After spilling a tiny bit of coffee laced with honey, on my 2015 MacBook Pro keyboard it stopped functioning properly. Apple Support were no help.
I was at my wits end looking for somewhere to fix it for over a month, and other repair services also didn’t want to know either and we’re not interested as my Mac was nearly ten years old.
I finally found eFIX, who only specialises in fixing MacBooks; when I read their reviews from their customers, I decided that this was the company to fix my Mac; I was very wary about sending my computer via the post, I rang them and they said that the would send me pre-paid packaging which I could purchase on their website…Best decision that I have ever made!
They completely replaced the keyboard and tidied up other minor issues, the Liquid Damage / Water Recovery Service was £160, a price I am very happy

Does what it says on the tin: easy to send my macbook, quick excellent repair, macbook retuned in 100% working order for a reasonable price. Will definitely use them again if I damage it again.

Highly recommended - very speedy, and kept me updated regularly with the progress of the repair. They were also very thorough, and spotted a couple of additional issues unrelated to my original issue, which they offered to fix for a reduced price.

Had Macbook Air A1466 originally purchased Nov 2014 that was not powering on.

Contacted eFix (alias macbook-repairs) on 14 April 2025 and received an email with a label to post to them the same day for diagnostic test. eFix received the macbook by lunch on 15 April. Reported logic-board repair needed (£160 incl. VAT and shipping). Authorised end 15th April.

16:06 16th April eFix reported repair success and also offered to repair 2 worn key-caps for £5. Paid by end of day. Due to easter, return delayed until 22 April. Received back lunch 23 April.

I got my late 2013 MacBook Pro repaired with an absolutely fantastic service! It required a logic board repair, which isn’t something any other company can easily do. In fact, I never thought my Mac can be repaired since even Apple turned me down. Therefore, I ordered a free insured postage provided by efix, and shipped it to them. I got notified once my machine arrived. Reece from efix communicated with me from the very beginning with top professionalism. I got an update frequently. Therefore, I had a clear picture about the state of the repair. My Mac needed extra battery too, which was offered with a decent discount. The price was clearly communicated with me. They proceeded with repairs only when I gave them green light. Lastly, the Mac was well packaged and delivered pretty much next day. I would recommend efix any time any day. Thank you!

Cannot recommend enough. Sent my MacBook in for repair due to liquid damage. Reece was super helpful in sending an initial quote, kept me updated the whole way through with necessary & optional repairs etc. Received my laptop today and it honestly looks brand new. Excellent service! Sent in a completely dead 2019 MacBook Pro and they were able to bring it back to life, and it now works perfectly. Simple and fast process. Very reasonably priced in my opinion, especially compared to Apple's own repair prices.

Ive just had a Flexgate repair to my 2017 Macbook Pro. Totally seamless experience with exemplary customer service and my Macbook was returned looking like new! I was kept informed throughout the process and the repair was completed within a few days I cannot recommend these guys highly enough and wont hesitate to use them again should the need arise..

Cannot recommend this company enough. I water damaged my Mac (idiot) and was quoted around £800 to repair it by a certified Apple refurbisher. My Mac is a 2020 model so it just wasn't worth it, I spotted eFix online and put my faith in them. From the start Reece was so communicative, emailing at every step to keep me updated on the status of my repair. Just had it returned today and it looks better than it did previously! And of course is all fixed, for a much more reasonable price than I was quoted by Apple. Thank you so much for the amazing work you've done, can't thank you enough.

I recently asked eFix to renew the battery in my 2014 Macbook Pro. They did this quickly and efficiently, and were very responsive to my questions. They even checked and cleaned the thunderbolt ports for free when I mentioned that they seemed unreliable. Highly recommended.

Exceptional service. I have had two MacBooks repaired by eFix, one needed a new screen as I cracked it by shutting the cover with something lodged in the hinge area, the other was a battery replacement and to replace a crackling speaker. The worrisome aspect of posting off one's Mac is in fact faultlessly handled due to the pre-paid label Post-Office drop-off arrangement eFix provides. Both computers returned within a matter of days in perfect working order. Highly recommended.

I’m so happy I found efix. From start to finish the communication was excellent. The response times to my queries was so quick and I was kept fully up to date throughout the whole process.
