Briquettes in each pack were just dust
Briquettes in each pack were just dust, completely crushed, making them quite expensive per briquette. Also you need at least 3 to give off any adequate heat making coal the much better option financially
Just because the outer box was ok, doesn’t mean they haven’t been dropped/smashed! Perhaps you are putting too many in the boxes causing the bottom layer to crumble! As I said, the dusty smashed ones have OBVIOUSLY been thrown out, I will send pics of the other boxes when they’re opened but I have now been using much more cost effective coal.
You can probably see for yourself, reopen a pack after it’s been stored under the weight of several other boxes…..logical that they’re going to smash surely?

The Night Briquettes have recently been re-packaged with tighter wrapping, so we are unsure why they are crumbling.
Upon checking the tracking information and photo proof of delivery, we can see that the items were delivered in good condition.
In cases like this, please send us some photos of the crushed briquettes you received so we can investigate this further for you.

Eco friendly, economical products. The main reason I chose Letko was…
The main reason I chose Letko was originally for the eco friendly fire lighters, being available in large quantities and made of natural materials without chemicals. We also use the night briquettes which are great to keep the log burner going during the day or night without having to use up lots of logs. I’m looking forward to trying the other products when the weather turns colder. As well as being eco friendly, which is very important to me, the products are good value for money with a very quick delivery. I highly recommend Letko. Thank you.

Another social media driven gimmick.
Yeah. I bought 2 boxes. And they do (if you choke right down) last all night (just) but the amount of ash is in itself choking. And because you have to choke down this blackens the inside of your log burner glass. They stain your hands when you handle them and the boxes have a lot of brown dust that stains your rugs at the first opportunity. I will not be buying again.

Performance can vary depending on the stove, airflow, and how well the appliance is preheated. The briquettes usually burn with flames for the first few hours and then glow, releasing steady heat.
Please note that we do not recommend closing the airflow completely; only reduce it slightly.
We’re really sorry they stain your hands 😔. Since these are natural, uncoated briquettes made from softwood bark, the bark can sometimes stain your hands when handling them. We avoid using synthetic coatings because we want to keep them natural and safe.
