We had engaged Lalamove to have our…

We had engaged Lalamove to have our furniture moved utilizing the big trucks; however, the trucks were not kept clean and we ended up with a bed bug infestation after we moved our furniture to our new place! We appealed to Lalamove for compensation but was rebuked and rejected stating that there was no evidence the bed bug infestation originated from their trucks. We had to fumigate our new home and suffered from serious bed bug bites that antihistamine shots were needed, which included emergency visits to the doctor as we suffered adverse reactions to the bites.

Prior to the move, both places had none of these infestations and our furniture were clear of it. Lalamove claims their trucks were cleaned, but if so, why would cases like this exist??

Please do not trust Lalamove for furniture moving if you do not want to risk having bed bug infestations.

Foul experience

Foul experience

From Singapore. My first time using Lalamove. Didn't have cash on hand so decided to top up my wallet when it came to payment. I was initially quoted $41. After I topped up my wallet and the monies have been deducted, the price jumped by 50% to $60.80. This was $15 more than its competitor. Terrible experience because the money has been transferred and I had to spend time calling in and paying "administrative charges" for a refund. I think the cost of the assignment should be locked in once the customer is in the process of making payment. Customer service "apologised" but kept trying to shift the blame on me by justifying the price increase as stated on the website. The issue is the price had increased even as the customer is making payment by transferring money into lalamove wallet! I should be informed about the increase BEFORE the payment so that the I can make a decision whether to proceed given the increase or look for another alternative. However, the price increase was timed AFTER the monies have been transferred and the latter now held in ransom. I had two choices. Either to go ahead with the 50% increase in pricing or get a refund on the transferred monies sans administrative penalty. But why should I pay for the penalty when it is the company's DISHONEST practice? (Btw, deduction is immediate, but a refund takes up to 14 working days!) If you go for lalamove, and you don't want to be taken advantage of, pay cash. Pricing can unilaterally increase after the monies are transferred! Terrible first experience! I should have checked the rating on trust pilot before making arrangements.

Driver who had no respect for woman.

Experienced a very rude male driver who takes my photo without my consent and continue to take even when I say no! He even shouted insulting words about my body. This is invading privacy of your customers, pls train the driver to be polite and just take a parcel photo and not the customer face!

Bad Experience

Hello Lalamove, may concern lang ako sa mga riders niyo ngayon..lagi nila sinasabi matagal na sila nasa pick up location tapos tumatawag daw tapos hindi daw macontact, ang tagal na daw nila naghihintay..eh available naman ung line ko..tapos wala naman narereceive na calls galing sa knila... 3x na ako nakaencounter ng mga ganyan riders..ano un style para magpaadd ng bayad? Ang susungit pa ng ibang riders niyo.

Lalamove Singapore treats the drivers…

Lalamove Singapore treats the drivers equally bad. Driver not able to cash out earnings. Contacted their live agents and they just say wait for the relevant team to get back. Waited for so long no call back. Post on their facebook page and delete my post. Just want to earn from clients and drivers. I took screenshots of all conversations with the live agents. Just waiting to share if they really do not give me back my earnings.

Rider asking for more than what I should pay for

So this is the diskarte of a rider. They will call the party where the goods will be delivered to. Kala mo salesperson nang-uuto. Sasabihin sa yo cancel ko po to maam para may kasabay na booking papunta sa inyo. Ang malala, they will ask you to pay for the parking fee on top of the amount that's on the app. May ganyang mga Lalamove drivers. Ang gugulang.

Weird and horrible customer service.

1. wrote a question for their live chat, regarding insurance if the driver breaks my furnitures.
2. wait for 3-5 minutes for a connection, then asked again what I need, which I already wrote before starting the chat (weird scam-like name, by the way: Marvin Jude Don)
3. while rewriting the question, like below 1 minute, he disconnected because i'm "idling"
4. retry the chat. Another p*rnstar name: Ralf Dario, but want me to call him John. wth.
5. spam sentence by sentence to avoid me being "idle"
6. his answer is like trying to avoid it in the first place. never give a clear answer. Like a scam agent trying to bullsh*t into me hearing what I want to hear but not really.
7. when asked for clarity, keep trying to dodge, 2-3 minutes per excuse, and in the end he just goes quiet.

Lorry driver made a deep long scratch…

Lorry driver made a deep long scratch on my parquet wooden floor. Called lalamove CS, told me it's in their policy not their responsibility to cover damages or compensate. Told them to show me where is this policy because it's not shown upfront. Just repeat back the same line and completely refused to compensate. Don't use lalamove, irresponsible company. No action towards the driver as well.

Worst moving company ever. AVOID!

Avoid this company like the plague. We tried using them for the first time here in Thailand and it was the worst experience I have ever had in Thailand and I have had quite a few bad experiences. This was by far the worst anywhere I lived.

We scheduled a moving truck a week ago and they confirmed a slot at 9 am on Saturday, which is today. My wife called the mover in the morning of Saturday and the driver said he was in a meeting and couldn't make it and that he would be here at 6pm the same day. My wife called around 4:30 and 5pm and they kept hanging up on her and now will not answer. So here we are after 6pm and they refuse to pick up and they are not here to fulfill the contract.

If this is how Lalamove does business, then I want nothing to do with them at all. I am furious. We have everything packed up and we took a lot of the small things to the new place but now we cannot take our fridge, TV, couch, washing machine, piano, several other smaller things.

So, in closing, do NOT use Lalamove if you truly want a company who makes good on their promises. I will be telling everyone about Lalamove and making sure they never receive any business from anyone close to me and have them spread the word.

A terrible experience with lalamove

A terrible experience with lalamove. Had to give a star to make a comment otherwise there wouldn’t be any.

So, I’m a small company who used to use lalamove for deliveries. Basically built a table for a client had lalamove to deliver it and they managed to scratch all down one side.

So, I contacted lalamove about the negligence of their drivers and wanted compensation for having to take the expensive hand made table back to fix and then send back to my client. Needless to say, lalamove will not compensate any of this cost. Surprise surprise.

They are cheap, but only in the short run. Don’t do what I did, I have learned from my mistake. Use a proper, trust worthy company to deliver your goods.

Inexperienced & Unprofessionalism

Organ instrument was intact before movement by lalamove. Apparently, it fell to the ground on the van when moving to the destination. Outcomes: Multiple cracks (back,cover etc) and one of its legs chipped off. Very disappointment and blamed myself for trusting on their professionalism. No appology from the person at all! Will not recommend or use lalamove from now on.

FYI. This Organ has sentimental value as my late dad looks after it for me very well. It costs $8K back then.

Rude and ghosted customer services …

Their customer service is useful only if you (driver) are at fault for collection and delivery they will call on you and that happened for me from west to east the highway was so congested i was late for 15mins of the 30mins period time given they call me and give lectures and giving threat totally gangster. And another time was restaurant prepare the food late for 20mins i try to call their CS but no one answer and also tried on their live chat also no reply, and of cause i was late too due to this. The CS called me after i delivered and ask what time i arrived at that restaurant i told her was there 10mins earlier to my collection time and restaurant was late then the CS was like oh ok ok. Funny thing is they have this waiting time commission but i hadn’t received any $hit cents from it. After from these incidents i gave my hands off from LALA Move.

One star is even to much

One star is even to much. I signed up as a driver with own van. There are hidden payment terms which are not shown during the course. They are redacting additional 5% from all your income if you wanna cash out your wallet. Nowhere was this mention during the course .Live chat does not work. It is just computer program. Phone nobody answer. Customer complaining the same issues to me . Even the SGD 50.00 for a sticker a month you have to fight All the people who signed up as partners gave up not even collecting the sgd 75.00 refund. I guess that is the whole idea . HANDS OFF from this company.

Totally terrible customer service

Totally terrible customer service. Last time I use this service. I’ll make sure I’ll warn everyone I meet. Customer service was rude, not helpful, and charges keep getting higher and penalty fees are charged with no scale and randomly. Horrible experience. If you want your package safe and don’t want to get fleeced, DO NOT USE LALA MOVE .
