First Mg5 service after 1 year
First Mg5 service after 1 year. Dropped car off at Luscombe service centre as arranged at 10:00am. Had a coffee while paperwork was completed, caught a bus opposite the showroom into Leeds. Arrived back at 1:00pm and the service was complete, car had been washed and a video health check of the cars condition sent to my phone. Everything went well, no problems.

Absolutely shocking service from the…
Absolutely shocking service from the start to be honest. 1st we were told our new car would be a few days and then it was a few weeks. Emailed the director and then things were magically sorted out. Not very professional service from Fazz at handover of the car, constantly answering calls and then calling us once we’d taken handover of the car to question us on our old car which should have been addressed previously if there was an issue.
Fast forward three months and we’ve had multiple problems already with our BRAND new car. Screen turning off, electric seats coming on and not being able to turn them off. The car wouldn’t start numerous times. Called MG luscombe for them to advise it would be 20 days before they could look at it. Absolute joke. Then changed their minds on the date and said they “might” be able to sort a car but we wouldn’t know for a few days. Then advised if we took it to another MG it would void the warranty (what a joke!!) This was extremely distressing for me as someone with mental health issues I heavily reply on the car.
Safe to say we have now got rid of the car.
Clearly not very reliable and the staff at the MG luscombe are shocking, I am disgusted at the service we have been given from this garage, I would highly suggest to look else where and definitely not at an MG ZS.

I'm sorry to hear about your poor experience with us. I will try to address your concerns below.
1- The situation with new car deliveries has been major problem this year and all manufacturers are struggling. The situation with your car was that during March, we were dealing with quickly changing information on ETAs, and unfortunately delivery kept slipping back. I was as frustrated as you but managed to request this be prioritised, hence why we managed to bring it forward.
2- I can only apologise regarding the handover. I will try to understand from Fazz as to why this was the case, but I can only apologise.
3- Regarding the issues with the car, these absolutely would have been covered under the warranty - I think having listened back to the conversation, this related to the service plan being specifically with ourselves, not the warranty. The delay in being able to book in was due to the need for a courtesy car which was prolonged booking at that stage. We then went away to propose the use of either mine or one of the sales staff member's cars to get you in quicker, hence not being able to guarantee it immediately until we'd checked they weren't needed for test drives etc.
I do sympathise with your situation and apologise for any distress this may have caused you. I will certainly investigate the professionalism issues you have raised, and hopefully this clears up some confusion around the timelines, both for the delivery and rectification of the issues.

Request for finance fjgures
I submitted an online request for finance figures for a new car. Salesman phoned me to say he wouldn't do it because I would either have to reserve a car or wait until July when there is going to be a price increase. Obviously I couldn't commit to a new car without knowing how much it would cost.
Very strange conversation altogether.

Apologies for any miscommunication here but the explanation is fairly simple. Unfortunately we cannot give finance figures as the cars are currently off sale for new orders with MG. If we quoted you now, those figures wouldnt be honoured when ordering re-opens. We dont know when it will reopen, so we dont know what the price (or finance APR) will be.
The idea behind reserving a car is simply to get up the queue when it does become available, but due to the current situation with new car ordering, we simply cannot tell you what you'll be paying for the car. Sounds nuts, I accept, but thats the market we're in i'm afriad.
Apologies if this wasnt made explicitly clear on the phone.

Due to their foresight Luscombe were able to supply car just when I wanted and at the pre increase price.! As I live in Scotland we conducted business over phone and email which is not best way to experience Luscombes personal business.However I was made welcome when I visited to collect car with decent coffee to boot.Needless to say car was well prepared.

I bought my first new car from Luscombes and almost a year later I'm absolutely loving the car.

Absolutely faultless remote vehicle purchase
Was looking for a new car for the business and came across Luscombe MG Leeds.
Absolutely brilliant from start to finish with Sam and Anthony. The full purchase was carried out remotely and they didn't have one single issue. Every question I had was answered quickly and communication was second to none, just how it should be.
They even went above and beyond to work with my transporter to pick my new vehicle up.
I will definitely be back for further vehicles in the future.
I highly recommend them to everyone. You won't be disappointed :)

First electric car, a brilliant purchase from a brilliant dealer!
We have just purchased our first electric car. After much research we settled for the best offer we could find, and that was from Luscombe MG in Leeds. Despite being 200 miles away from our home the whole process was without stress or anxiety. Communication was excellent, with regular personal videos and continual email and phone contact. Our car was safely delivered to us within 2 weeks from our initial enquiry, and our previous car taken to them the same way. We also enjoyed the best part exchange offer obtained from a number of dealers. We thoroughly recommend Luscombes for your next motor purchase!
