From beginning to end the team at Mimik have made the whole process of moving home much simpler, easier and at a great price.
I took a couple of quotes for the move, not all visited the home but when Maya from Mimik came to check around I had a lot more confidence in the final quote as she asked the kind of questions that I wouldn't have thought of, checked around everywhere but was respectful too, making sure I was happy at every step.
The quote came through promptly and was really competitive, detailed all the items we had discussed and was easy to understand.
I had a little uncertainty around the details of the move and again the team at Mimik were supportive and helpful, booked the date of the move in and were able to deal with the uncertainty of a move to new home or storage for a short while.
The move itself incredibly smooth, a great team who were again very respectful of my home and belongings, friendly and very efficient getting everything loaded securely and safely. We kept in touch as needed during the move across country, a slight delay whilst I got the keys to the new house was no issue either.
Once complete I was invited to check not only the house but also check the lorry and make sure I was 100% happy before the team left site.
I've had a chance to unpack almost everything - I have quite a lot of fragile items and absolutely everything has arrived in one piece and was placed where I needed making it much easier to settle into the new home.
Sadly my next move will be well outside the area Mimik covers and I will be very had pushed to find a team as great as these guys.

We found Mimick Removal through Bark, for our 4 bedroom home move. They did an exceptional job. We are so glad we chose them. Kamal from the office was so professional on the initial visit, gave us a reasonable quotation and also agreed to get rid of some unwanted furniture items on the move day. Maya from the office was so helpful in providing us with the packing material as and when we needed them, and quick in responding to all communications.

On the day, the team arrived on time. They were so professional, pleasant, reassuring and told us not to worry and that they are going to take care of everything, and they actually did. They did a fab job in loading our stuff and also packed few items that we couldn't pack. They placed the items in the van so well. Their van was well equipped with lots of protective blankets for TVs and similar stuff. Not a single item was damaged in our move. The moving team worked non stop until all items were placed in the rooms we wanted. The also reassembled all our furniture. What an amazing team you are!

I can thoroughly recommend Mimik's services. They offered a competitive quotation, and were able to pack up our 4 bedroom house in day less than the time estimated from other firms. This doesn't mean they cut corners; far from it. The team worked incredibly hard for two days to get us moved on time and set up in our new home, taking great care and being unfailingly good-humoured and polite throughout. True to their Gurkha heritage, you could probably trust these guys with your lives never mind your fragile items.

Great work by Chandra and team. They created stress free environment created by the team for one of the most stressful part of the move. Very lively and smiling and even got our 6 years old engaged where possible. They were very accommodative and helpful and always wore shoe covers. All items were packed well and all boxes labelled. Helped move around a few furniture in the new house too.

Kamal and the team were so good in answering all of my queries in the run up to the move, friendly and professional at all times. Chandra and the other gentlemen who packed, loaded and unloaded for us were absolutely brilliant; so quick whilst maintaining care and professionalism. It was pouring with rain when we arrived at our new house, but they managed to unload everything with zero damage to any items. Such hardworking guys! A few of the removals team didn't speak much English, but there was always someone on hand who could help if something was being lost in translation.

We used Mimik for a recent house move and they were absolutely brilliant. Their quote was very competitive, and Kamal and Joy were extremely responsive in finalising details of the move and arranging timings for the days. The team on the day of moving out couldn't have been nicer or more efficient - they worked tirelessly and well into the evening to get everything packed and stored. They are also superhuman strong! We used them for storage for a few weeks whilst we waited for our completion on the new house which worked very well (and they kindly helped by keeping a headboard separate so that it could be collected to be reupholstered whilst in storage), and they were equally efficient and friendly on moving-in day. Chandra was great at organising the team. All round, a really great team of hard working and lovely guys to help during a stressful few days!!

Excellent move company using ex professional Gurkha soldiers. Bright, cheerful and lots of good natured banter made the move seamless and smooth. Did all our packing, relocated our effects to Devon the next day and made sure we were left with all items in the right place. Can’t recommend them enough and after half a dozen moves across the world over the last 10 years, this was undoubtedly the best experience. Well done!

Why did they unpack what we had already packed to repack it and in the process use my sewing patterns (which has been years worth of time and effort constructing) to use as packing paper when as part of the quote they should have brought packing material with them I am so angry that years of my hard work has been so carelessly destroyed.
They worked hard but were very disorganised and they did fit us in when we had been let down by another company but would I use them again? Probably not.

I hired Mimik removals to move me from Farnborough to Doncaster. I can not sing their praises enough. On time, slick in the execution with military precision.
