I signed up on a whim and expected nothing more than another reminder app. Instead, Memorae turned into a tiny, reliable assistant that actually remembers the stuff I forget: my dentist appointment, my partner’s favorite coffee, and that obscure invoice due next Tuesday. The WhatsApp flow is surprisingly natural, no clunky menus, just a short message and it’s done. One weird but delightful thing: it suggsted a reminder to prep a gift for my mom’s anniversary and even proposed two local florists; that saved me a last-minute panic.

Not perfect, syncing with my work calendar took an extra nudge, but customer support replied within the same day and resolved it. If you’re the kind of person who loses tabs on small but important things, Memorae quietly becomes the background tool you didn’t know you needed.

I’m a mess with schedules, always running from one place to the other due to my awful organization and this is actually keeping me on track. I love the feature of the daily briefings in the morning!

I didn’t think I would use it as much, but now I just text him every day and he reminds me of everything: meetings, stuff to buy, and especially friend’s birthdays or groceries. Very useful!

Love this product. If you are a regular user of WhatsApp then this is the bomb. It's a reminder solution that fits effortlessly into your life. It's easy, intuitive, and just works, and more.

Very scammy, despite cancelling within 7 days, (the advertised 7-day-free-trial) they charge you an annual subscription.

Memorae stated below “Definitely not how Memorae is supposed to behave,” but I want to clarify that everything described in my original review is tied to actual support tickets I opened with their team.

For each of the issues I mentioned, I contacted Memorae through their official support email. I received replies from IT Support (Pablo, “chaos buster”), and those responses directly acknowledged the problems I experienced. None of this was based on assumptions; it came from documented conversations with their support staff.

My review reflects the product’s behavior as I encountered it and the guidance provided to me by Memorae’s own team. I’m sharing this simply to keep the record accurate and transparent for anyone reading these reviews.

Below are their actual replies for each issue I encountered.

1. Calendar integration:
"As of now we don't have this feature, we'll try to have it by the end of this year."

2. Conversation Flow:
"Unfortunately all AI's hallucinate, and our job is to make sure hallucinates the least possible, as sometimes it's tricky for them to understand all context even if we humans find it really logical. That being said, every time you report a case like this we "add it" to his training and it doesn't occur again, so thanks! Will send it to our engineers so he remembers better context next time."

3. Timezone errors: The issue was reported to support at memorae.ai on 7/10/25 and, despite several follow-up clarifications, it was never resolved.

4. Recurring reminders on the same day of each month: "Currently, Memorae doesn’t support recurring reminders on the exact same date each month (like the 15th). The closest option is to repeat reminders every 30 days, which may not perfectly align with months that have 31 days."

Below was my original review

I tested Memorae for three weeks, and while the idea of having an AI personal assistant is genuinely appealing—especially for a working parent like me with two young kids—the app still needs a lot of refinement before it can deliver on its promise.

The concept is strong, but in practice it didn’t work for what I needed: helping me stay on top of my family’s busy calendar.

Main issues I encountered:

1. Calendar integration: Memorae doesn’t properly support secondary Google Calendars. I have separate calendars for each family member (and even our pet), but when I say “create an event in [child’s name]’s calendar,” it still adds everything to my main default calendar.

2. Conversation flow: The AI doesn’t always understand commands. I often had to repeat myself several times before it responded correctly, which made it feel more like extra admin work than help.

3. Timezone errors: All-day events don’t display correctly for my local UK timezone. For example, before the clocks changed, an all-day event for 24–27 Oct (UTC+1) showed as 24 Oct 01:00 AM to 28 Oct 12:00 AM. It’s confusing and makes planning harder.

4. Recurring reminders: there is no option to set a recurring reminder on the same day of each month (ie. Every 15th of the month)

Because of these issues, I decided to cancel my subscription.

Problem on Whatsapp Beta in Turkey. Saying On the WhatsApp Beta program on my computer, Memorae chat is not available. I get the warning: “This business cannot chat with phone numbers that include your country code.” I logged out of WhatsApp Beta and back in again; I was able to exchange a couple of sentences, but then the same error started showing up again. If this is resolved quickly, I’ll keep using it since it’s useful for me, but having to type only from the phone is really frustrating. PLS Help

random events don't show up on my calendar and it's forgetting to send me my reminders so often!!

I was really excited by this tool to start with. It’s a great idea to be able to create lists and reminders via WhatsApp and process them all in one place. Unfortunately, however, the execution isn’t quite there yet. Despite synching my calendars with it, some events randomly get missed and so far it has “forgotten” two of the three lists I’ve used it to create. I’ve had to track back through the WhatsApp thread to “remind” it. Not really what you want from a memory tool. It’s a good idea and an appealing interface, but it doesn’t yet work well enough to be a reliable tool.
