Do NOT get pierced in a Fashion Store
Had ear cartilage piercing here and had an allergic reaction! Had to re attend piercer and was sent to Boots for a confirmation that the earrings needed to be taken out. It was glaringly obvious! Now on amoxicillin as the infection spread to neck, head and shoulders. Apparently I’m still in my ‘healing phase’ and no support or offer of a refund ensued. Laughable at best. Please avoid having piercings in a fashion store they are not equipped to deal with complications or have an understanding of infection control. I cannot begin to explain how ill I’ve been. Customer service just wrote back to me with a load of fliff flaff. If I listened to them I’d still be ‘healing’ for the remainder of the 12 weeks and would’ve been quite ill. Stick to clothes and accessories because this, my darlings, is not your forté ! I will also be reporting to the local council to attend your premises and review your set up and practice methods. Also to note your piercer actually stated that she’s never seen this before. However previously she admitted problems with children she has pierced citing it’s the parents fault because they use ‘products’ such as conditioner which they don’t wash out properly. Hmmmmmmmm 🧐🤔 not entirely sure that’s the reason now……. Not a happy human at all with this Company. AVOID PIERCING IN MONSOON !

overpriced return label as a must
I have bought dresses for my daughter a couple of times there. They have very cute designs and beautiful party dresses. However their return policy is outrageous. Returns have to be done through their return portal and you have to accept a return label that is generated during this process. The cost for the label is to be deducted from the money that will be refunded. So far so good. However the cost for that return label is 25-50% higher than if you would send the order back on your own - THAT wont be accepted by Monsoon though. So they force you to accept an overpriced return label, probably to make money off of it. Never again!!!
Awful service
Ordered 3 things! Only received one. One was emailed 5 days later to say it wasout of stock, and the other was lost during delivery (I had to chase them). No response until I cancelled the transaction with my bank!

Went to Monsoon Birmingham after visiting two weeks ago. Yet again extremely helpful stsff Kim and Chloe very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to seeing all the lovely staff when refit completed got myself a lovely dress too!
Poor quality clothing falling apart
I bought a top costing much more than a similar top from budget supermarket. Top at 1/4 price still good condition. Top from Monsoon after 3 gentle washes frayed and shrunken. Terrible customer service. NO Service just sent same link 3 times that would not work for refund, then no replies. Awful- I personally will spend no more with this firm and will recommend all friends don't. Given other reviews I see now I am not the only one. Not worth the money.

Monsoon don't care about your consumer rights
Monsoon are refusing to offer a partial refund to repair a faulty zip in a dress I was sent. They are telling me I should shell out another £120 and order another dress. They have now stopped replying to my emails.

The worst and slowest customer service I have ever experienced Over 3 month now my money still not refunded, very frustrating contacted several times, wondering why it is so slowly like they building the world biggest house
3 months complaint after returned my items , NO refund at all !!
Three months have passed since I returned my in-fitting clothing ordered from the Monsoon website on 28th December 2024. I have never received a refund. Despite many empty promises in emails saying I would be refunded, I have received neither a refund nor an e-gift card.
Firstly denied they received my package on 25th Jan despite I show the delivery Compnay website information, the staff says because I didn’t have a “ blue hand written receipt “! When I told her we have electronic receipt and online tracking information! So please KEEP your hands written receipt when you return to Mosoon , in nowadays IT intelligence carrier industry! That could be an excuse for them to refuse to refund you !
On 28th March, they emailed me saying they would refund £131 after confirming they received my package on 7th March (tracking information confirmed). They said someone would call me from a “no caller ID” number to collect my card details. No one ever called, and still no money was refunded. Monsoon also never sent me an e-gift card.
No one from Monsoon has called me to collect my information, even after they offered me refuns £131 , but never refund me £131. Then, on 6th April, the manager, Nicola involved, she suddenly changed the content of the package after it had been in their possession for six weeks and reduced the refund amount to £74. Still, I have not received any money or an e-gift card.
Now after 7 weeks , clearly the manager Nicola suddenly changed the issue from a “delayed refund” to a “missing item dispute”! She is using this made-up excuse to continue refusing to refund me. They should have confirmed the number of items in my return package when they received it—either on 25th January or 7th March. Instead, the manager only changed the story on 6th April. It is very obvious this is a newly fabricated lie. It seems like they just don’t care, they play this game without ethics .
I am so fed up! I don’t understand why these people still won’t refund me after three months, even though they admitted on 7th March that they received my return. Seven weeks have passed, and they still refuse to refund me.
I cannot believe Mosoon customer service as a retailer have never tried to resolve the issue and staff just keep making excuses to refuse refund for a normal retuned items, even after sending multiple emails promising a refund that never came. What kind of company is this?!
I’ve sent more complaint emails to Monsoon because they still haven’t refunded me a single penny, even after three months. Then yesterday, a manager ZARA sent me an email encouraging me to claim my money through Small Claims Court or PayPal, she refuse to communicate wit me anymore. What a hell ? She still have not refund me at all ! She lied about they had refunded £74, which is completely untrue—no refund has been issued to me at all! She told me to file a PayPal chargeback, knowing full well that I can’t do that after 30 days.
I’m putting all this information here because I want the public to know their rights. So far, Mosoon still haven’t refunded me at all , even after admitting they received my returned package and promised a refund. They simply don’t take any action to physically refund my money.
Here is my message to the Monsoon manager:
You failed to process a refund within a reasonable time, violating basic consumer rights.
• You then attempted to deny the return, lied about the contents, and altered the delivery date to suit your narrative.
• You’ve misled, delayed, and manipulated the facts, all to avoid issuing a lawful refund.
Your repeated dishonesty and refusal to take responsibility is unacceptable. You have shown no dignity, integrity, or professionalism in handling this matter. This is not just about money—it is about principle. I am a business owner myself, and I believe honesty is the foundation of any reputable business. Your behaviour reflects a culture of dishonesty and customer exploitation.
Terrible quality bought around…
Terrible quality bought around Christmas a pair of slipper boots which have gone all bitty and collapsed on the back. Not good for the high price. Customer services aren't interested as I don't have the receipt. Even though I have sent pictures and product codes on them.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed - I have bought from monsoon very several years and never had a problem. However, this time I need to return an item, did the return online where it said I would be sent a copy of the QR code, as yet (1 week after) nothing has been sent, I have tried to WhatsApp them, as suggested by the online shop, to no avail. I have finally resorted to phoning, again online it states phone lines are open Mon-Sun, when I rang only open Mon-Fri. I think customer services need to get their act together or else this will be another high street brand going down the drain.

Ordered so much from here as love the clothes, but had 2 parcels say delivered and they haven’t been and quiet an expensive order I haven’t received, can’t seem to get through to anyone either, disappointed as really love this brand but now I’m put off ordering,
