I bought a Lexus from Listers Cribbs…
I bought a Lexus from Listers Cribbs Bristol. Christian who sold the car to me was simply the best there is. He is not only knowledgeable he is professional, patient and very kind gentleman. It was a privilege doing business with him. He is an asset to your company and I look forward to dealing with him in the future. Nothing is too much trouble for him please do pass on my comments to him.
I contacted Lexus UK after experiencing…
I contacted Lexus UK after experiencing issues relating to the sale of an Approved Used Lexus vehicle purchased from a franchised dealer.
To be fair, Lexus UK did respond promptly and escalated the matter to dealership management. However, despite the dealership later acknowledging shortcomings in the information initially provided during the sales process, I was disappointed that Lexus UK ultimately declined any further involvement on the basis that the supplying dealer operates as an independent franchise.
As a customer purchasing what was presented as a premium Lexus Approved Used vehicle, I had hoped for stronger support from the manufacturer when concerns were raised regarding the ownership and service history information provided at the point of sale.
The matter has now been referred to the Motor Ombudsman for independent review.
Very impressed.
Customer service at Newcastle Lexus. especially from Adam Czerwinski.
I purchased a second hand UX250H from these in March. On arrival we were greeted by Adam who proceeded to show myself and my wife their current stock. He left us alone to look at them then asked if we had any questions to which he answered single one. We discussed trim levels ect and settled on the one we have now. We left after paying a deposit and also the remainder a day or so later then arranged to pick up car the following week. On arrival the car was in a display area all lit up and had been polished within an inch of its life, (nice touch). Adam helped me complete all the paperwork and I was even thanked by the manager for my business and Informed to call if I had any issues.
I honestly have never been treat so well when buying any car in the past, I was not spending a fortune on a brand new car but I felt they were genuinely happy with my custom, not what I had spent. On returning home I had noticed a problem with the centre rest mechanism and contacted Adam. Again he was very pro-active and they ordered a replacement immediately and was fitted in April when part was received. I was even offered a car to use while it was replaced. I would have no hesitation in buying from Lexus Newcastle again and recommend Adam as contact as he is a credit to them, well done all.
Now the bad bit, this does not concern Lexus Newcastle but Stoneacre themselves. I had already discussed any add on I had wanted or not but was bombarded with emails from Stoneacre trying to upsell all sorts, this is totally not necessary and dulls the overall experience in my opinion, trust your teams in the dealers as they know what they are doing.
Also you require instant review of the service via link you send, given I had a minor problem with my centre rest I wanted to wait until sorted so I could give a full and honest review. When completed I find your link had expired so I emailed Stoneacre and asked them to send me a new link to which I am still waiting, hence this review.
So, LEXUS NEWCASTLE 10/10
STONEACRE 5/10

Not the quality or service experience we expect
2023 UX 250h
Two sets of complete rear light clusters, one drivers door seal and now the rear door piano black trim coming away and the drivers door chrome trim/ seal is bending up at both ends.
The car is very well looked after, serviced by Lexus dealer every year and on time. Only 27500 miles.
I noted the most recent issues and had called in the Bolton dealership to collect a touch up pen. I asked then to have a look at the trims and they confirmed that they were not meant to be that way. I was then told that the car was out of warranty and this would not be covered. Shocked to say the least as we are talking about two weeks or 7 working days as they like to say.
I called Lexus UK and they looked into this for me. I did not hear back from them on the day I was told I would so call into the dealership and was informed that Lexus stand by the decision that the trim was out of warranty and that the best they could do is offer the parts at cost.
Bolton would fit them at no charge.
As both parts were not broken or damaged by me and that the issue was poor quality or manufacturing I believe this should have been covered as the issue was slowly developing during the warranty period and we were only talking two weeks max over the warranty period.
I have to say both my wife and I are very disappointed with Lexus and with our contract ending in the new year we shall just put this down to experience and look at another manufacturer, Mazda, Kia or even Chinese.
I feel we went the extra mile and paid the extra money yet Lexus did not.
Shame, we had so much more in the way of expectations.
I purchased Minor damage insurance for…
I purchased Minor damage insurance for my new car and Tyre and Alloy wheel damage insurance through Lexus. ‘Insurethat’ is the company they use. I paid £539 for 48 month insurance with a 4 claim maximum for the Minor damage insurance. I also paid £499 for the Tyre and Alloy wheel damage. I made a claim on the minor damage policy and was told they would only pay £250 towards any repair cost. I went on the Trust Pilot site and couldn’t believe all the negative feedback on there. Lexus need to drop them, unless their financial handshake is too lucrative to do that?
Best customer service ever
I recently bought a Lexus NX300h from Lexus Edinburgh and had an exceptional experience from start to finish.
Iain Watson was fantastic — professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. The personalised video he sent of the car beforehand was a brilliant touch, and the fact he even waited for us at the airport really shows the level of service.
The handover was smooth, unhurried, and very well explained, and the thoughtful gift at the end made it even more special.
Truly first-class service — highly recommended, especially if you deal with Iain.
Thank you lexus Edinburgh
Used car buying experience
Bought a used 22 plate Hyundai from Lexus Wolverhampton in late November 2025 by the first week of December I had a serious issue.
After changing gear the engine would lose power, I would be pressing on the accelerator and nothing would happen.
The power would only return after changing gear again. Took the car back to Lexus, they inspected it and said the battery was low.
Left the car with them and they charged it
Overnight, took it for a quick test drive next morning, no issues so I picked it up later the same morning.
On Friday 5th December it lost power 3 times in 2 hours after changing from 1st to 2nd gear
and once again on Monday 8th December after changing from 2nd to 3rd gear.
Lexus suggested I return the car to the main dealer so they could run a diagnostic check.
They had the car from Wednesday afternoon on the 10th of Dec until Friday midday on the 12th of Dec.
They carried out a diagnostic test and took the car on a 12 mile road test but couldn't get the problem to replicate.
So I collected the car on Friday afternoon and the problem didn't occur again until Saturday
27th Dec, lost power after changing from 1st to 2nd gear.
Obviously an intermittent problem which could lead to dangerous situations. I made it clear I wasn't happy and arranged a meeting on Monday 15th January 2026 with the Centre Principal and the sales controller.
This was the time I asked for a full refund or a swap. Handshakes were exchanged and they each gave me a business card with their email details.
I sent email's with a list of cars I would consider swapping for.
There was no response or contact from the 15th to the 29th of January so I phoned on the 29th, unavailable at the moment but I will get a call back, no call.
Same thing on Tuesday 30th, no call. Called again on Wednesday and finally had a conversation. The reason they hadn't been in contact was because they hadn't found a suitable replacement yet. Unbelievable.
So then there was a period from the 27th Dec all the way through to Saturday 4th April when there were no issues but then it happened again, 3 times in 8 minutes. All after changing down from 3rd to 2nd gear.
During this time I have asked for a full refund in person, over the phone and by email as is my right under the Consumer rights Act many times.
On April 14th I contacted Citizens Advice and they ran through what I needed to do.
It's been 5 months since I bought the car and over 140 days since Lexus Wolverhampton found out about the serious issue with the intermittent power problems.
5 months and still no closer to a resolution.
This has been my experience in dealing with a faulty used car from Lexus Wolverhampton and it's still ongoing.
So frustrating and annoying, very disappointed.
Lexus, you need to get your act together quick if you want to keep my custom
In my view, Lexus appears to be in decline and should take note of the rapid progress being made by Chinese automotive manufacturers.
I have found both Lexus dealers and Customer Services to be slow in their responses, often requiring repeated follow-ups on my part. This has been disappointing, particularly given the premium experience typically associated with the Lexus brand, and it falls short of my expectations.
While I am very pleased with my 2023 RX450h+ Takumi, the level of support surrounding the ownership experience has been somewhat lacking and, in my view, inefficient. This is my second brand-new Lexus, which makes the situation all the more concerning.
As a result, I feel increasingly disillusioned with Lexus and now have serious reservations about choosing the brand for my next vehicle purchase.
Do Not Buy any RX- models HOT cars …
Do Not Buy any RX- models HOT cars stolen.
On 16th August i bought Lexus RX500 2024 with only 3000mls most expensive car i aver bought in my 45years but this RX500h would had been my 7th Lexus in my life. I always had pretty cars and love Lexus and there are trouble free.
On 16th Sept at 4.30am in the morning thief taken my RX500h from my drive way within 15mints they drive the car out.
I must say i had a bit difficult to insure the car after speaking 7 insurance company's one can insure me but big premium i have to pay this with inc Extra immobiliser & tracker which i agreed to have it done.
I have spoken to immobiliser company there confirm that this year Lexus in 2nd on the list getting stolen after Rang Rover are number one.
I reported to insurance company for the claim but it's going through it may take bit of time & police was involved. Police found the car but it was big mass & damaged inside.
Police recovered the car in there own compound.
Main point of this review is i dont think I be buying anymore Lexus in near future or any my family members, we owned over 8 Lexus in the family.
During buying Lexus I have asked the main dealer if you know if these vehicle none for nicking his answer was not heard of.
Lexus should look into this issue otherwise no one will buy this brand or consumer should do there home work first before buying, In my opinion dont buy it, my 8 members will not be buying these cars anymore.
Otherwise best of luck in the future if you buying.
Lexus Stoneacre Teeside

Lexus Milton Keynes
We purchased a used Lexus UX from the Lexus Milton Keynes dealership. During the test drive, we noticed cupping on the outer edges of the front tyres. Upon checking the MOT history, three advisories were recorded relating to the Bridgestone tyres fitted to the vehicle.
Before proceeding with the purchase, we discussed these advisories with the Sales Manager on the Monday and were explicitly assured that the issues would be resolved prior to vehicle handover.
On the Tuesday, we contacted the dealership and were informed that the tyres would be replaced with Westlake tyres. After researching these tyres, we discovered that they are the cheapest option available in the required size. As this was unacceptable to us—particularly given Lexus’ brand positioning and safety expectations—we immediately contacted the dealership and requested to speak with the Sales Manager, Duncan.
We made five calls on Tuesday and left two messages expressing our concerns about fitting budget tyres. During these calls, it was clearly stated that it was essential that budget tyres were NOT fitted to the vehicle.
Additionally, we left two further messages with separate sales advisers on the same day, confirming that we were more than willing to pay the price difference to have Bridgestone tyres fitted instead.
The Sales Manager eventually returned our call on Thursday and advised that the Westlake tyres had already been fitted. Despite our prior communications and offers to pay the difference, we were informed that they would not remove the Westlake tyres and that no alternative solution would be offered.
We reiterated our concerns and again offered an additional £200 to cover the cost of fitting Bridgestone tyres. This request was refused, and no attempt was made to discuss potential resolutions. We were effectively placed in a “take it or leave it” position, despite having taken all reasonable steps to communicate our expectations in advance.
This experience has been extremely disappointing and represents the worst customer service we have encountered at a Lexus dealership. The Lexus slogan “Experience Amazing” was not reflected in our treatment. Instead, it appeared that cost-saving took priority over customer satisfaction, safety considerations, and brand standards.
Lexus Hedge End . Quick resonse
Lexus Hedge End. Heads up for Charlie. Called in on the off chance regarding one of my tyres(frequently going down). No sign of any puncture. Valve?. He returned, advising that it was the valve.
Fixed and on the road safely. He was polite, and he was a lovely young man to deal with. Thanks Charlie.

Appalling Customer service if you…
Appalling Customer service if you contacted them three consecutive times enquiring about repairs, services with Not even an acknowledgement from anyone after leaving multiple contact options I believe they're only interested in new sales.
Even if houghi drive a Lexus I cannot, will never recommend this brand to anyone as I believe this is completely against the high standard from Japan and the Japanese ethos entirely.
I will make enquiries to make this known to relevant International Japanese customer care department.
Lexus IS350 (JDM…
I recently took my Lexus IS350 (JDM import) to Lexus Glasgow for its MOT, and I have to say the experience was outstanding from start to finish.
On arrival, I was warmly welcomed by the staff and offered a seat while I waited. I was also offered coffee and a breakfast bar, which was a very nice touch and made me feel valued as a customer.
Gary Skea looked after me during my visit. He was extremely pleasant, cheerful, and professional throughout. He took all my details, explained the process clearly, and kept me informed. I had requested a courtesy car in advance, which was arranged without any issues.
Once the MOT was completed, Gary contacted me as promised. On collection, I was again welcomed, offered refreshments, and everything was handled smoothly and efficiently. The whole process was stress-free and very well organised.
I have previously visited other dealerships such as BMW and Volkswagen, but I can honestly say the level of customer service at Lexus Glasgow is on another level. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality really stood out.
A big thank you to Gary and the team — I truly appreciate the excellent service and will definitely be returning.

Good Driving Experience, but Serious Security Concerns
I purchased a Lexus NX 350h in 2023 after having a very positive experience driving my cousin’s 2015 Lexus for a year. Based on that, I ordered the new model in 2022 and, due to COVID delays, waited nearly a year to receive it.
Unfortunately, in March this year, my car was stolen right outside my home. A friend of mine had also had his Lexus stolen previously, but since he lived about 20 minutes away, I assumed it was a local issue. Six months later, the same thing happened to me.
In terms of driving experience, the Lexus 350h is excellent. The interior is comfortable, the technology is well designed, and overall the car feels refined. Lexus customer service is also responsive and helpful when contacted.
However, I cannot recommend buying a Lexus unless security issues are properly addressed. Based on my experience:
1. My car was most likely stolen using a headlight hacking method, which was captured on my home camera. This is a known vulnerability, yet Lexus has not resolved it. Despite regular servicing, I was never informed about this risk.
2. The Lexus app gives the impression that it can track your vehicle location. After the theft, I contacted Lexus and was told it is not a true tracking system. This was never clearly explained beforehand, and the app interface is misleading.
3. After gaining access, the thief activated privacy mode in the car. This disabled location tracking in the app. However, I could still remotely control other features such as locking doors, opening windows, checking mileage, and even starting the air conditioning. The fact that I could not override privacy mode to recover the vehicle is a major limitation. Lexus explained this is due to GDPR, but from a product perspective, this functionality should be reconsidered.
4. At no point during purchase or servicing was I advised to install an additional tracker. Only after the theft did I learn that installing a Thatcham-approved tracker would allow proper tracking and even reduce insurance costs.
5. On a positive note, Lexus support responded quickly after the theft and helped provide the necessary finance documents without delay.
Overall, while the car itself is excellent to drive, the lack of effective anti-theft measures and unclear communication about security risks are serious concerns. I would not recommend purchasing a Lexus unless you take additional security precautions, such as installing a Thatcham tracker and ensuring your vehicle is well protected.
Thanks to all the staff of Lexus…
Thanks to all the staff of Lexus Cardiff by providing us with great service and dealership. Enquiries dealt in a friendly and professional manner with dignity and respect.
Lexus Letdowns
I have a 2022 RX450h Sport Takumi. On the up side it drives very nicely with the 3,5 litre V6. However I have never really taken to the car due to various irritations.
The infotainment system is poor in my opinion. I have learned to live with its quirks by not using it much. I found that when taking a phone call, if I put the car in reverse the call dropped as the screen changed to show the rear camera. The music system doesn’t mute as the sat nav makes an announcement. When playing music and selecting an album with various artists then picking the song to play on the album, it plays the song then goes off to find the same artist on other albums.
The car phone display would not identify incoming callers until I changed the format of all the numbers in my phone to the international format (+44 for the UK) Then it worked however it seems that the phone carrier must have reverted to the leading zero format because now callers are unknown again.
The cruise control is an irritation. After actively slowing me down to the set speed, the car is allowed to run away downhill so I have to brake knocking off cruise control. If it can slow you down why doesn’t it maintain the set speed?
The sport seats I have never found comfortable. I am 13 1/2 stone (190 pounds) so not that big. I find the seat side bolsters squeeze my backside making the seat uncomfortable.
Everything is expensive. Insurance is expensive and some insurers will not touch the car. Servicing is ridiculous. I was going to have a "while I wait" service and was told it would be two hours. I was told the price would be £760. When I queried the price I was told part of the price was for the air filter and pollen filter which together amounted to about £200!! Upon checking I found I could buy them for around £50 and they can be fitted in about 10 minutes. They chased me to book the car in and told me the price was now £820!!
As long as you have Lexus services the warranty is continued for up to 10 years but it seems to me that you are actually buying an extended warranty in the price of the service.
I always see great reviews for this car and i am a bit amazed that the reviewers dont see these things.
Soft wear not user friendly+ distance travel
Soft wear not user friendly. But the 2 * is fully charged distance. I went to Sheffield from greater Manchester area fully charged distance is around 60 miles one way when I reached my destination in Sheffield battery was 46% . I had to recharge it and I was in a rush went to nearest one unexpected was a slow charger I waited 30 minutes it charged it to 55% and I left.car is extremely comfortable to drive but ok for driving locally but even medium distance it is not worth it. Regret buying it
