A very caring member of your company phoned regularly to check up on my progress and given advise when needed.

I had a consultation with Mr. Richard Freeman Orthopaedic surgeon at the Nuffield Hospital who put me in contact with Medbelle for a quote and treatment plan. My patient care advisor was Grace Rivett, who was very friendly, professional with a lovely nothing is too much trouble manner. Mr Freeman is a highly skilled surgeon who performs minimal invasive surgery, who I would not hesitate in highly recommending. Medbelle, Mr Freeman and Grace have all given me reassurance and guidance throughout my treatment and I would not hesitate in using them again and highly recommend them to anyone.

Knowing someone was following your progress

Following a detailed consultation with surgeon Mr Gavin Love in Dundee I decided to proceed with a full Confomis knee replacement. Bethany from Medbelle was my personal advisor and led me through the entire journey from start to finish over the coming 4 months, leading me to the operation, financing of and full recovery treatment inclusive of physiotherapy appointments. Along with Mr Love and his surgical team, the hospital staff and Medbelle I wish to convey my heartfelt thanks for their wonderful service and care. Having (sadly) given up waiting on the NHS, I had total knee replacement surgery privately at the Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen, carried out by Mr James Bidwell. Mr Bidwell could not have been more helpful and considerate (and skilful!), but is obviously a busy man who I would not want to bother with minor queries.

Medbelle offered a package deal (in partnership with BUPA) that was marginally cheaper than directly with the hospital, but more importantly I had Jack Smith from Medbelle as my "patients pathway supervisor". He was able to reassure me beforehand about minor issues relating to the surgery and my short hospital stay, and was then a reassuring contact at regular intervals thereafter to make sure that my recovery was going well and I had no issues that were causing me concern.

I felt Jack was always there for me, and could have raised any issues on my behalf with the hospital (although mostly he was able to advise me from his past experience with other patients recovering from similar operations). I felt the combination of Mr Bidwell's care and Jack's reassurance helped keep my spirits high and speeded my recovery, especially during the first week when there was a bit of a battle getting my operation wound to properly heal.

Just over 6 weeks after the operation, I have now been 'signed off' by Mr Bidwell. I still have a lot of work to do before I can regain full mobility, but Medbelle will still be there to guide me if I have any problems.

The other knee will need replacement before too long. I am hoping the NHS might come to the rescue this time, but, if I have to go the expensive route once more, I would certainly consider using Medbelle again to guide me and support me through the (somewhale traumatic) process. It's not an easy ride, but others who have undergone the operation before assure me that I will not regret it.

Hip replacement surgery at the Nuffield Hospital, Haywards Heath.
Done privately through Medbelle who were excellent throughout. Immediate support before and after the procedure from Bethany at Medbelle. Professor Benedict Rogers performed the op and was encouraging throughout. Nothing but praise.

I had a telephone consultation with Beth then had emergency surgery so did not need to pursue it. Beth was really helpful taking my details and following it up by email and phone. I felt reassured in her hands but did not undergo the physical Medbelle experience so am unable to comment on that.

Medbelle and Mr Gavin Love and Kings Park Hospital

I first contacted Tayside Complete Health, Dundee independently for an appointment to be seen by orthopaedic surgeon Mr Gavin Love who explained after my examination that my knees were crying out for surgery.
He explained fully the benefits of a total knee replacement operation but also pointed out the things that could go wrong with this type of surgery. I was impressed by his compassion and felt he understood how the pain in my knees were affecting my quality of life.
I decided due to a previous trauma on one of my knees and the explanation by Gavin Love of Knee Replacement options to opt for a customised knee replacement.
Mr Love gave me an approximate date for surgery and costs and gave me information and contact details of Medbelle care programme.
Medbelle have been involved since the start of this journey and Bethany A, Medbelle Care advisor has made this process so easy and has kept in contact by telephone every step of the way. She has been excellent in organising all the scans prior to surgery along with Bupa membership, liaising with Kings Park Hospital Stirling for pre assessment appointments and also arranging physiotherapy near to my home. Bethany A has been a great support to me and my wife and is friendly competent and professional and continues to keep in touch by phone to make sure everything is ok.
The Operation by Gavin Love has been totally successful and He and I are amazed how mobile I am
after 6 weeks and I cannot thank him enough for his expertise. On my recent examination he is very satisfied with his work and my progress.

My operation was at Kings Park Hospital Stirling where I received the best of care and attention from all the staff.
My other knee may need done in the not-too-distant future and I would certainly have no hesitation in going through the same procedures involving Gavin Love and Medbelle and Kings Park Hospital

A very stress free experience lots of help from you care advisor, I had 2 Pat who was my initial contact who unfortunately left and was great help, he passed me on to the delightful Beth she has been keeping in touch with me weekly after my hip replacement operation. The whole experience has been good

My regular contact with my allocated supporter was excellent, always there to offer support and advice.
Despite some hiccups with the administration when the consultant changed the venue I was satisfied with Medbelle.

I started by doing my homework and Mr.P Trikha was the obvious choice to perform my knee replacement. During the discussion process Medbelle was suggested as a full package. I decided to go with it as everything was included and Laura was assigned to me as my Patient pathway and she looked after everything, a very pleasant and happy person that put me at ease, any queries I had she would investigate and get straight back to me. Nothing was too much trouble.
With my experience I would certainly recommend going with Medbelle.

Three shires hospital were very friendly and professional in their service. My operation was explained In full by Mr Rasul, what I should expect. The aftercare was very tailored made to my needs as was the physio sessions. I and my husband are very pleased and grateful for their support and assistance during my time pre/post operation.

I recently underwent knee surgery through Medbelle, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the entire process. From the beginning to the post-operative care, everything was handled seamlessly.

Mr Deo (Orthopaedic Consultant) and Grace (personal advisor) at the Medbelle team gave an excellent service. From consultation to advice about the operation and the subsequent treatment I could not fault them. Knee replacement done in Spire Hospital with kind caring staff and good physiotherapy support post-op. Only needed 2 nights in hospital before discharge home. Doing the recommended physiotherapy has given an excellent result.

From start to finish my contact at medibelle Grace kept me informed as to what to expect,treatments and timescales. If she did t k is the answer straight away she came back to me I a timely manner. Peter Thompson my surgeon was always excellent!!!
