We managed to lock ourselves out of the house — a house with a composite door, so we expected a long wait and a big bill. Instead, after calling LockFit, the locksmith arrived within three minutes of calling.

He sorted the issue incredibly quickly and efficiently, and the price was genuinely fair and reasonable. He even refused to accept a tip, which tells you everything about the level of professionalism and integrity this company has.

Had Ivan from this company to break in to my rear door as it had jammed shut, he was so polite and very courteous removing his shoes even though told not to worry. Very professional and the job could not be completed same day so he provided safe secure door until he could order part and return next day to sort the issue. I had him change front door lock at the same time. could not recommend enough, thanks Ivan.

Michael from LockFit in Bracknell saved my life today! In -3 freezing weather I got locked out of my house with kids after breaking a key in a lock that just blocked and wouldn’t turn. Michael answered the phone immediately, and turned up outside my address in 15 min. It took some skill to
Open the lock but Michael took great care not to damage it. after successfully unlocking, he assessed the mechanism
and advised it just needed clearing with special spray, which he did - it made such a difference to the whole mechanism! It works perfect. Couldn’t recommend him enough!

Rang lockfit in burton and hans came round immediately to fix my door. Absolutely brilliant. 5 stars. Highly recommend if having door problems.

Alan Perrins arrived within a few minutes of my call, and sorted out my front door lock in only a few more minutes! He's a wizard. Thank you very much, Alan.

Cameron came out to inspect our 10-year-old drafty UPVC double glazing windows. He quickly identified the issue, fitted new hinges, and re-hung the windows with great care.

The difference was immediate — no more draughts and the windows now close perfectly.

One window needed a small tweak afterwards, and Cameron returned promptly to sort it out.

He was professional, efficient, and friendly throughout. A great example of customer service done right. Highly recommended!

Lock fit "absolutely terrible company" rang Wednesday 1/10 /25 phoned spoke to a gentleman called Mark who said he was lock smith so employed him to repair my lock as on closer inspection while open wouldn't lock even when open.
We are talking a so called professional lock smith.i sent pictures of the the door gearbox and locks. Mark tured up around an hour later I thought that was good timing.
But as I watched I found him to be struggling so offered to help as Im mechanically minded "any way roll on three hours later fitted lock gearbox and stripping on inside of the door. Screwed it all together fitted tried to close the door and use the locking mechanism but still wouldn't lock. Now the door was off a little but Mark reassured me that we will fix this and we fiddled but eventually after an hour or so he said he needed to be at another job in Manchester mark reassuring me he'd be back on the Monday this was Wednesday so my door would not lock so I ordered a special tool. Mark reassured me he'd be back on Monday the 6/10/25 so as it stood he took payment of £135.00 and left me with no lockable front door. So at this point I said you are coming back he replied yes no worries ill keep in contact with you as the weekend was upon us I had promise to contact me. But all I got was a few texts and excuses. So I rang his boss at Manchester lock fit Kevin "he stipulated send me pictures so he could refur to Mark's pictures but Mark hadn't even taken any pictures.
I was being fobbed off they had my money and were making lots of excuses in the end I asked for a full refund Kevin said he'd look into the issue but never came back to me all I was told I'll get a partial refund of £65.00 only and if I was not happy seek legal advise I found Kevin and Mark absolutely unprofessional and like riped me off.
My messages have gone unanswered and as this shambles of a company fobbed me off no apology 6 days that I couldn't leave my house and had to get another locksmith with in 30 minutes had it sorted do not use this company lock fit. They are very unprofessional and don't have a clue of what they are DOING.STAY CLEAR"as you to could end up with no security for a week.
This is how this company responds with nothing asks me for phone number and information.
Then all goes quickly quiet.
Once again don't use this company. Lock fit is a shambles of a company.
Use any other company just not these.
Still no response from this cowboy outfit" my advise stay clear of this company nice words and promises nothing more than that.left me with no locking front door for almost a week STAY CLEAR OF LOCK FIT

My husband phoned up on Saturday 11th October, 2025 as we could not open our front door
Krasimir came out the same morning
He was professional, polite and friendly
He soon fixed the front door. He cleaned up after him and left the area clean and tidy
We were so pleased we could use the front door and lock and unlock it again
