Had a major issue with overheating on a Bentley Bentayga 4.0 V8, we are in the motortrade so needed to find a place that had the care, skill and knowledge to sort this issue in order that we could sell the car on. MDM did a superb job at a very fair price (nearly 1/2 what a Bentley main dealer quoted, they used genuine parts and the car was sorted quickly and effectively. Mark took my Q7 in at short notice and identified a major fault with the AD Blue pump swiftly. He was transparent and up-front with the cost of repairs and got to fix it straight away. He had my car back on the road in no time.He was diligent, friendly and very professional, I will no doubt be using his services from now on and highly recommend MDM Technik.

MDM Technik is a great garage providing quality service for my Audi. I especially travel from my home in High Wycombe to this garage. I was tempted to use a more local garage recently, but after a brief interaction I realized why MDM is worth the effort. I am not the only one; I have previously met one customer who brings his Audi all the way from Reading to MDM.

It is a great garage providing good quality and reasonably priced servicing. Will definitely recommend them and will continue using MDM.

Mark and MDM Technik are amazing, really good at what they do.

Some background story, the engine of my slightly aged Audi S3 8P 2010 unfortunately went (completely stock at that time, with full Audi Service History), at around 197,000 miles (timing chain snapped), while driving towards my Sunday morning coffee at around 40mph. I decided to have the engine rebuilt instead of getting a new car, as I was quite fond of the car I already had.

I went to a neighbourhood garage (Audi approved) to have it rebuilt and, 6 months later, the work was done and I got the car back. When I got it back though, even though the car was working, things were just not right. The car would not always start the first time, it was hesitating, stalling at random times, doing weird gear shifts, hesitating a lot at 1st/2nd gear and low RPMs, and burning way more fuel than it should. The garage could not figure out what was wrong with it, stating that all the ECU checks were showing fine, suggesting changing random parts of the car as a fix. After a couple of of months of back and forth, changing parts in the car and seeing no change, I stopped trusting that garage and I went to another garage, asking them to figure out what was wrong with the car. They also could not figure out what was wrong with the car, as all ECU checks were showing fine.

Finally, I decided that a tuning shop may have been a better option for figuring out why the car was not working as it should, and that's how MDM Technik comes into the picture.

I described all the weird issues I was having with the car to Mark from MDM Technik and made a simple, concise request, MBAWRA (Make the Bloody Audi Work Right Again). I dropped the car to MDM Technik for inspection, and, to my positive surprise, I got a call from Mark a couple of hours later describing to me in detail what was wrong with the car (various components in the engine, not just one, were misaligned, not misaligned enough to trigger a threshold check, but misaligned enough to cause a cumulative effect, manifesting as compression loss, power loss, incomplete fuel burn and harsh engine performance, and ... a couple of bolts were loose). At that time I thought that Mark either really knew his stuff in depth or he was a bloody good salesman.

I decided to go ahead with the fixes as suggested and when I got the car back the next day ... wow ! The car was transformed! All engine issues magically disappeared, the throttle suddenly became responsive again, the car became snappy, all engine start problems went away, all weird stalls went away, all weird gear up/down shifts went away and the car started effortlessly launching at traffic lights again! It's hard to put put into words how much the car was transformed. The car literally felt like new!

Mark explained to me of all the work he had done on the engine, why the car was not working ok before and why it was working ok now, all of it making perfect sense.

Conclusion: Mark really knows his stuff!

I also did a couple of 0-60s and the car was achieving the times as if it had come straight out of the factory! Literally, like new!

After having had the car working flawlessly as stock for a couple of months (after all the magnificent work that MDM Technik put into it), I got confident enough and "greedy" enough to go back for a Stage 1 upgrade. Sure enough, the upgrade was performed with no issues and the car is now even faster!

Having had the Stage 1 for a few months now I can confirm that I had zero issues with it. Everything is working fine, only the car is noticeably snappier!

Would I go back for a Stage 2? Yes, when the budget permits so.

Would I recommend MDM Technik? I would wholeheartedly do.

Previously thought this company had closed down but they are still there and provided excellent service for my Audi S4 recently.

Terrible company, sold me parts and then cancelled the order after deciding they where £80 too cheap (over 1200 worth). The order had been accepted and paid for but the owner decided to ignore basic contract law.

He was rude in emails and spat the dummy after being called out.

Had my A3 8p 2.0tfsi go in for a stage 2+ TVS DSG software upgrade.... Was a minor miscommunication with them and the main dealer (TVS), but all was rectified very quickly and had my car in and out before I knew it.
Would highly recommend these guys and will be using them again for a remap on my Downpipe decat coming soon!!

Mark was very helpful, got his head screwed on and was very well communicated towards me throughout!!! Can't knock the guy!

Great job by Mark fitting my Golf R Mk 7 with a stage 2 Revo kit and sports clutch. Car drives amazing since the work was done and always use MDM for servicing ever since. Mark's a great guy - knowledgeable, trustworthy and always available for advice and guidance on tuning. 100% recommended!

I’ve used MDM Technik for the last 6 years. I initially took my R8 to Audi but once I found MDM I never went back to Audi. I have a 2008 car, MDM have routinely serviced my car, periodically fixing any issues that have arisen always explaining the items to me.
I drive my car every year with a tour group to Monaco & we go into the mountains so I need my car to be in top condition.
I would highly recommend MDM.

Simply a disgrace. Cancelled my brake disc order the next day as didn't want to honour a new customer 10% discount code and the item list price. What can I say! Therefore, I will not recommend.

Mark is a great guy who know what he’s doing. Upgraded my 2018 RS3 with revo software and I couldn’t be happier. Also he’s brilliant at after sales advice etc and responds really quickly to emails and messages unlike other garages I have used (cough Litchfield cough!). Defo a recommendation from me!
