Fantastic holiday well set out itinerary really enjoyed the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe trip and the swiss pass was really useful on buses and trains would recommend

From the moment we made an enquiry to experiencing the holiday itself, it has been a 5 star experience. Hayley responded to all our queries patiently and promptly, as it was the first time for us to travel via train to Switzerland. She even recommended and provided tips and advice on where to eat at different stops. The hotels she booked were marvellous and fulfilled all our requirements. We had the most amazing holiday celebrating my husband's 60th birthday because Marvellous Escape was very detailed in their planning(even to choosing our seats on the Bernina express and other trains) and their organisation was simply amazing. To be able to communicate via WhatsApp when you are travelling is so helpful when you are travelling, so thank you to Hayley and the overall Marvellous Escape team (also Paul). I can't thank them enough for a memorable experience!

This is my first encounter with Marvellous Escapes and definitely won’t be the last. I am very impressed with their efficiency and knowledge. No hard selling either just genuine helpfulness. Very friendly and helpful support from Hayley to plan our rail tour of Spain. Very efficient provision of itinerary and travel arrangements and a change of plan was accommodated without fuss.

From the moment I called up and spoke to Laurie I knew I was in good hands. Laurie took the time to find out what we wanted from our trip, what was important to us, so she could tailor the itinerary accordingly. Very happy with her recommendations. She called us at the time we arranged, and made sure we understood what was included in our trip. The itinerary is laid out very simply and in a format that is easy to follow and understand.

There was a wide range of holidays by train on offer. Each 'package' was carefully explained to me by the very enthusiastic and knowledgeable agent. Although I felt under no pressure to book a holiday, I was so impressed that I purchased one almost at once.

We wanted to thank Hayley from Marvellous Escapes for organising our wonderful festive holiday in Switzerland which included travelling on the Glacier Express & Bernina Express.
We contacted several travel agents including our local agent to book our holiday but none of them seemed to be knowledgeable enough about train holidays.
After a lot more research I found Marvellous Escapes via Facebook where they had a post all about the Glacier and Bernina Express.
I called they straight away!
I expained everything to Hayley & I knew immediately that Hayley was going to be the one to help us book our special holiday.
Within an hour of going through everything we wanted to experience on our holiday Hayley had put together an amazing itinerary, flights etc at a great price.
Hayley went through every detail over the phone & had so much knowledge & expertise having stayed in the areas we were going to visit.
Hayley also sent over a list of essential packing, local information, restaurant recommendations with insights into what they offered, price range etc all with links so we could check them out beforehand.
We were also sent an invitation to their WhatsApp group which gives 24 hour on trip support .
When our itinerary arrived it was presented in a beautiful A4 felt envelope for safe keeping.
The itinerary had been separated into sections for flights, trains, hotels, tickets etc so really easy to put your hands on the paperwork you needed at the time.
This was also sent to us electronically too incase we lost anything.
It just felt such a personal experience.
Marvellous Escapes really made our booking feel valued by sending out a wonderful surprise gift from a famous renowned luxury department store & a follow up call on our return from Hayley for a post holiday catch up.
I honestly can't recommend Marvellous Escapes enough.
1st class service all the way.
So much so that we have already booked our next holiday with them!

Although we have not yet been on our ‘marvellous escape’ yet - the entire process leading up to it has been amazing. Laurie has been amazing from the beginning, listening to our needs and adapting whatever she could to deliver us a perfect holiday. My holiday in Switzerland was very well planned The documentation was full and clear and also received a phone call to ask if I had any queries.
The hotels they chose were all excellent and the restaurants suggested were also very good.
The itinerary left me plenty of time to explore the towns I visited so I really made the most of my time and the Glacier Express is just fantastic!
