My now 8 year old nephew LOVED his STEM kits so much that he was automatically switched to physics kits when he completed all the STEM during year 2. We’ve now signed him up for a 3rd year, doing chemistry. The quality of the materials is really good. His younger sister has kits from another company and you can really tell a difference in the quality!

The experiments were interesting and engaging and varied. I had a great time doing them with my kids. The assembly for some of the experiments could be a bit tricky at times since some of the wooden pieces were fragile enough that it was difficult to put them together without bending/breaking a part, even when careful, but that was rare. The learning that accompanied the experiments was interesting and easy to understand even for my 8/9 yo.

My grandson loved the kits. One issue was they were not able to access the QR codes for the math kits. Being able to easily get paper instructions would be helpful.

The products are very good and provided hours of fun for my grandchildren.

The kits come with everything you need. The material is not cheap or break easily. They will be able to play with what they create more than once. There are several activities in each box all aligned with the same topic. The video lesson to go with it helps to make sure they are doing it correctly and you are not left trying to figure it out on your own.

Thank you so much for an amazing experience for my son for all these years. He is graduating high school and heading to Yale where he plans to be a geology and physical sciences major. He is grateful for the years with MEL Science, and very appreciative, in fact he just told me so. I would highly recommend this to any child and wish you all well.

After subscription i have received only one box. Second charge was made but no box were send. When i tried to cancel my subscription they offered my free delivery with promise that they eill contact my in order to resolve an ussue but this never happened. At the end i have canceled ny subscription but did not receive niether a second box neither mony back. Stay away

after I posted this review, i was contacted by MEL Science. Thay had made a refund. So I am fixing this review from 1 star to 3 because of whole that experience. That is really sad that men has to write bad review here in order to solve the problem!

3rd box in, and we’re missing the main piece of the entire project. My oldest son has a subscription to Crunch Labs, which is cheaper and a lot better quality. Comes with videos to teach you the science behind the experiment and walks you through each step. On year two and we’ve never missed a piece for an experiment.

The MelScience activities have been outstanding! My son loves to have us do them together so he can share what he learned.
The only downside is the high cost. Having videos on the app and all supplies included do make it worth it, but it’s still expensive.

The kits were always interesting, great for any child that is even remotely interested in science. They enjoyed every experiment they ran, always a good learning experience as well!

Every item was thought provoking and of quality construction. I recommend them to anyone who wants to expand their child’s mental and physical capabilities.

I don't recommend MEL Science at all. First of all, I moved house and changed address in their website, but they sent the box for the old one. Customer service don't reply for my messages at all. Also it is not worth it, just check any science sets, you will get 150 experiments for 20 quids instead of few from MEL for 35 per month.

I absolutely would recommend completely steering clear of this. My experience with the customer service team has been unhelpful and intentionally obtuse. My first experience involved my purchase of one of their boxes to which months later had not received to then discover my order was 'lost'. After contacting the support team they instead tried to offer me a different box to which I responded I did not want because why would I? I wanted the initial box which was completely different. Fast forward a few more months I received my refund, however I then discovered I'd somehow managed to become subscribed and was being charged without my knowing. Contacted support, received a refund, fair game maybe I pressed their subscribe button by accident. Come today, and I have been charged, again, how? I have no clue, but these guys are just not worth the trouble, clearly they are disorganised and have no idea how to run a business and have completely inconvenienced me on days where I would have liked to go for a grocery shop etc. Not to mention their website has no easy way for you to remove card details or delete your account, Its all through support which lo and behold are useless.

These were fun and easy to follow building projects. My 6 year old followed it by himself and he loved it. I love that it was easy to sign up and easy to leave. What I didn’t like is, it’s the cheapest material possible. It was too expensive for the material to be that flimsy and such low quality. Other than that it was fun and the process was simple.

Our grandson had a subscription to MEL Science for years. The projects were interesting. The quality of the materials was first rate. Customer service was terrific. I would recommend this company to anyone. We only stopped because our grandson is in his mid teens and has moved on to other interests.

V Sauce Curiosity boxes delays and lack of customer support.

One of the boxes I ordered never arrived. The customer service seems really amateurish and is very slow to reply.

Last request I sent regarding this delay was two weeks ago and despite a few chasers they are ghosting me.

The kits are great. We began our journey with the Physics subscription but switched to Chemistry due to the kid's preferences. He has enjoyed performing the experiments, some of them more than once. If you've got a curious, science oriented kid, I wholly recomend them.

We did enjoy our kit, however the last 3 kits have never arrived to me. For the last of the three orders the delivery guy asked to pay 12€ taxes. It has never been communicated by Mel Science that they would cover the fees, so I refused to take the box. I contacted their customer support with that issue and they said that they would refund, however the box was already gone. Then a few times I asked to send me the three missing boxes again. There was no reaction to that, so in the last email I asked to either send me the boxes or unsubscribe me and refund. The next day they refunded me. It's a pitty that they chose the easier option since I would have loved to continue paying them money and receiving my boxes.

Was a great experience for my son, excited to get the boxes every time. They worked with me during summer breaks and transitioning when I moved from Europe to US. Awesome!
