Stay away from their inverter. I'm waiting for my fourth replacement after three have stopped working in just two years.
The worst part is that they are replacing with a REPAIRED one instead of a new one.
They replaced one in October and it stopped working after couple of weeks.
Stay away from this company.

Beware of LuxpowerTek and Solar Power Store Canada: dishonest, poor support
I received a Luxpower LXP6K SNA US 6000 hybrid inverter as a gift and went through major trouble getting it working. Solar Power Store Canada demanded a receipt or order number to help me—even though it was a gift. Without proof of purchase, they refused assistance.
LuxpowerTek has been completely unresponsive to my emails sent on June 27 and July 9. Yet they quickly reply to Trustpilot complaints to paint themselves as a responsible company. But when it comes to real technical issues, they vanish.
Here is the situation:
-I need help manually entering battery parameters for my BigBattery Rhino 48V 14 kWh 276 Ah unit.
-The inverter’s green LED is blinking slowly, which indicates a firmware upgrade is needed.
-I downloaded the firmware from their website, but when I try to install it, the inverter says I already have the latest version—yet the blinking persists.
Despite including the battery settings and both serial numbers (inverter and dongle), I have received no response.
To put things in perspective, I also use Victron solar systems in my cabin and RV, and they work flawlessly. Whenever I need support, Victron’s customer service responds within six hours and resolves the issue immediately. If this had not been a gift, I would absolutely have chosen Victron.
I will update this review next month to let you know whether they finally resolve my issue, but I do not have high hopes. I just want to give a heads‑up to anyone researching their solar options.
UPDATE -1- 07-15-2025
For your reference, my first email was sent to techsupport@luxpowertek and the second to usa@luxpowertek. Unfortunately, I never received a reply from either address.
I also contacted Solar Power Store Canada multiple times. We exchanged many emails, but despite all the back and forth, they refused to help. Instead of simply verifying whether the inverter was purchased from their store—especially since their own store stickers were on the brand new box—they focused solely on denying support because I didn’t have the original receipt. That kind of attitude reflects very poorly on your distributor network.
As of now, I have just sent an email to sales@luxpowertek with all the details and serial numbers as requested. I sincerely hope someone follows up this time and actually helps resolve the issue.
UPDATE -2- 07-16-2025
Issue Resolved – Upgraded to 4 Stars
LuxpowerTek customer service contacted me the day after I posted my review and quickly helped resolve the issue. It turns out that battery parameters can only be entered by LuxpowerTek remotely or by a certified installer.
That is a bit of a downside. I really wish the interface were more user friendly and allowed users to input or tweak battery settings directly without having to rely on support.
That said, I appreciate the fast response and resolution. I have updated my review from 1 star to 4 stars to reflect the improved experience.

Sales people are disrespectful
One of their neighborhood canvassers would not leave or property even after we pointed out the No Soliciting and No Trespassing signs. Wanted to argue with my husband. Kept calling my husband “bro” and grabbing his privates. Had to call the Sheriff’s office. Not the first time we’ve had these nuisances show up.

Abbiamo un impianto fotovoltaico, costato non poco, con 18 pannelli e batteria da 10 kw, che dalle 10 del mattino alle 17 è bloccato, e non produciamo che 7 o kw al giorno !!! Non è possibile, chiediamo un controllo di un esperto

Mi hanno installato ad aprile 2023 l’inverter con tre batterie di accumulo.. ha funzionato fino a settembre..poi i pannelli non producevano e le batterie non caricavano.. secondo loro tutto normale. Viene assistenza a maggio 2024… fanno qualcosa e danno la colpa al Wi-Fi.. che non fa fare aggiornamenti... mettono extender.. idem pannelli non producono come i miei vicini (stesso tetto).. bollette come prima e pagato 15.000 euro per un impianto che non rende…
marzo 2025, pannelli non caricano nulla(zero) e assistenza trova un connettore sotto i pannelli non attaccato… funziona un giorno..
inverter va in errorE000… assistenza.. riparte…
ora dopo un giorno ho batteria al 68% e prelievo della corrente dalla rete.
Novità di oggi.. devono staccare i verter e mandarlo in assistenza.
E non si sa per quanto . e i danni e il disagio chi li paga? L’elettricista dice che non è colpa sua… sconsiglio completamente non ne posso più..,sentirò un avvocato

We've had an LXP 3-6K for about 4…
We've had an LXP 3-6K for about 4 months. Its mostly been ok, but have had some problems. It decided on its own to put the battery into standby between midnight-5am. The installers were not very interested so I contacted Luxpower direct. They did respond within a few days and remotely resolved it. However I had quite an arrogant email saying it was my own fault for making settings changes and told me to stop playing! The reality is that I looked at various settings to try and resolve the problem after it started. And even then it shouldn't be doing such things. Its firmware AAAB-1D1A. I asked the installers if it should be upgraded, but they were again very unhelpful. More recently I contacted Luxpower to suggest a design improvement to their solutions to add an additional CT clamp to monitor EV charger load to allow the house battery to not discharge into the EV, but all they responded back with is to look at my inverter. That wasn't the point.

Love my lux hybrid 3.6
I have a hybrid 3.6kw inverter. Access remote via the app and have 27kw batteries added with a EV charger. Absolutely love it. Does what it says and responds quickly to change in power solar
Next time or my move would enable my knowledge to use a bigger inverter but not needed

Abbiamo contattato l'assistenza italiana per un problema al modulo WiFi dell'Inverter (prodotto in Cina, dato che, a modulo funzionante, collegandosi in locale, la pagina risulta di default in cinese, con la possibilità di passare all'inglese) a solo un anno dall'installazione. Non ho avuto alcuna risposta via mail, ma solo via telefono. Mi hanno detto però che loro non avrebbero potuto far niente, spetta all'installatore la verifica. Mi hanno detto che mi avrebbero comunque inviato via mail le istruzioni da comunicare, ma la mail non è pervenuta.
Nota sull'applicazione: nonostante abbia abilitato le notifiche sul telefono, l'app non comunica in alcun modo all'utente in caso di malfunzionamento dell'impianto. L'utente se ne accorge solo se, per puro caso, accende l'app per monitorarne attivamente lo stato.
UPDATE: l'azienda, dopo aver letto la recensione, mi ha contattato e siamo attualmente in contatto per risolvere la problematica.

I am extremely disappointed with the…after service
I am extremely disappointed with the customer service provided by this company. Since upgrading my system’s batteries, I have encountered numerous issues. The installer has been unresponsive and unwilling to assist, and despite numerous attempts to reach Lux Technical, they refuse to answer calls or return messages.
It’s incredibly frustrating that no one seems willing to address the ongoing problems I am facing. The system is less than 12 months old, and I expected much better support and resolution. Unfortunately, this lack of service has left me feeling completely neglected as a customer.

After having issues with my solar…
After having issues with my solar system and getting absolutely no where with the installer I contacted lux power Tek, I was mailed by Zak who has been absolutely brilliant he has spent a long time helping with sorting out my issues, brilliant customer service, can't praise him enough. Solar Fast could learn a lot from you.
My Luxpower converter does not meet the spec
Installed late 2022 and constantly monitored, the 2x3.2kWh batteries are probably OK. The real problem is the Luxpower Tek converter. Despite claims about its specification, it frequently takes an age to switch the load from either grid to battery or battery to grid. Despite the spec that claims switching is very rapid, I have measured this and it is frequently up to a minute or more!! This means that you will pull mains power instead of battery power and then export battery power to the grid when you switch off - on most occasions. It has shattered my original calculations about pay-back time making the project financially unworkable. Very disappointing. Customer 'service' best left undescribed :-( [I have retained all communications ..... as of September 2024]

I've been using the Luxpower 7kW…
I've been using the Luxpower 7kW inverter for a few weeks and it seems pretty good. It's affordable, lets you choose your own batteries, and has lots of features for managing your solar energy. Like Octopus energy integration. The downside is it's not a super common brand and might not be ideal for completely off-grid setups. Overall, it's a powerful and budget-friendly and works .

L'assistenza è inesistente
L'assistenza è inesistente. Una segnalazione aperta a dicembre ad oggi non ha avuto ancora risposta nonostante i diversi solleciti, sia telefonici (non rispondono) che via e-mail (ugualmente senza risposta). Per la mia esperienza non consiglierei ad alcuna persona i prodotti e servizi LuxPowertek.

Unreliable and poor aftercare, very slow to respond
I have a lux powertek hybrid inverter installed last year, it has not been without it's issues. This past year we have had several erratic episodes where the inverter seemed to have a mind of it's own. Despite making no changes in settings ourselves, these seemed to change causing the inverter to do things we did not want it to do. At times I spent several hours in the loft resetting the system, reinstalling passwords and resetting the WiFi dongle only to discover eventually that it was as suspected all along, a problem at the manufacturers side with server and software issues. Now all of a sudden my batteries are charging from the grid despite AC charge being disabled in settings. This has only been doing this since the last software update. Previously SOC cut off set at 5%, batteries would only recharge next day if sufficient solar energy, now they are consistently drawing grid power every day to top back up to around 8%. Why has it just started doing this spontaneously?? Nothing has changed in my settings.
I contacted Lux in the UK, along with their UK authorised suppliers Infinity Innovations who repeatedly told me they dont speak to end users/consumers and to direct any concerns through the installers who at times are none the wiser.
These systems are not cheap, and once installed should give peace of mind re their operation, not repeated erratic behaviour causing a great deal of inconvenience for the end user/consumer. After care in the UK sucks and is almost non existent. This needs to change Lux/Infinity Innovations, otherwise people will look at rival manufacturers if they offer a more reliable product with better after sales care.
Addendum: So today 17th December 2024, I finally received a response from Luxpowertek...over a year to respond as my original post was in December 2023. Whilst apologising sincerely, there has been no offer of support directly from Lux, only a suggestion that I email marketing, Will I have to wait another year for you to get back to me? This post speaks volumes about What Lux thinks of it's UK customers. My inverter is still behaving erratically, if this was a car behaving like this I would have handed it back.

The Luxpowertek LXP 3600ACS good, but watch for EMI
The Luxpowertek LXP 3600ACS is good at its job but unfortunately creates such bad EMI (Electromagnetic interference) that the use of the mid ‘20s Tivoli Audio One FM radio is nearly impossible. Neither the installer nor the manufacturer accepts this but the issue has only occurred since installation. It does not affect other makes of FM radio that I own, so if you don’t own a Tivoli Audio Model One you may be ok.

Great Customer Support
I am a person who just wants technology to work. I chose Eco Renewables (review of them also posted today) to install my battery to augment a previously installed solar panel array and Eco used a Luxpowertek inverter with the battery.
I had problems with the inverter communicating with the app on my phone, pretty fundamental to have this working when you want to track and manage solar panel and battery performance.
I can't say enough about the technical support by email I suspect came from China. It was prompt, swift, patient and professional. That you will have technical teething problems is almost a given, good technical support you hope for. I got it with Luxpowertek to my relief, I hope this is useful information for anyone like me who likes technology but relies on good support to maintain it.
As for the kit, very solid performance - no complaints there. And the app is great for tracking and managing solar panel and battery performance.
