Blupreint.com in any way, because I am not.

And I hope the folks over there at Bluprint read this and refund my money soon.

I tried the recommendation in their, still hiding in the wings, reply through this medium, and it doesn't work at all as they stated. Just nonsense and skirting the real issues. They haven't contacted me directly and that is what I am waiting for. A real honest contact and my money back.

I would give it a ZERO or negative 5 stars if I could. I mean, really.

WHEN IT WAS CRAFTSY IT WAS A GREAT PLACE AND I LIKED IT. NOW ALL IT HAS TO OFFER IS FRUSTRATION.

WHAT THE HECK ARE THEY THINKING???? IT IS TOTALLY A MESS BEING RUN BY MORONS.

They constantly tell you to contact them through their help center. OR really it's the helpLESS center.

I have done that at least 4-5 times and get nothing.
On one page is says; Send us an email and we will get back to you in 48 hours or less. Clicked that.

There they tell you that this is for information gathering only, so basically, don't expect any answers.

Craftsy had good response record and I even received a phone call from them once. Blueprint, I mean DUMBPRINT, doesn't respond to anything and they deliberately are hiding behind the anonymity of the internet and making it impossible to connect with them in any way.

It just one continuous, run you in circles and get nowhere, routine.

I purchased some classes from Craftsy that were supposed to be available to me "FOREVER"!!!

Since dumbprint took over they change the website dramatically and my "FOREVER" classes are no longer available to me. So I am out around $100.00. I got nothing for it.

I sent several requests through the helpLESS center to absolutely no avail.

The whole takeover by blueprint SUCKS BIG TIME.

SO DON'T EVEN CONSIDER DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS, HEAD IN THE SAND COMPANY. YOU WILL GET SCREWED.

I REALLY HOPE THEY SEE THIS. I WANT MY MONEY BACK PEOPLE. SEND ME MY MONEY BACK BECAUSE YOU SCREWED ME.

The deal was "forever" and I don't think forever is done yet.
I don't think this page is going to work either.

Once you purchase a class, it will be available to you online in your Own Forever Library right away. You can watch it whenever you want and as many times as you want. It's yours for a lifetime.

You can find your own forever classes in your Own Forever Library on Bluprint.com. Click "Library" then "Class Library" to get to your library.

I don't see a requirement to frequently purchase a new computer in order to watch my purchased FOREVER classes.

Hmmm! :ANY device: I think that means, ANY device, right? No restrictions or stipulations.

If you are on the updated Bluprint app you can find your "Own Forever Library" by pressing on "Library" along the bottom bar and then scrolling down to find your Own Forever Library.

The deal was accessible Forever, PERIOD! Nothing else required and you have unilaterally and illegally changed the requirements after the fact. Show me a copy of the purchase agreement that stipulates purchasing new computer to keep up with you incessant changing of the website. You can print it right here on this forum.

Since that is impossible because it doesn't exist, I firmly suggest that you promptly refund my purchase price for breach of contract.

You tell that I may be going through your Feedback and I should use the Help Center. I think by now it would be quite apparent that I am somewhat intelligent, and perhaps more-so than you because, you still don't get it. I have been to the Help Center many times, and it is the Useless Center.

And again I and stating that your HELPLESS CENTER is totally useless and doesn't work. Been there, done that, and spent hours trying to get a message out through that ridiculous spinning carousel of nonsense that goes around and around in circles going nowhere getting nothing accomplished. There is no way to communicate with your organization because you are deliberately and vigorously hiding behind the anonymity of the internet. However an attorney and a judge can penetrate your hiding place.

Perhaps the next step in this process should be a class action lawsuit. Anybody out there interested in joining the class??

Put a statement here that you are going to execute a refund and I will put a way on here for you to contact me since I cannot contact you through you dumber than dirt and stupid non-functional website. You should have just left it alone the way it was as a pretty neat place. But you got greedy and screwed the whole thing up. Just look at the reviews on here and other review sites.

Craftsy used to be my go to place

Craftsy used to be my go to place for quilting. I loved the indie patterns and I loved the classes.

Enter Bluprint. What a fricking disaster. Craftsy is no more and I'm still mourning.

I miss the instructors, I miss the designers.

Bluprint is a pig. And lipstick on a pig does not alter the fact it is a pig.

I cancelled my subscription.

Whata waste of a great site. Whover came up with the business plan to change Craftsy is neeeding sacked.
You had an excellent business site which crafters loved and reduced it to a shadow of itself. All in the name of money. Sorry but this will backfire on them.
I personally have bought patterns and classes but now in some cases can't access them , I am unable to see what pattern is what as the photographs have been taken off. I can't download the classes I have paid for to watch at my leisure The customer service is appalling. I am sitting here shaking my head in disbelief at what you have done to this once great business..
I loved browsing all indi designers and small business designers and more often than not I bought a pattern or patterns. Before you have over 26K sewing patterns from different desgners - now there are under 3K. How can you justify that ?
You have lost many customers and that means loss of income to the business. Hell mend you if this becomes a financial disaster for you. You know the saying you reap what you sow.

BluPrint customer service is very very poor

I was an early adopter of Craftsy. I loved my classes. I took up a monthly subscription to BluPrint in July through Paypal as it sounded that it would enhance even more my Craftsy experience. However the brand does not appeal to me. Even the name sounds like a photocopying company. I missed the atmosphere and appeal of the Craftsy-branded offerings, replaced by a more commercial feel of BuPrint.
However, I could not find the cancellation option in December 18 so I emailed them from my BluPrint-registered email address, using their Help email address via PayPal.
I received a reply where they told me they did not recognise my email or the invoice ID and could I send them my card number's last 4 digits. The tone was flippant and unhelpful. In the meantime, they have today taken another monthly subscription from my account. I have cancelled through PayPal and finally found a cancellation option on their site. I am very very upset and disappointed. R Rogers

Not interested in blueprint

Not interested in blueprint. Now inundated with emails cluttering my in box despite unsubscribing every time. Loved Craftsy...Not anymore...They are a nuisance and I'm changed my long term email address because of them. They have now lost a customer.
They replied to my answer...how many times does a person need to unsubscribe? Because at last count it was 14. It stopped for a week and has now started up again. YOU ARE A NUISANCE

I used to love Craftsy but not Bluprint

I used to love Craftsy, now they have changed to Bluprint. Unlike some others I still have all my classes I paid for and they are still there. However they have taken down my embroidery designs I had for sale. OK I wasn´t making a mint from them, but I did sell one or two and spend time and effort uploading them and creating my Craftsy shop. Now all my facebook pattern links are to dead pages. This means more time and effort taking them all down.

You are given something only to have it snatched away and your time dismissed, its just wrong. Lots of small businesses must be angry.

From Hero to Zero (Craftsy to BluPrint)

When it was Craftsy, it was FANTASTIC. Now that it is BluPrint, it's not. They are constantly lowering prices for NEW people and not telling the loyal, original customers about the changes.

I found out by keeping a second email address subscribed as a "potential customer." Several months ago, they offered new subscribers a $9.99/mo offer, while I'd still be paying $14.99/mo. When I contacted them, they acted like they were doing me a HUGE favor to change it, but said they would.

Now I get another email telling me that new subscribers can pay $69.99/yr -- while I'm stuck at the $180/yr rate??? Because, yes, they NEVER changed my rate! When I got the $69/yr offer, I went to my account, and it was still at $14.99/mo.

They don't care about customers, just cash. Spend your money somewhere else, or just watch on YouTube.

Craftsy is all screwed up!! Stay Away!!!

Craftsy is all screwed up!!! I used to like Craftsy, but after I bought a year subscription they changed over to this Blueprint crap, or got bought out or something, but it is horrible now You can't even get ahold of customer service. You're told for the year subscription that ALL craftsy classes are free, but that's not true, you end up being put over onto Blueprint where not all the classes are even there, not even close, and only those classes can you view for free. Trying to get help is a run around from page to page. They literally take you in circles with each click. No joke! Its set up this way intentionally, it has to be. No help. They just charged my card $128 for a new years subscription and I can not even find out how to cancel or get ahold of anyone. There's no phone number or anything. Read Christopher's review below. He's right. All these 5 starts are bogus and fake. I'm sure there will be a bunch of 5 stars after I post this review too. Don't believe it. DO NOT use them. And you can't download the vidoes on the computer so that you can watch them at your convenience and not have to use internet, especially important for people with data caps on their internet. Not sure what happened with this company in 2018 or end of 2017 but Wow, what a way to ruin a company. Their main Craftsy page is a front, once you get in there, you get sent to Blueprint where nothing will ever be the same. NOT user friendly at all. I haven't seen any new classes in a year in sewing. Nothing new added. It's sad.
