So disappointed as service had been previously good
So disappointed, had a new cleaner, Alex - had Tom before and he was so friendly. However Alex cleaned the front windows and disappeared completely without saying anything. I contacted the firm and was told that as there was an empty wheelie bin in front of the unlocked gate to the back garden he was unable to gain access so he just cleared off. Now, he could have asked me to move it, he could have come through the house, i could have opened the very back gate if he'd wanted - however just going without a word was unacceptable. Ms Maran at the firm was not helpful, apparently an empty wheelie bin is too much of an obstruction and she refused to see my point that Alex could - SHOULD - have communicated with me before leaving. She was so unhelpful that I had to cancel the contract.

I am sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with the service we’ve provided.
We kindly ask that access is made clear for our arrival, if this isn’t possible we will clean what we’re able to and adjust the invoice to reflect this. Your bin was barricading the back gate and there was no way Alex was able to move this.
We will never risk damaging customer property by trailing our equipment through the house. This is due to the type of equipment we use and is stated within our terms and conditions, and in the confirmation email sent to you when signing up with us.
We will attend the appointment on the provision that the property and surrounding area are well maintained. Due to health and safety, our cleaning operatives may be unable to complete the service if working conditions are unsuitable, i.e., dog mess, overgrown gardens etc.
It was noted that on multiple occasions conditions were severely unsafe due to the dog mess. This has required us to sterilise our equipment following each clean - normally this would include a penalty charge, which we did not apply.

The windows looked beautiful and clean. Only thing that surprised me was that the two glass panels to my front door which are visible were not cleaned. Maybe that’s not part of the service…?
