If I could leave a zero star review I would. Based on the many negative reviews I would NEVER buy montpellier products. However upon purchasing our brand new show home last July the integrated appliances were already installed. We were unable to occupy premises at first and lived in our caravan utilising camp site laundry facilities. We therefore only used the washer from Sept 2025 for a retired couple so no major large family usage. The washing machine has broken this week after circa 6 months light use. No problem you think. They come with a 2 year warranty. There is a major problem that they only employ one engineer and he is not due in our area for 2 weeks. Just to look. Based on reviews unlikely to fix as they do not seem to carry parts and people have waited weeks. There are no launderette facilities in my area and with the current escalating fuel costs this is an atrocious situation. However, that is not all. When you voice your displeasure to the Engineer and send a follow up complaint to customer services, you get a call "having a go at you". Like it is my fault it is such a shambolic organisation.
Needless to say we have purchased another new machine from a known trusted manufacturer with known and trusted back-up support. This is being fitted in TWO DAYS.
What a shame a machine just 8 months old, only used for 6 will be scrapped.
Don’t buy Montpellier
Keep getting unsolicited calls about warranty so I’m giving a one star review.

Badly made products
Badly made products. Our washing machine touch screen never worked properly from the start. A year in it developed a door sensor issue. Had this fixed under warranty and then a year later developed the same fault. Touch screen was never fixed! I wouldn’t buy from this company again, there’s a reason the products are cheap… false economy.
AVOID!! Shoddy products and after sales care is seriously lacking!
I am having ongoing issues with my washing machine, which is still within its two-year warranty period.
The machine initially broke several weeks ago. After reporting the fault, a technician attended approximately one week later but arrived without the necessary parts. A further delay then occurred as the replacement parts supplied were damaged due to improper packaging and handling, resulting in another week without a repair. By the third week, the technician finally returned with usable parts and completed the repair.
The machine has now worked for only around two weeks, and the exact same fault has occurred again - it will not spin.
As a result of this failure, it is currently Friday evening and I am left with a full load of soaking wet washing sitting in my bath, with no means to complete the cycle. Previously, we were without a working washing machine for three weeks, which was extremely disruptive.
Throughout this process, I have received no meaningful apology, no compensation, and no reassurance that this product is of an acceptable standard. My concerns that the appliance is clearly unreliable and not fit for purpose have been ignored.
Very disappointing product and customer services.
I have a built-in Montpellier fridge freezer that is under two years old and therefore still within its two-year warranty. Unfortunately, the fridge section has stopped cooling while the freezer continues to work.
I contacted Montpellier customer services, but they refused to help because I had recently moved into the property and was not the original purchaser, despite the appliance being installed in the home and still within the warranty period.
At my own expense, I arranged for an independent service engineer to inspect the appliance. I was informed that the failure was caused by a coolant leak, most likely due to a manufacturing defect, and that there are no serviceable parts to repair this fault.
Despite this, Montpellier customer services declined to assist with either a repair or replacement of a product that has clearly failed prematurely within the warranty period. I am extremely disappointed both with the reliability of the appliance and with the unhelpful and inflexible attitude of Montpellier’s customer service.
I would not recommend Montpellier based on this experience

Repeated faults
Repeated faults. Faulted fan, repeated blown elements. I believe these products to be substandard and designed to fail just outside of gaurentee. Top oven is just a grill. Not worth the money paid life expectancy 2.5 years.Customer service are abysmal,to the point of suggesting it was the way i was using the appliance. Overall dangerously poor product from a morally corrupt company.
Upon further inspection the element part that was replaced was replaced by a part that is NOT compatible hence why it has failed following engineers visits. Reply on this review is a joke. Montpellier can not edit my experience i will share to warn other consumers. I find it petty to even nit pick over how I found grill/oven i have actually used with manufacturers retoric. Abysmal customer service follows you clearly.

It was a poor assessment
It was a poor assessment. I haven’t registered the product fully and satisfactory and the site went off. I haven’t registered not consented on the 2years Guarantee yet.

8 months in and still fighting for…
8 months in and still fighting for guarantee to be honoured! They agreed to replace the product(built in microwave) 6weeks ago and they still haven’t organised it! Lots of excuses and apologies but no professional action or genuine concern regarding customer care. They tried “fixing it” but each engineer that attempted to do this failed and ended up doing more damage to the product.

I would not recommend
I would not recommend, we purchased a washing machine approx 5 years ago and it broke just after warranty, crazy but was cheaper to buy another so we did just that in Oct 2023. It's out of their x2 year warranty, just called customer service and they won't even discuss sending an engineer to take a look and not even if I pay! May just be a broken belt! Terrible customer service and could not even give me a list of independent engineers, try trust a trader was the reply!

Montpellier Undercounter Retro Fridge Freezer MAB2035E
Beautiful cream, under counter fridge freezer, I collected mine, myself from Borshch, brand new, no dents. I just didnt trust online delivery elsewhere, without damage having read so many reviews where people were upset, but liked the design of the product.
This fridge freezer for my home has been the best investment I have made to date, to replace a 10 year Russell Hobbs refrigerator that stopped working. The refrigerator is very light and can be moved by yourself, the handles are not stainless steel, plastic sprayed with that finish. I got the shop to put mine on, added bonus so my door handles don't fall off.
However if the refrigerator is not properly wrapped in bubble wrap at corners and around the product, expect damage as it is made with what looks to be a softer hard plastic material. I can honestly see why so many were damaged during transit from online orders with delivery. I was just fortunate to see the condition in person and collect on the next day myself.
The Freezer section holds loads more than I was expecting, it is like a little deep tardis, very roomy and the fridge too. I added my own led light in the freezer part costing a couple of quid, just common sense, I did not get the reviews that complained after purchase, read the spec and description properly. The refrigerator It is tall, deep, but narrow. For me heighr wise it just fit under my kitchen top counter and is perfect for my small space. Very pleased. A*
Just hoping it lasts longer than 2 years, as I don't have money to throw around as I read a couple of reviews saying after 2 years their fridge freezer went, but they didn't state whether it was undercounter or not. Hoping not the case. Will extend warranty with Borshch anyway, just in case.
If you order online, be prepared for potential damage on arrival. My best advice, go somewhere you can purchase in person and at least ask for it to be wrapped with extra bubble wrap in the box. Borshch took mine out of the box, I was able to inspect it, and saw it wrapped in front of me on the day of collection. They were brilliant ensuring the product was wrapped properly.

Unbelievably bad
I never write bad reviews. This is a first.
My first cooker was delivered 31/10/24. Was replaced because it was a fire risk! If the power was on it was impossible to turn off the top oven and grill.
Cooker number two delivered 11/11/24
The subsequent faults I have experienced are too numerous to mention here. Faulty thermostats, plates not cooling down, warning lights not functioning etc. At one point TWO engineers attended to rewire it!
It is still not fully functional. The company contracted to undertake Montpelier repairs have recently asked for it to be written off and replaced again but Montpelier have refused.
I am now waiting for visit number 15 (FIFTEEN) from an engineer.
I have spoken to Customer Services, emailed and written to the CEO (not even an acknowledgement here).
At no time have I had an apology or acknowledgement of the time, energy and stress the situation has caused me.
Now, maybe this happened during the last repair, there is a small area of enamel damage on the front of the cooker. I really do not feel happy with continued use of my present appliance and request Montpelier give me a replacement.

American Fridge Freezer
American Fridge Freezer - be aware the top shelf cannot be used as it will freeze everything. Montpellier and Appliance World Online have refused to refund the item so we are left with a fridge that freezes everything on the top shelf under the chiller outlet unit. We've lost about 20% of capacity. Other than that fridge is ok, plastic very brittle but having lost 20% of capacity it isn't fit for purpose within 6 weeks of purchase and I cannot seem to get a refund. Be very cautious.

The only reason I purchased their washer was because it should match. No other reason. I would have far rather had a washer dryer had I known it wasn’t the same colour.

Poor Complaints Service
On the 23-10-25 I escalated my complaint, and one month has passed, but my escalated complaint has still not been dealt with: I actually addressed my complaint to the managing director.
Having not received any response, I then addressed my complaint to all three managing directors: I have still not received any response.
Of course, I did receive two three excuses.
This is very poor customer service, and totally unacceptable because the complaint centred on a very simple problem: I dread to think how they would have dealt with a complicated complaint.
To date, 04-12-2025, I have still received no response.
Lasted just 2 years
My mid-price Montpelier fridge broke down just after the 2 year warranty ran out. Also had flimsy plastic brackets holding up the door shelves.
