Tom Wilson was one of 3 agents that visited my Late Father’s home to give a market appraisal. We invited Tom as he had recently sold a similar property in a neighbouring village and had good coverage of the area that was served by the Market Harborough and Stamford offices. Tom was extremely knowledgeable of the area and the market and stood out from the other estate agents by his honest and realistic approach to the value, whilst sitting between the other two valuations. He demonstrated empathy to our situation whilst being excited by marketing the home. We decided to go down the route of a pre-marketing launch to gauge the interest before fully marketing. The marketing material was of a particularly high standard with a professional brochure that included overhead photos. This led to a number of viewings within days of pre-market launch and a second viewing from the first person to see the property. This resulted in an agreed sale in excess of the guide price, an excellent result and beyond our expectations. Tom’s negotiating skills were second to none and after the sale had been agreed, Tom kept us abreast of events on a regular basis and monitored the sale closely to make sure that solicitors were responding and that the survey was carried out in a timely manner. During Tom’s brief absence whilst on holiday, the sale was looked after by his colleagues, Lois and Jess who were equally as communicative and professional and could not do enough to help. The house completed in a little over 4 months from the viewing taking place to handing over the keys. This was, in a large part, due to Tom and his team and I would strongly recommend King West Estate Agents. They are a professional outfit that go the “extra mile” for their clients and set the bar high for other estate agents to follow. I would look no further if you are thinking of selling and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our sale took longer than we had all anticipated - but that was due to market conditions. However Lois and the team were proactive and steadfast in supporting our aim to move south. When we secured a buyer - the process was extremely smooth and stress free. We would highly recommend King West!
