Millsteam Saddlery provide excellent…

Millsteam Saddlery provide excellent service. From purchasing online or lives or in the shop friendly efficient and excellent knowledge of products and equine needs. They also sorted out repair using their craftsman to repair riding boots that hadn’t even been purchased from them just fantastic! Highly recommended and they are competitive on price !

Genuine family business ,always happy to help and answer queries. Products sold are always good value and quality. Parcels always arrive packed well and on time. Ginny has an amazing memory and seems to remember customers size and preferences. Each product seems to be researched well. I have never had to return items Xx

No more orders, so sorry 😞

My previous order (there won’t be any more) I screenshot a bag from a website that was £42.99. I asked if I could get this at this price from them; yes of course. So ordered. Arrived, said oh so that’s plus £8 postage, no the bag is £69.99. Obviously I wouldn’t have purchased it from Millstream but from the other website had I know especially as it was free postage with the other site. I won’t use Millstream again

I sent the pic at the price the bag currently was on that website. Surely you could have explained you’d have to pay full price for it and told me to buy from that other web site where it was £42.99 as you could see. I used my points up as I was so disappointed and thought I’d probably not use you again I must admit as I took it as a big blow, as it was almost £30 difference and I thought you helped out your customers. I tried to come back a few weeks ago, but realised what I’d just purchased was also cheaper on another site and I think I’ll leave it. Thank you for the response, I was just very disappointed as I did think you could have explained I’d have to pay full price with you, instead of saying “look why don’t you get it there for nearly £30 less than I can get it”. I preferred to give you the business that was all so asked the question “could you get it”.

EDIT 2 on your website it says “price match and free UK postage over £50. I even chose not to use that as Royal Mail are unreliable, but I don’t get why the price match wasn’t applied. I’d have just appreciated it if you’d explained you couldn’t price match and advised me as a valued customer to go elsewhere. Thank you for replying though.

Yes I could have said screw you & bought elsewhere but you told me you couldn’t return it so I paid for it with my points for you not to lose out. That is all. I can’t mention the name of the website where things are cheaper but I suspect most will know and this won’t seem to slow me to put up screenshots or I would.

And it was not at full price on the other site, they had dropped it from £59.99 (so less than your full price anyway) to £42.99 which you could clearly see as I had screenshot the reduction. I’d Spent thousands of pounds with you and was extremely upset but didn’t screw you over by buying the cheaper one and leaving you with the other bag so you haven’t lost anything except me.

Hi Beth I am very saddened by this. When you screenshot and asked for the bag it was at full price from another website and it had to be ordered specially for you as we didn't stock that item. Only after it was ordered in and arrived, did you try to cut us down on the price to pretty much how much it cost us to get in. We had to get it from germany so pay postage and import fees on it. I dont think that was fair really as we wouldn't have stocked the item otherwise. You agreed to pay for dpd postage as you don't like nor trust royal mail which is our free option. Either way you didn't actually pay anything for the bag as you used your points with us so intact you got it completely free so I'm.not sure how you could say this. We have been working with you regularly for over a year and it would have been great if you could have come to us and spoken to us about this first. It upsets us when our customers are not happy and we would like to work things through when there's a problem. We found it odd that you just disappeared, leaving the WhatsApp groups and stopping purchasing all of a sudden. Then you came back to purchase something else a couple of weeks ago. We are here to chat if youd like to resolve this as we would like to. Thank you Ginny

When you asked for the bag it was full price, that acts as the agreement. It wasn't on sale at the time. When it arrived with us you knock us down to a price that was pretty much less than what we paid for it. We took quite a personal blow too when we order something in specifically for you to help you put and keep you a happy customer with us. This has really upset me beth that you haven't just said something. At the end of the day you could have screwed us over by saying you didn't want it any more, purchased it from the other place but still kept buying from us. At the end of the day nearly everything you've had from us has been discounted rrp. Some items less than 50% off. The last purchase you made 2 weeks ago was a pair of hkm breeches at just £15 rrp over £80 and a martingale £10. Please show me a screenshot of these items for less? Its not possible they were dirt cheap. Please just message us to resolve this as it is a complete shame.

I've asked on a private message for you to provide a screenshot of the cheaper items but you haven't opened my message despite being online. So you must not be able to provide them.
You got the bag free in the end so actually we did lose the sale of the item. If youd have said you'd purchase else where we could have sold it and got money for it. But you asked for the item when it was full price, that's an agreement to purchase at that price. It was harsh to ask for it cheaper only after we had ordered it in specifically for you. I feel we are getting nowhere with this. I'm sorry you're not happy but you could have spoken to us about it all.
