Customer service is non-existent - I asked 4 times if the goods they ship are insured for loss since a buyer mentioned that a Lalamove driver went MIA after receiving the goods and I did not get any response. All 4 just disconnected from the chat. Safe to say that I'm not using them from now on.
A very unethical company to deal with
A very unethical company to deal with. The drivers can charge whatever they like and the one is more expensive than the other. Lalamove doesn't care what the driver charge. If you don't agree, you simply don't get your goods collected / delivered. Clients are basically bullied into agreeing an exorbitant price. The driver cancelled an hour after he was meant to provide the service as confirmed. The other driver on the same day because of a family emergency. The cancellations costed us HKD$1500 more and Lalamove couldn't care less. There are a lot cheaper ways to frustrate and aggravate yourself!! Don't use Lalamove.

Love using them. All deliveries have been without problems.
Lalamove experience
The delivery was smooth and fast. I had to wait approx 10mins before my order was accepted on the platform. Once my order was accepted, the driver called me and confirmed on the location, time and item he had to collect. I find it quite professional.
I also contacted the customer service via live chat function they have on the app since I was confused by the surcharges. The agent explained me well and I was happy to know that most of the charges go to the drivers.
All in all, it was a pleasant experience with Lalamove and I will definitely book them again.
Terrible service
The driver didn’t show up or respond calls or messages for 2 hours. When he finally did, he said he’d be there in 15 minutes, and an hour later still wasn’t there. Worst ever service.
App and operations suck
The drivers are great, but the app and operations sucks. They have a pre-book option that books drivers from FAR AWAY right away, which doesnt make sense. This resulted in one of the orders to be picked up 40 minutes late. Doesnt make sense to have this option in the app if it's this useless. When I sent them a message in live chat, the person was like "well you should've messaged us right away". What??? Then what's the point of having a pre book option if I have to keep monitoring it?? Grab is so much more intuitive and Im probably sticking with that in the future.
Unprofessional and dishonest, don't use Lalamove
I paid for a helper, and the helper didn't show up at my place. I contacted customer service and they refuse to refund the extra $30 for the helper. The driver says the helper was at the toilet when he arrived at my place. I live in a 100% residential area with no public toilet or shop at a walking distance so I'd be very curious to know where he went. Regardless, I paid for a service I didn't get and you refuse to take responsibility: this is unprofessional and dishonest.

hice pedido con un dia de anticipacion, lo programe, el primer conductor me acepto el pedido y luego lo cancelo, luego otro conductor tomo el pedido me hablo para confirmarlo y nunca llego por el pedido, cancelo despues de un rato, afectaron mis entregas el chat de sevicio a cliente es muy malo, no te apoyan solo te dicen te repito debes gnerar otro pedido son las 10 am ahorita mis horarios de entrega y demas ya se jodieron! muy mal jamas lo usaria te van a ahcer quedar mal MAL MUY MAL CON TUS CLIENTES

We require on average 20-30 deliveries p/week. The drivers and their service is Fantastic. Always nice, polite, punctual and obliging.
The Customer Service is another thing altogether! I am so tired of waiting for someone to call me back to discuss our account and have just one minor detail changed. Its now been 2 months and approx 6 attempts at getting someone to return a call, it is now beyond a joke! I have asked for a supervisor, Ive ranted about how frustrating it is get some service and I get 'yes yes completely understand Ill call you back today' ... but Nothing !! Now however, after some recent pricing changes I am questioning public holiday charges on a normal Friday, CBD surcharges when deliveries are nowhere near the CBD, and fuel surcharges. Im onto my 3rd call to get a response from a Customer service person, that was to be 3pm.. Its now 6pm. I started this particular journey 4 days ago... and Nothing !! I cant stand LaLa Move customerservice. Use another company if you dont want to be totally frustrated.
update .. another 24 hours and Still NO call back ! Nothing from lala customer ‘No-service’ department !!
Disappoinment all around
On my first delivery, the driver was about 30 minutes late. My second delivery, the driver called and asked me when is the pick up time after I had placed the order. I checked the app at pick up time so see where the driver is and he's 38 minutes away from pick up location. I cancelled that driver and no one else picked up my order. The app suggested that I should add tips to encourage drivers to pick up my delivery. I ended up having to go and pick up the food myself. If I had known, I would have not even bother. I don't think I would feel comfortable recommending lalamove to anyone I know.
